While this wasn't the worst foundation I've tried, I certainly won't be buying it again. I don't need a whole lot of coverage, but this gave far too little and looked really chalky! I threw this in the trash after a week or two of use and decided $25 wasn't too much to get the results of BE. I wasn't expecting Maybelline's version to be as good, but it wasn't even in the same ballpark to me.
I thought it gave a good coverage, much better then Loreal's offering!! I did find for my oily skin it wouldn't stay all day and as will many minerals started to whiten over time on my face.
I think for a young skin without oil it would be great! Just not for me!
I know some day I'll be able to go back to mineral makeup. I originally started with BE 1.2, was fine but started to itch on warm days. So went for PL, was fine with a custom blend the first batch, but the second batch was a little different in color and it made me itch! I've not found one that doesn't make me itch.
I tried this again, BE was a nice buildable coverage, no matter how many times I buffed, twirled or even just swept (in all directions) it never got any more coverage than my first go round.
Not worth it, back to the store.
At first I thought I looked wonderful in the mirror of my bathroom and my skin really did glow and looked flawless (after applying a bit of concealer to my cheeks to get rid of the redness then applying the powder) but thne I went outside and I turned into an ompa lompa! The colour under lights matched perfectly, not so much in day light so be warned. The make up did get scratchy after a while and I found it quite irritating. Will not be buying again.
I really liked this product when i first used it because it made me look flawless but after several applications it started to give me this weird looking color. I am super prone to acne but this product didn't really make me break out as much. I forgot to mention... the weird looking color that it made me look was super peachy and cakey!!
I found this in the clearance section at Target for around $9. It was a starter kit. I figured for 3 products + 1 brush it would be worth just testing out. Color aside, I found this product awful. It caked on my skin, and amplified any dry spots or redness I had on my face. I personally always use Bare Minerals foundation, but I figured I'd give a less expensive brand a try. The brush is horrendous, it is tighly compacted and very uncomfortable on the skin. I'm a fan of high end and drugstore products, but when it comes to drugstore foundation I am never satisfied. One thing I did like about the product was the packaging...so thats one plus.

The coverage is very minimal, and it doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything on my face. The color is a little darker than what is shown on the packaging, so that posed a few problems. When I put it on (especially with the provided kabuki brush), the color makes me look way too tan, but now I use a lighter liquid foundation to makeup for it. The powder can get very messy, and can get very hard to remove from my fabrics. The powder is very fine, so it looks very smooth.
Overall, it's an okay foundation (I just use it as a setting powder). I probably wouldn't buy it again, and look for a better foundation.
I purchased this foundation a month ago and I love it!! The coverage is very minimal but that is the look that I am comfortable with. It is very mild so it did not irritate my sensitive skin. I do agree with other reviewers that the kabuki brush is really prickly and I feel it would scratch my face. So I used it with my own powder brush, which worked perfectly!
