I thought this was very moisterizing. People complain about the smell but I don't sense anything (I smelled worse things before). I like the honey lip balm over the regular beeswax one since it has peppermint oil in it.
Typically a fan of anything Burt's (although QUITE upset that they got bought out by Clorox and not sure if I'll continue to use their stuff), I would have likely purchased this balm on its own had I not received it in a gift set. I'm sure glad I didn't fork over the two bucks for it, because it smells like total crap. There's something actually repulsing about its scent.
I'm sticking to the Pomegranate Oil and regular formulas.

Disgusting..... i honestly refuse to kiss my sweetheart when he's wearing this. He must have gotten it because he thought i'd like it, but this is some disgusting honey..... Odd, because it does smell like raw raw honey, but plastic-y. But.. he doesn't like to waste things, he's still using it- until i plan to accidentally lose it. it's honestly so bad i can smell it a so far away from him
*poor SO*
I can't tell how moisturizing or anything this is, the first time i put it on i wiped it off immediately. Don't waste your money unless you're looking to repulse people.

How does this make the entire world smell like baby powder? Ugh, it could make a dead horse puke. Intolerable. Product screw-ups of this magnitude can only be explained by nepotism. Burt must have given his nephew a job in R&D.
EDIT: I keep this in my travel cosmetics to use if I sneak a smoke at my in-laws' house or use a bathroom with very little privacy. I just rub some of it on my arm, or even on a kleenex I drop in a waste basket. It covers up any smell, anywhere. Unbelievable. continued >>

This is my favorite lip condtioner. The smell is sweet and yummy! It moisturizers very well, and stays on the lips rather than absorbing in and disapperaing like many others. I am completely addicted!
Ick! I definitely agree with the previous reviewer who said it reminds her of an "old lady smell." I was thinking that too, but I can't define what it is. (No offense to old ladies intended.) I gave one lippy for moisturizing, although it's more like Bonne Bell balms than the original Burt's Bees in moisturizing ability. The other lippy is because Burt's Bees doesn't test on animals. I can't find anything I like about it besides that and I can't deal with the scent enough to rough it. I'm returning this tomorrow!
The scent is weird, but the product itself is pretty great that I look past it. I put some on while I'm doing my makeup in the morning to keep my lips moisturized before I put any product on them. I also put some on before bed. The formula is very smooth and I like the way it makes my lips feel.
i honestly don't understand why people hate the scent so much. granted, it's not as wonderfully delicious as the LUSH "honey i washed the kids" soap, but i don't expect it to be. (go try the LUSH soap if you want some AMAZING honey scentedness!)
the honey lip balm has a hint of honey and some chemically smelling stuff but nothing unbearable. i'll probably use up the balm and go buy a better scented one. i probably won't go for the original minty burts bees lip balm since i dislike the scent - who wants chewing gum flavored lips? - and the tingly sensation.
don't buy this at eckerd/rite aid. it's ridiculously pricey there. almost $3 i believe.
Quite pleasant honey-tasting lip balm. Slightly herbal too. Went gritty and odd on me very fast. Not as nice, as honeyed balms go, as the Nuxe - but a lot cheaper. I picked this up several times in the US in stores, when lips got chapped when walking home and I found I'd left my preferred lipbalm at work or home. Resolved by buying multiples and leaving them in every possible bag, to avoid the Burt.
