Absolutely fantastic. I find this color to be too dark to use as eyeshadow, but it's perfect as eyeliner. It works as well dry as it does wet and it stays on REALLY well, but is also easy to remove at the end of the day. As far as packaging, I find it disappointing because the lid is not clear, and you have to turn the container upside down just to see what color it is. I have 3 of her eyeshadows and I wish they could just print the color on the top of the lid so I didnt have to open them or turn them upside down just to see which color it is. All in all, it's a great product.

I have used Mahogany as it is included in one of the BB palettes that I own. Mahogany isn't my favourite shade. Although it looks like it should be a nice, matte, deep brown, I find this shadow has a green tinge to it that isn't very attractive. It doesn't show up as a true brown shade on me. Staying power is good, and BB eyeshadows have a nice texture and are easy to apply. I would repurchase, only in a different colour(s).

These shadows retail for $19 and comes in a large round black pot with clear lid. Each shadow is double the size of a MAC one, .09 oz. Dark matte chocolate brown. Nice shade for lining but very standard shade. every line makes one.

I use this as a liner with my Too Faced Liquif-Eye. The most natural, subtle, elegant, perfect shade of brown (IMHO!). Because I'm a novice at this, it took a while to realize that you can easily adjust the depth of color by adjusting the number of times you swipe the Liquif-Eye application tip across the shadow. (Duh, I know.) Anyway, I can now put on just the perfect amount in just the right shade. And when I want to get glam, I simply apply a darker coating along the outer 1/3 of each eye! This is my absolute HG liner. And with a touch of Bone under the brow bone - Hello, I'm lovely & don't look made-up at all.

After some thought I gave this 4 lippies instead of three. Okay, it is a fairly basic dark brown - nothing fancy about it at all - but the texture is great, I can even blend it out for a smokey look so it's not only for lining. I got this in a swap with Smoke and rather wish I hadn't - they are very similar and although this is definitely more brown, Smoke is a little darker and more black so I prefer that one. But if you want a great basic dark brown shadow you can't really go wrong with this one - and you get a big pan so it'll last forever too! EDIT: I'm not swapping this after all. It is definitely more brown whereas Smoke is more gray/black. Keeping both.

Too dark for my brows but perfect as an eyeliner--goes on well wet or dry and stays on. I use the ultra fine eyeliner brush, damp, for application. Love it!

This is a beautiful warm brown (a happy medium between BB's 'espresso' and 'chocolate') that unfortunately does not stay put. I was interested because I was looking for a dark brown e/s that could work as a liner, and Bobbi Brown was renowned for its earth tones. Well, the color definitely did not disappoint, but the pigmentation and staying power were questionable. When applied with the right brush over an e/s base, it looked amazing, but it also faded quickly and unevenly. While not terrible, it didn't live up to the brand's reputation. I have exchanged for Laura Mercier's "Coffee Ground," which is just as versatile, but lasts for hours.

A Bobbi Brown MUA recommended this to me as an eyeliner for blue eyes. I love it especially with a neutral shadow on the lids like Vanilla or Malted. For some reason, it really defines blue eyes. Another great Bobbi Brown product!

This is a great matte dark brown color that I use for my eyes and eyebrows. I have fair-medium Asian skin with black hair, and this is the perfect match for my eyebrows. I use it more for eyebrow color since I tend to like eyeshadows with a bit of shimmer to them.

I love this colour for lining my eyes. I have the split pan bone/mahogany and use it everyday. I wish the lids were a flip top like Mac. I hate having to unscrew the lid and then I misplace the lid. I can overlook that though because it is a wonderful eye shadow.
