I had heard this was the holy grail of top coats and I found it for cheap at Marshalls so I was quite excited. THIS IS THE WORST TOP COAT EVER!!! Within an hour on every single finger my polish came off in one piece I didn't even have to peel it of it just lifted right off my nail. The same thing happened on more than one occasion, I used the same base coat as I always do and it was horrible, I may repurchase it if I can find it for cheap i case I just got a dud.

I am a nail fanatic so it was only natural that I would eventually splash out and try this 'hg' product. Sadly I didn't get the results that everybody raves about. I've only given it one lippy because it dries fast, but that's kind of pointless because my nail varnish is ruined from chipping the very next day!
I have used it on different brands and tried to use it straight away when nails are wet as instructed, or after a minute as someone suggested so that it's not applied over a totally wet nail to see if that worked. But whatever I seem to do it chips the next day or day after to the point where I think my polish would last longer without it. Therefore I find this much too overpriced and will find an alternative.

It's good in that it dries really fast, it takes the hassle out of waiting forever, the con that really deters me from buying it again is that it chips really fast, my manicures that i do on myself lasts at least 10-14 days, using this top coat, my manicure lasts like 4-5 days, so that part is really annoying, i would just buy the horse lacquer then it because at least it lasts long

Favorite top coat, hands down! Makes all my manis dry super fast, and keeps them shiny and chip free for at least 5 days. I use this with the seche base coat, and I don't experience any shrinkage or color change. Personally, I don't care that it's not a 3-free product. I've also used the poshe and sally hansen top coats, but I ran right back to this one. When SV gets thick, just add some seche restorer to it, and it will work as good as new!

What I like about it - it is definitely fast drying, and adds a thick, plasticky smooth coat over nails that can make them look like gel. My last manicure lasted two weeks with no ships, only tip wear.
What I don't like - it discolors lighter nail polishes, ie a true white will be slightly yellower with Seche on top. This is not too noticeable enough to be a deal breaker.
Others have noticed how badly this smells. I think 3 free polishes smell so much less, but even my old chemical laden polishes don't smell this bad.
I feel like since using this, my nails are in worse condition when I remove my polish.

Top coat is something I need to use liberally, so ideally I would like an affordable 3 free topcoat that gives nails a glossy, gel like look and lengthens wear. SV is okay, but on the look out for something better.

Heard so much rave about this, but def not my fave.
This stuff goes goopy after awhile and I don't know why, after the first few applications it doesn't dry as fast as it used to be.

favorite top coat. definitely lives up to all the hype. I always have people ask if i'm wearing gel polish when I use this. suuuuper shiny and significantly cuts down drying time. bad points? it gets very thick when you're about halfway through the bottle and it's easy to go through a bottle since the product is definitely thicker than most top coats. with that being said I have no desire to try any other top coat cause this one is just about perfect,

I love this stuff. I've always gone between getting my nails done at a salon, and doing them myself. Seche Vite has made me love doing my own nails all the more since I don't have to sit around and wait for my nails to dry. My nails are 100% dry within 2 minutes of finishing up my manicure. They're super shiney too! I'm about 3/4 done with my bottle and it is just starting to get really thick. I can still use it, but it's definiately getting goopey. Also, this stuff STINKS. I'll repurchase. This has really let me do multiple manicures a week. I can't really comment on adding wear time, as all polish chips on me within 3 days.

This product is amazing! As someone who is obsessed with nail polish and paints their nails at least once a week, I would say this would be in my top 10 beauty products ever! It gives your nails that glossy look and dries your nail polish FAST. Perfect whether or not you are in a rush! My only complaint is that I wish I'd found it sooner! :) Got mine at ULTA for around $8.
