This is my first time using liquid eyeliner. I don't usually put eyeliner on my top eyelid, just usually underneath my eye with an eye pencil. I like the felt tip because it makes it easier for a person who doesn't know what they are doing to draw a straight line. I am really happy with this product. It lasts forever and really sets off fake eyelashes. And the price is great and affordable.
I bought this cause I saw a YouTube video and the girl was raving about how easy it was to apply because of the felt tip. So I ran over to Rite Aid, and got this. I got it during a BOGOF and purchased it with some mascara for my mom. But let me tell you, this is my HG liquid eyeliner. I LOVE it, it applys so easy and it stays put all day. I will definitely keep repurchasing. The price is kinda on the higher side but worth it, i'm looking out for BOGOF's so that I can stock up. This eyeliner is amazing, if you were thinking about getting it, get it. It's so worth it!
I applied this liner to a peice of paper along with a gel liner (Loreal HIP). The gel liner flaked off the paper, so I imagine the staying power on your eyes with a gel could do the same thing. I am switching to this felt tip liner pen because it's easy to apply, an intense black color and the price is right! Plus I dont have to dirty a brush. LOVE IT.
This is my HG eyeliner. I LOVE this stuff & I use it everyday! It doesn't flake or smudge and is really easy to use. I usually get this BOGO at ulta so it's a great deal!
i'm still figuring out how to use this stuff because i'm relatively new to eyeliner, but i love this. the felt tip is genius and it makes it really easy, it's great for beginners. i wear contacts and i haven't had a problem, and if i can get it on well enough to wear it outside my house it has no problem staying on all day.
L'oreal Lineur Intense Felt Tip Liquid Eyeliner is my favorite eyeliner ever.
Ever since I discovered liquid eyeliner 10 years ago I've been hooked. Nothing gives my asian eyes, definition, depth and drama like liquid liners.
I've tried them all, Chanel, etude, maybelline, WNW, Revlon, Lancome, Debon, laneige etc. and L'oreal is my absolute favorite.
-Lasting power: On my asian eyes this liner lasts and looks fresh most of the day. There is no obvious flaking, smudging, creasing or fading but I'm sure if I were to look very very carefully at the end of a long day I might see a flake or a very small crease. If I use pencil liners it always smudges by the end of the day and its very noticeable unlike when I use L'oreal Lineur Intense. I can wear this liner in humid weather and it can also withstand rain without it running down my face.
btw. I only use this on my upper lid.
-Color selection: They have all the basics. Carbon Black, Black, Brown, and Mineral Grey (I have them all). Carbon Black is a very deep and pigmented black and I find the color identical to Lancome's artliner.
- Easy to use! With Lineur intense I can make a very clean line. The felt tip is stable and firm but the end has just the perfect amount of flexibility so that you can easily draw any kind of line that suits you.
Also, the felt tip doesn't get goopy with too much liquid liner fluid on it. I personally find brush applicators for liners very annoying, they can soak up too much liner fluid, become splayed and damaged and if the brush is floppy, too long or bad quality it seems impossible to make a clean line.
-Price: Considering that the last time I purchased a high end liquid liner it set me back 30 bucks this liner is a steal at around 7 bucks, especially since it outperforms all the other liners I've tried with the exception of Art Liner. To me, Lancome's Art Liner and L'oreal's carbon black is identical.
Packaging: Recently it seems as though they've cheapened the packaging for this liner. It's still a minimal gold tube without any labels but it isn't as shiny and sleek as it used to be. It now has a strange, matte cheap plastic feel to it. Well, this doesn't apply to the carbon black version since it comes in a black tube. Well regardless, the liner is pen shaped which makes it easy to hold and control. There is no leakage, it closes nicely and because of the great shape you can store the pens easily AND travel with them. No clunky, crusty bottles and stubby handles to worry about. It all works well.
Easy to wash off: Another reason why I Looove this stuff is that it is easy to remove with makeup remover or cleansing oil. For me it is much easier to wash off than pencil liners because it doesn't have a waxy/oily base.
Eyelid friendly: I like how liquid liners glide on without pulling or tugging. Less pulling/tugging = less wrinkles in the future. Also I have very sensitive eyes and this doesn't cause any burning, itchiness or redness for me.
Tip: If you are a liquid eyeliner newbie one way to make a clean line is to first draw a line with a pencil. Create any kind of line, shape you want and then clean the line up using a q-tip that is slightly dampened. After you have achieved a look you are happy with, using the pencil liner as a quide apply the liquid liner.
For maximum staying power you can apply the pencil, go over the pencil with a matching shadow and then apply the liner. This is what I used to do when I felt that my eyelids were really oily. Or use a primer (I don't use a primer because they burn my eyes). If your eyelids aren't super oily you can just apply the liner on bare lids without a problem.
How great would it be if this liner came in a sparkly sapphire blue or emerald green or a deep shimmery chocolate brown?!!
Yes, I would repurchase this product. its a staple for me.
Best liquid liner I have ever used. When I first started wearing liquid liner I would mess up every time. Especially when doing my water line it would always smear or spread over my entire eye. But once I found this it never has, not once and it has been three years now and I don't think I will ever try another liquid liner as long as these stay in stores. And the felt tip is so easy to use. I recomend all colors. Chose the one that best suits you best.
I really wanted to like this liner but for some reason it really doesnt work for me. The formulation is not black enough and always leaves a streaky line on my lids. I have to go over my eyeliner 2-3 times to get it opaque. The lasting power also sucks. This eyeliners flakes pretty easily. The only thing I like about this liner is the application tip, which makes lining easy and precise.
The most fabulous liquid eyeliner that I have come across (and I am a makeup junkie). The colour payoff is great, super easy to apply, chic packaging (shiny black with gold writing- reminiscent of Chanel) and pretty cheap, $7-9. Highly recommend this wonderful product!
This liner is easy to apply because of the felt tip. I love what a bright black it is, and lasts all day on me. My favorite liquid liner on the market.
