I love love love the coverage, its awesome! (lol obviously because its called perfect cover...) But anyways, it definitely lives up to the name. It smells AMAZING, a bit like a sunscreen, but softer and sweeter. It has SPF 42! Thats incredible! I would highly recommend setting it with a loose/pressed powder. I bought my 50ml for around 16 dollars, but a little goes a long way. The only thing that a con, is that there are limited shades, and they are more focused on asian skin tones. I am shade 23. I am for sure going to buy this when I run out :)
I have this in shade 13, Miky Beige, which I find is a great match for my NC15ish skin. Previously I used Paula Dorf tm in Dare to Bare, which was a good pale match, too. I find the coverage on the BB cream to be better - still translucent, looks like skin. Wears on my oily skin like a typical tinted moisturizer, meaning I get shiny, but that's just the nature of my skin. Love the texture, the overage, the spf. Looks great under mac MSFN and PF Healthy Wear translucent powder. Love that it's a multitasker that might have cumulative benefits. We'll see how that goes as I use up the tube. Purchased on ebay from BelloGirl, highly recommend her as a seller.
I bought this on eBay, in the 23 shade since I tan very easily and I'm normally pretty dark anyways (for an Asian, that is). I adore the consistency and the ease of application. I use my fingers to blend it in like a tinted moisturizer, and with a few circles, it really looks airbrushed. It masks redness, pores, lighter blemishes really well, and does a good deal for my darker than dark circles. I don't like using concealer since they tend to clog my pores, so this is a blessing. I do find that on the back of my hand, it's a bit lighter and grayer, but it blends well and oxidizes to just the right shade. I don't know about whitening and the other benefits, but this doesn't break me out, which is pretty much all I was looking for. The packaging is very nice, too. Hygienic, not to mention that I find a pump is the perfect amount for my entire face.
The bad, however--no oil control at all. I have very oily skin, and even with setting powder, I shine like the sun by noon, so I have to constantly blot. The very first day, I could actually scratch my face and have this oily skin-coloured...stuff come off under my nail. Very gross. I wear glasses too, and I can see bits of the stuff on the nose piece when I take off my glasses after a few hours.
Overall, if this had better oil control, I'd be sold. I do think I'll be trying BB creams more, though, but definitely not this one again.
So much has already been said about this wonderful product so I'll keep it simple. For reference I wear M.A.C studio fix in C3 and bought the M Perfect Cover BB Cream SPF 42 PA+++ in No. 21 Light Beige.
1. Makes my skin appear flawless when worn. Even M.A.C Studio fix can't hide my redness and broken capillaries on my cheeks.
2. Gives my skin a dewy/glowing look when worn alone.
3. Very moisturizing & absorbs quickly into my skin
4. Contains SPF ;)
5. Easy application. You can use your fingers, foundation brush, or sponge wedge.
1. Very oily. I need to blot after a few hours because my face looks very greasy. This only happens to me in the summer when the weather is very hot (85+ F). Otherwise, it retains the dewy look in the winter.
2. It causes me to break out on the sides of my chin. Therefore, I wear the bb cream only when I'm going to have a lot of face to face contact with multiple people or to special events.
3. The pump clogs/stops working after awhile and needs to be cleaned with hot water.
I will be repurchasing this brand of BB cream, but will try M Signature Real Complete BB Cream (made with organic ingredients) instead.
The shade doesn't suit me well. I've tried the lightest shade but it's still too dark for my skin tone. The oil control of this bb is ok and can last for almost a day without any touch ups.
The worst part of this bb is... it clogs my pores! Used it for 2 weeks and my face went crazy with bumps and pimples! Double cleansing won't do any justice. I think you would need to triple cleanse! Well, triple cleansing doesn't work well for me either...
Those who are using this good luck.
well, i have such a sensitive skin and for me make up,especially for the face area except eyes, is one of the hardest thing to do since i have to be extra careful or i'll definitely have a break out.
i have use a lot of variety of BB cream, and i never had the satisfaction.
then from a youtube "makeup guru" she recommended this product, so i'll give it a try, since the product is quite cheap.
and i'm shock...this product is the BOMB!!!
I love it, i love it.
i never use any foundation anymore. this BB cream totally did all the job. all of my family/friends always compliment me when i'm wearing it, since it gives me such a flawless look. i even use it to a party at night.
i never had any problem with this product, idk why, i think my skin loves this BB cream. it matches my skin tone really well (i use NC 23), cover my scar well ( but for undereye when i have the panda eyes sometimes i still use the concealer), and it doesnt turn cakey/anything. the longest i've ever use this product is for about 6 hours and it's still fine.
although, ater apply it you have to put some powder to it, so it will make a more natural look.
in the past wearing foundation=break out. but now, for the first time, my skin still healthy even after i wearing a longtime make up. love it.
i'll definitely going to buy this again.
After hearing so many good reviews, I purchased both #21 and #23 online to try out the colors cuz I got fair yellow toned skin. I can't say I love them. The coverage was ok, however, both the colors couldn't match my skin well and the products didn't last long during the day. Maybe it's just me, but they couldn't offer a natural look.
I have fully gone through one Chanel and one Estee Lauder foundation so my opinions aren't based from years of experience but here goes...The texture of this BB is unique and takes some time getting used to. It is matte and adheres-is that the right word? to your skin very well. It is waterproof so the color does not fade away easily from sweat. If this breaks you out, of course you shouldn't be using it! I've never broken out from this BB though... and my skin is fairly sensitive. I get a pimple whenever I travel. This BB provides good coverage and has a finish that looks less cakey compared to the foundations I've used so I plan on buying it again when I am through with this tube. Just read the ingrediants list before you buy it if you have super sensitive skin.
I have it in shade #13 Milky Beige, and I use it every day! It has definitely gotten rid of my scars, and it has helped with my acne as well. I love this BB cream very much, and I will definitely buy it again :)
I got this from my Aunt that was in Korea. It's the lightest color and it does match my skintone pretty well... (for reference my skin is a NC20-25) only problem is there is a bit of a greyish cast and I do believe that is an issue with many BB creams. It gives a nice finish to my skin... a bit dewy and evens out the tone. If you are looking for full coverage you can keep "layering" this on or keep light like I do and have a nearly flawless finish.
I would wear this out for daytime bc it has good SPF but I would def not wear it out at night especially if you are taking photos. It will leave a whitish look in pictures as foundations with spf are prone to do. I say give it a try.
