I really really like this powder. For oil prone skin and visible pores, this is the best drugstore powder you'll get! It sets makeup very well and I love the finish it gives. It does not accentuate the look of pores it actually makes them appear smaller, and it keeps you matte for as long as a powder possible can! HG for sure!

If there were a 'maybe I would buy this again' option I would pick that

I got this as a transcluscent set/touch up powder and it is not bad.

however it looks very powdery and is not transcluscnet but actually quite alabaster.

I am fair so it kind of works but I end up using it on my neck whenever I wear a foundation that is a light but I flush in the neck and chest. I do sometimes use it on my face too.

I like the scent but it is not necessary

at first I thought I did not like this but I hit pan on it so I guess I did.

I was looking for a translucent setting powder that would leave a matte finish and this does it for me; it does come out slightly pale but not too much to give a ghastly look. The packaging would be inconvenient to carry around as the lid comes off easily but I don't take it out of the house so it's fine. The powder itself is very good in my opinion and is a good bargain; it only takes a couple of light swipes from my brush to give my face a nice matte finish, and it lasts for a long time. I think after about 8 or 9 hours you'd have to reapply it, but I'm usually not out for that long so this is great for me. :) Would purchase again.

I love it! I believe it works better than MAC's Blot Powder. I've been using MAC for ages and wanted to give this a try after reading the reviews.

I am Asian and have super oily skin, like makeup would slide off of my skin after a few hours. (I put my makeup on around 7:20 -ish, I arrive at my office's parking lot around 8:15. My nose would be shiny by then) So I decide to try Stay Matte powder. The foundation still hasn't slid off of my face as of 12:26 PM right now. My face and nose is significantly less oily compare to using MAC. I hope this will keep up with good work until the end of the day when everything turns ashy. No complaints on the effects so far.

The only thing I would complaint about is the package. It doesn't come with a mirror and it's... well, weird. You have to turn and twist until it opens. The powder itself is soft and silky. (I got this in 003, Silk Beige BTW.) It doesn't settle into dry spots... not that I have any. It's barely there but not translucent. I got this at CVS for about $10. I definitely will buy this again.

i dont have that oily of skin but this is the perfect setting powder. it seems to minimize my pores and really keep my skin matte. when id workout or by the end of the day i wouldnt look sweaty/oily. i definitly reccomend this if you have oily skin. and want that 'matte' look. i reccomend it just for a setting powder. i dont kno about the coverage because i had mine in transparent. for the price i think i got it for about 5bucks it had alot of product in it, very smooth not powdery or chalky. if you just need oil control not coverage get this in transparent because u can keep adding it on threwout the day nd not get that icky caked up look:) xoxo

This pressed powder is a hit-and-miss for me. It definitely does what it's supposed to do in terms of mattifying my face and keeping my makeup i.e. concealer in place. I also find that it prevents it from looking cakey, which is hard to find when it comes to powders. I purchased this on sale for 3 dollars so you definitely can't go wrong. On to the negatives: the packaging. It's very cheap and poor quality, I mean the top part doesn't even screw on properly therefore it's almost impossible to carry in your purse without it falling off. Also, it only comes in like 4 shades. I currently own the darkest which is silky beige and it's still a little too light for my skin tone. Overall I'd say the good outweighs the bad.

This stuff is okay but not the best I’ve tried. I believe the packaging says it’ll keep your face matte for 5 or 6 hours; if I make it 3 hours, I’m lucky. I do like the packaging but wish the product itself actually did what it’s supposed to. The powder also has a very small amount of shimmer/sparkle to it; it’s not very noticeable, I only noticed it when I had a mirror right up to my face. I won’t be repurchasing this powder as I’ve found a different setting powder that might just be my HG. My possible HG powder is the Cover Girl clean oil control pressed powder; I’m still testing it out but so far I love it.

This is my first pressed powder but I used it as a setting powder and it's worth the money! It minimize my pores, set my makeup and gives a matte finish which stays for 6 hours, after that which needs some blotting and touch up. However the package is a sore to me, it does not close. And it's not available in town so I had to get through drugstore. :(

I have this in translucent, and while it doesn't affect the way my foundation looks, and lets my foundation settle quite nicely, I feel like it's too dry for my cheeks. It definitely accentuates any dryness, and doesn't control oil too well (I would still have to blot throughout the day). So I would not repurchase.

I use this in translucent to set my sunscreen and/or foundation in the a.m. It's finely milled so goes on smoothly and doesn't look cakey. Nothing will keep me matte for hours, but this works as well as any other powder and better than many I've tried. I'm not wild about the packaging, as it's not something you can toss in your purse and flip open when you want, but it's fine sitting on the bathroom counter. It's not heavily scented, which is great, and the color stays true throughout the day. I will repurchase.
