I got a deluxe sample of this from Sephora as a 100 point perk. It does seem to make a difference in the wear of my makeup and feels very refreshing. I would compare it to MUFE's setting spray and might buy it some day if found on sale.

i have oily skin and am always searching for products to make my foundation last longer so i decided to pick this up. I don't think it makes a difference at all in how long my makeup stays on. it does feel refreshing when you spray it on though.
I really like this product. I use it both before I do my face makeup, and after to set everything. It doesn't make me look shiny, just healthy. And it makes my skin feel nice. But I really have no idea if this does anything to help the longevity of my makeup. It doesn't make a significant enough difference for me to justify buying it again. I think I might try the all nighter spray next time.
I thought this will help me with my oily skin. Nope. Didn't make a difference it stayed the same with or without the spay. I put it before and after my foundation.
This product really didn't do anything for my combination skin. As a primer, it was fine. No better or worse than other primers I've tried, but doesn't have SPF, which to me is a negative. As a finishing spray, I really didn't like this product. It gave my face a wet/shiny look (even after it dried), which is ironic given that it's an oil-control setting spray.
Overall: Pass. As a primer, meh. As a finishing spray, bad.
Alternatives: I've just started using Skindinavia Finishing Spray (also makes this product), which has done a great job making my makeup last longer so far. However, I haven't been using long enough to have a strong opinion. I stil haven't found a primer that I'm particularly enamored with yet.
Value: Bad, mostly because I don't like the product.

I really like this Setting Spray, its the first one I have ever used and Im impressed so far :), I spray it after my foundation and again after I finished all my make-up. This spray definitely takes the 'Powdery' look away which I always tend to have because I have oily skin so I do anything possible to matt my face but it still leaves my skin looking matt. It doesn't make my make-up last a huge amount longer than it normally does (maybe about 3-4 hours)
PROS
+ Gets rid of powdery look while still matting the face
+ Makes makeup last longer (3-4hrs)
+ Can be used as a primer which I dont do but I will definitely try
+ Nice packaging
+ Can be used during the day to make the makeup look like you just did it
CONS
- Quite pricey
Love this stuff, and it definitely delivers - I have been using MAC Fix+ which I love, but has a tendency to make my makeup finish more dewy than I would always like. I am 35, and have slightly oily skin (not as oily as it used to be) and this definitely seems to help control the shine, especially on my forehead. It sets my makeup beautifully, and it will last all day on me - but, for those with oily skin, I also use an oil control toner prior to makeup application, so don't expect this to be your only way to combat the oilies. The new packaging (white with gray lettering) is much better than the old tie-dye looking kind, and has a nice fitting cap that will probably hold up during travel. Love it!
The packaging looks very cheap for such an expensive product. I have very oily skin and this product made loads of promises that unfortunately it couldn't deliver. Wouldn't buy again.
I have owned this spray and the Skindinavia Bridal Spray. Skindinavia makes these sprays for Urban Decay. It took me a few times to get the right steps. After moisturizing - I use the spray. If I spray too much I just pat it into my skin. At this point you can use a primer but I do not always use one. I use the Naked Skin Foundation and I set with powder. For foundation - I actually spritz this onto my flat top foundation brush and stipple the foundation. I end up using less foundation and my brushes are less icky. After applying all my make up except mascara - I spray again. I don't know why but using all three ways have made my make up look less cakey and more natural while keeping the oilies at bay. Even after humidity and sweat - my make up is still on. I don't believe there is any HG product that keeps the oilies at bay perfectly for anyone. The product work great for what it is - its just time consuming to get the full effect.
