this is an okay Mascara, I expected a little bit more drama, it is nice but it does flake around the under eye area. I don't think ill purchase this. I've used way better mascara from the drug store with better results.
I have very thin lashes and most of mascara would just create black smudges on my lid
Somehow this pulled my lashes out and still looks quite natural
I'm so disappointed by this mascara. For $30 I was expecting something outstanding, or at least better than drugstore brands. It's not terrible, but in my opinion it's no better than Covergirl Clump Crusher. After a few hours, it leaves black marks on my eyelids.
My lashes are already long and full so maybe this has a more noticeable effect on people with shorter/thinner lashes to begin with. I also found that it's a bit flaky. Bummer.
I got a sample of this along with Benefit's Watt's Up highlighter (which I'll be reviewing next) for my birthday from Sephora. And I absolutely adore it.
Prior to discovering this mascara, I was using the Buxom mascara from Bare Escentuals, and while I loved it, I found it didn't wear well over the course of the day and was somewhat hard to build. I often had to layer it with other mascaras to get the full, fluttery lash effect that I so crave.
But now, I'm definitely going to make the switch to They're Real!
One coat gives me wonderfully black, long lashes with loads of definition. Slap on one more coat, and I've got feather-like, voluminous lashes that look so fanned out and sexy that I can hardly even stand it. So pretty!
I don't have any issues with flaking, and it seems to be quite water resistant, even though it makes no claims to be. That's a nice surprise.
The wand is amazing. I enjoy the plastic-like wands over bristle because I feel they grab and separate my lashes better. The shape of the wand is wonderful too; I'm able to really get at every lash, including those on my lower lash line.
Overall, I really enjoy this mascara, and will be purchasing once I run out of the sample (which I'm sure will be soon enough). I know it'll be pricey, but mascara lasts me quite a long time, so I don't worry too much about that, within reason.
I got a sample of this from my Sephora birthday gift. It made my eyelashes look really nice, but the formula is so thick it started to make them feel heavy. Also, it took forever to take off. Normal makeup remover wipes wouldn't cut it, I literally could not get it off no matter what I tried. This works really well but the only reason I wouldn't purchase is because $23 is just way too much for me for a mascara.
Yuck. I have long, fairly full lashes naturally, but this makes them look like scrawny, spikey sticks. Really difficult to get off too. I'll stick with my Maybelline Full and Soft. I'm glad I didn't pay for this - I got in for my Sephora birthday gift.
I hated this product.
I expected something more but it sticks my eyelash together and they are horrible. Ive seen drugstore mascara doing better than this one !
I heard such good reviews about this on youtube, and i have no idea why..... Its an okay mascara but for its price i expected something AMAZING! It takes forever to apply and get your lash;s just right! its to "natural" looking and by the end of the day it looks like im not wearing any mascara at all!
spider like lash's
This is one of the best mascaras I've tried. I got a mini version with my Benefit Do the Bright Thing Kit. I have long lashes and this enhances them even more. The brush separates my lashes while coating them with the mascara. It is very black and makes my lashes look even longer. I have been using this for about a month now and haven't had any problems with clumping. It also lasts for hours which is nice. I also like the fact that it isn't super heavy. I barely feel like I'm wearing mascara. I definitely plan on buying the full size.
