I really really wanted to love this product ! It smells great, and the coverage is amazing. I have it in shade #21.
Unfortately, using this broke me out, and gave me painful cystic acne.
I haven't used the product for about 2 weeks and my acne is slowly healing on its own, however it is leaving behind scars. :(
This was my very first bb cream I tested out.. I use it as a primer due to the color.. it works well as a primer or a foundation.. or you can mix it with your primer or foundation.. whatever works for you.. But the results is stunning!! I highly recommend this products to friends and families.. everyone I introduce this cream to fell immediately in love with it.. all facts!!
First time using a BB Cream and I bought this after searching around and heard how fabulous these were supposed to be, and this one was ranked high. Well I definitely was not disappointed, I absolutely love it. The coverage isn't amazing, but it is good, and it has the added benefit of lightening old scars, which is soooo good for me, it has helped to even out my skin tone and I really like to use this on my lazy days when I want pretty medium coverage without all the work.
Pros: Good coverage, skin benefits immensely, love the lightening effect.
Cons: Maybe the smell, but honestly it doesn't bother me.
Overall: I absolutely love it, and if your looking to try a BB cream than start with this one, oh and don't be worried about the color, I have very, very fair skin and it blended well.
I was actually in korea when i bought this. Honestly, i bought it because Missha was having a 50% sale and i figured i had nothing to lose. but i'm so happy with it! it looks extremely like out of the product, but its blends in so nicely with my skin. also, i was worried about the change of my skin colour from summer to winter, but it worked fine throughout the year! AHHH-MAZING! the product isn't too heavy, and the coverage is buildable. i use one pump for my entire face. its so simple, i just slather it on like moisturizer (LOL i know there's better ways, but im lazy in the mornings!) i also skip the moisturizer step too when i use this and my skin still feels a-okay!
LOVE IT! still on my first bottle, seems to last forever.....WHICH IS A GOOD THING!
I love love love this! It has medium coverage, medium consistency (I wouldn't say it's particularly light) and although the color looks pretty light straight out of the tube (no. 21) it adapts nicely to my face and I always use a bit of bronzer. It doesn't make me oilier than any other foundation I've tried, I use a bit of powder on top. The amazing thing about this is that it makes my pores invisible and it really lightens my face in a way that I look very fresh and healthy - even during exams, when I'm extremely tired and look horrible. Doesn't break me out or cause any irritations. Love it!
Didn't work for my oily skin. #13 is a very pretty cream shade for fair skin, however I was greasy almost instantly.
I too bought this after seeing girls on youtube raving about it. Previously I had been wearing -and loving- BE, but as the weather warmed up BE was making my skin itch and I decided to give BB creams a try. This was the first one I tried, and I think it's great.
I have very sensitive, reactive skin. This doesn't break me out or clog my pores, or make me oily. I get shade 13, bright beige, and it works very well on my superfair, pink toned skin. It evens out my colouring, has great coverage (sometimes I don't even need concealer any more) and looks great all day without touch ups. It goes on matte, with a subtle hint of sheen, so I don't bother powdering after it. It also photographs beautifully, and smells lovely and fresh.
it does have a couple of downsides though - I find it quite drying, even on my oily skin, so I wear a really rich moisturiser underneath it, and a primer to help it blend, and during the day I use a quick spritz of MAC fix+ to keep it looking dewy - if I don't, I find it dries out a bit and it feels powdery and tight on my face. Also, after seeing from the first couple of uses that it clings to the peachfuzz on my cheeks, I've taken to shaving my cheeks for an ultra smooth finish, lol! But thats just me being fussy. Despite these downsides, overall I think it's a fantastic product and gives a beautiful flawless finish. I'll repurchase when I run out.
I found this being raved about by a beauty guru on youtube. She claimed that it had nice coverage and that it was lightweight. It took my interest, went ahead and bought it. To my surprise, I liked it. It was just as she said, lightweight and had nice coverage. I am very happy because I swapped this for my foundation which I felt guilty for using everyday. Wearing foundation everyday as they say, could be bad for your skin. Lasting power? I'd say about 8 hours in the winter, when my skin is less oily. Now that it's spring, a little bit warmer, a little oilier skin, I need to use a primer for it to remain on my skin for 8 hours. Without the primer, it lasts 5 to 6 hours.
I also don't think it made me breakout, nor made my skin itch.
Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream also claims that it could help with wrinkles/anti-aging. I can't say whether this one helps with my wrinkles because I do not have them yet...or maybe this helps me prevent them??? I am not really sure because aside from having SPF 42 PA ++++, I use SPF30 UVA/UVB under it. (SPF helps prevent premature skin aging) So I am not sure.
Packaging...it comes in a red, unsqueezable tube...and a pump. The pump works, but it gets messy when I cover it with the cover. I'd have to wipe of the excess on the mouth of the pump. Kind of like a minor complaint but I am all about how this product benefits my skin anyway.
Oh, and I use just one pump for my entire face and neck. More than that would make my face ghastly white.
Repurchase this product? I am on my second tube. And I bought the travel size one. Haha
**Forgot to mention that I got disloyal to this BB Cream one time, went out and bought two other BB creams but found myself going back to this one.
At first I loved this BB cream. Great coverage, dewy, natural finish, and lasted all day without a primer or finishing powder.
I didn't really think my BB would have an expiration date on when its effectiveness would diminish (Missha's Moist Foundation has lasted me for an entire year and never faltered in quality).
Months later, It was thinned out, made my skin dry, and made me look ghastly, its oxidation power also died I guess.
I am still pondering if I should purchase their darkest shade for summer and just use it up within 3 months but I'm just disappointed that I have to go on a long hunt for a new BB cream.
