Okay, I don't know how this gloss got so popular. Sure it's cute and smells good, but it looked horrible on me. I'm a light skined asian, so though I'm light compared to many other asians I'm still tan next to caucasians. It was way too light on me. I also found it a bit too sticky. It might be better on someone paler though.
I saw this on so many people's lips, I just had to get one for myself. (I didn't find out about the Paris Hilton connection until afterwards - yikes. I'm horrified that we now have something in common.) I was looking for a neutral-ish but sexy shine gloss, and Prrr was my first lipglass purchase. At first, I was underwhelmed. I am a NC15 but have highly pigmented lips, and this looked too light and waayyy too frosty on me. Finally I wiped it off, dug out my Spice pencil, and reapplied. Now THAT looks better - on me it achieves a light caramel shade with some pink. I still think it's a little overpowering if I really put on a significant coat, though.
Because of the extra step required (and my desire to try new shades), I probably won't repurchase. Still looking for the HG of neutral lipcolors for red lips! EDIT: I swapped this puppy, it's just not for me.
Way too pale and frosty. Reminds me of the 80's when girls would outline their lips in dark brown and fill in with pale barbie pink.
I tried Prrr based on all the rave reviews - boy, was I disappointed. The color was a very pale pearly pink, almost chalky looking on me. I looked deathly ill. It could be that I have a fair bit of yellow in my Asian skin.
Worn alone, this lipglass washed me out. But over lipsticks, you can't go wrong with Prrr. This is a divinely sexy ligloss.
I really get use out of this lipgloss. If I wear it alone I achieve that frosty playmate pout, but when pairing it with a liner like spice it becomes more demure and just adds a great accent. It's a lipgloss I keep reaching for when I have a drayer full and one of the few I keep re-buying because it can be classic or edgy!
I'm blond and pale and I love this color on me. I pair it with Spice lip pencil and am really happy with the combo.
This lipgloss is quite nice. You can wear it alone or over lipstick. My skin is very pale and this color looks great on me. I will buy this again.
Hmm. I thought I would like this for everyday purposes. However, seeing as how I bought it in San Francisco, where it's almost always overcast and cold, and my skin therefore is paler than usual, it seems to wash me out. It does work with a smokey eye though. Thankfully we're getting into the fall season here, which means I can start wearing my (more pigmented) lipsticks. I'll see how Prrr looks on me during the summer. BE 1.2/MAC NC30/Asian/Yellow-toned.
