I've used this twice now with wonderful results. I mist my part, underneath my bangs, and raise sections of hair to mist underneath at the roots. Then I rub it in and brush it out. Gorgeous! Afterwards my hair is a little more matte than when I usually freshly style it but not bad. Plus I can go over the top layer a little with a flat iron and it looks fine. As a busy mom sometimes you don't have time to wash your hair everyday, and for me this stuff is so helpful!! Will definately repurchase. Oh and btw I'm preggers right now too and therefore extra sensitive to smells and this scent (original lemony) didn't bother me at all, plus it doesn't really last too long anywho.
EDIT: gave this stuff another chance and i love it now... they came out with a new scent though and it is the only one i will buy now (the floral scent.. smells SO MUCH BETTER than the original).
Gets me through my no-wash-days and whenever I am too tired to wash my hair before work. Sucks up any oil, neutralizes most odours and refreshes it completely.
I part my hair, spray it lightly on my roots, and brush it out to my ends and then smooth on a serum or silicone shine spray since the shampoo does leave your hair a bit dull, especially on dark hair like mine.
Normally I wash my hair every other day because it tends to dry out when I wash it daily. My "second day" hair tends to be a lot nicer except for the roots. Sometimes the roots may be slightly oily. After hearing about dry shampoos, I recently went out and bought this specifically for my roots. I spray a bit onto the tips of my fingers and rub it through my roots. It's important to really rub it in well and take your time. You will get better results. It cleans the roots and leaves them oil free. It even adds a bit of volume to my flat roots. I don't have a lot of hair and I only use this on the roots so I think this bottle is going to last me at least a few months. If you have very thick hair and you use this for the ends as well, you'll probably go through the bottle a lot more quickly. YES, it does smell a bit like pledge but the smell doesn't linger or anything. I haven't tried high end brands liso I can't compare this to them but I highly recommend this for people who don't want to shell out a lot of money. I believe this was only 9.99 for 5.05 ounces at Sally's Beauty Supply. I love it and I'll continue to buy!
This is one of my beauty essentials. I have blonde highlighted hair with a straight fringe. My fringe does tend to get greasy in between washes and this is a miracle product. You spray a small amount on a section of hair, brush through and Hey Presto, clean fragrant hair that looks freshly washed.
Try it and be amazed. This is only £2.00 a bottle in London so also a very fairly priced product.
Ok first of all i have never ever found a product that could make my hair feel fresh on its oily days ( day after washing ).....until now!! THIS PRODUCT IS AMAZING... it really makes my hair fluffy fresh and voluminous which are major accomplishments. I purchased this at sally's ( best store ever by the way) and i will 100% for sure be getting it again. Camping here i come!
I'm a bit on the fence about this product. I do like it because it refreshed my hair quite nicely. However, it does smell a bit like lemon pledge (I got the original brand). The smell faded after blow drying and putting other products in my hair. I didn't care for the nozzle because it kept clogging up on me. I also didn't like that when I sprayed it got all over the floor as well. I have dark flooring in my room and I could see where the powder had landed. On the plus side my hair did have some volume, smelled and looked nice, therefore it got the job done. I have been using cornstarch as dry shampoo, which is a lot cheaper and IMO just as easy to use. However, it doesn't smell so it doesn't refresh to my liking. This is my first bottle so I think I need to finish it out too see how long it lasts before I decide if I would re-purchase. I will most likely use a combo of cornstarch and Baptiste so I don't use the bottle up as quickly.
I love this dry shampoo. I have long, very fine, blonde hair that is dry on the ends & oily at the roots. I don't like to wash it every day as: 1. it's too drying & 2. takes too much time to brush out & dry. On the days I don't wash, this product soaks up the excess oil & adds some much needed volume. The scent is a bit like lemon pledge, but I actually don't mind it. My only complaints are that it is hard to find this in stores & that the can doesn't last very long (maybe 10 uses tops). I will continue to repurchase - I can't imagine life without this!
Love this stuff. It's perfect for the days when i've been playing about with my fringe and it looks greasy. A fine white powder in aerosol form which brushes out easily. I try to avoid spraying it onto my scalp as I do have sensitive issues there but this doesnt aggrivate too much. I also occasionally use talcum powder but it's just so messy compared to this.
It's 2quid in Boots or Superdrug...a bargain. I forgot to put it in my checked luggage this trip to the states and they made me dispose of it :( but thanks to MUA I now see they stock it at Sallys!
I've been using this for so many years now that I have kind of fallen for the tacky retro 70's packaging :) (personally dont think the 'new' tropical fragrance is a good idea at all, tried my friends and the smell made me feel ill!)
HOLY GRAIL, HOLY GRAIL, BEST PRODUCT on the market! I cannot survive without. Same stuff comparable to Rene Furturer, and Oscar Blandi both are available for $23-24. This stuff is $6.99 At Sally Beauty Supply.
The packaging on this is a little old fashioned looking, but it works great and I love it! My hair is too damaged to wash every day, but in the past year, it's been getting really oily at the roots when I don't wash it, so I started washing every other day and using Batiste every other day. You have to brush out the white residue, but other than that, it's perfect!
