i love this product its full coverage and it dosent feel heavy. its just when your getting this powder you should get it one shade brighter because when it oxides it goes a shade darker.apart from that i love it you get a lot of quanity so its worth the price.

I really like this foundation. I have oily skin, even though I have some dry areas on my face, so it'd be combination skin. I love that it can be light coverage with a big powder brush and just a little bit of product, or it can be a full coverage foundation. It controls the oil on my skin, but after a few hours a bit of shine shows up, which if perfectly normal, but this is surprisingly good. Also, I love using a bit of concealer or the Mac Face&Body foundation and then set everything up with this product. I love this product. I have fairly oily skin so I don't enjoy using liquid foundation and tend to do so only when I need high coverage. This evens out my skin tone and leaves my face looking perfectly matte (which is the look I am going for) but yet not cakey. I have bought this many times and will continue to buy. I have not yet found a powder foundation which covers as beautifully as this. Great for no fuss makeup when I am headed to work and don't need a full face of heavy makeup. I also like that it is available in a vast variety of shades so you are almost guaranteed a good match for your skin. This is especially good for someone like myself who has ghostly pale skin. I am a hard match in many foundations. I even use it for touch-ups and have never had an issue with cakiness as long as I use a light hand.

Love this powder. Use with a sponge to create a fuller coverage. Use with a brush for light coverage or as a setting powder.

I personally like to use this with Studio Fix Fluid when I'm going out at night and need super duper flawless coverage. I apply my Studio Fix Fluid, then using a stippling/buffer brush, apply this powder over the top and buff it into the skin. Creates a flawless face without looking too heavy. Be careful as the more you apply, the heavier it can start to look.

When I really can't be bothered, I apply this powder on it's own with a sponge. If my skin is a little bit on dry side or I don't want it to look too 'powdery.' I apply Mac Fix+ after.

If you have really oily skin, this powder can get quite oily at the end of the day. Just be careful and don't assume that because it's a powder, it will keep the oil at bay. I've seen girls wearing this powder and have shiny skin and pores that look craters! It also oxidises when mixed with the skin's oils.

A friend of mine actually uses this powder, then applies Kryolan Anti-Shine powder over the top and it looks great throughout the day. Yep, powder on top of powder. Hey it's makeup and as far as I'm concerned, it's what works, there are no rules.

This is my HG foundation. I have oily skin so I like to use something that doesn't leave me looking like there was an oil spill on my face by lunch. This does the trick. I like how there is a wide selection of shade choices so finding the right shade for you is a cinch. I used up a previous compact of this stuff and tried to find a drugstore dupe to no avail. I am usually a drugstore makeup kinda girl but this is worth the "splurge" for me. Makes my skin look flawless all day. I do have to touch up about once a day with this though. I was told once that you shouldn't use this to touch up your face but I use it for that purpose all the time and have never had an issue with caking. I use it with my Real Techniques buffing brush and it looks wonderful over a BB cream. Will continue to repurchase this great product.

Have been using this for a few months now, and I say it does great coverage. It does make my skin look flawless. I have oily skin and I personally think this is a perfect match as it gives me that perfect matte look more than any foundation I tried. However, living in a tropical country does make me sweat a lot, and I tend to do touch ups more often than usual which makes my face really really heavy.

Can't believe I discovered this only now! I had my doubts about this compact at first because I thought I bought the wrong shade (I'm an nc40), but found that throughout the day it sort of smoothens out to blend properly with my skin. It lasts for quite a while and gives my face a nice, even finish. I use it with my MAC concealer and between the two, my imperfections are hidden quite well for a good part of the work day.

I've had this stuff for years and I can't belive I have written a review yet. I really like this stuff. When I first bought this I used it as a setting powder Lol. But now its in my emergency make up kit! Since its so full coverage and fast to work with it perfect for when I'm running late to work or school! I use a costal scents powder buffer for this. If you use anything else like a sponge or that god awful puff it came with it will look cakey.

I can't live without this.You really need to play around with this one to see how good it is.Applied with the sponge properly it creates a flawless look. Applied with a brush you won't get any coverage.If this cakes on you, just apply a lighter moisturizer underneath and wait for it to dry so the product doesn't stick to it. I buff it in real good with the sponge and then spray with water and it looks flawless. I have many foundations because I'm a foundation junkie but this one beats them all and it's so quick and easy. IF you spray it with water or clinique moisture surge spray it leaves a satin finish.IF you're oily this will soak up oils.If you're dry just spray with water on top.Sometimes great products like this need to be experienced and properly applied to know how good it really is.My pores disappear with this completely.I just buff it in with the sponge provided.Work with it and see this could easily be the only foundation I own if I had to choose and I have way too many.

I wanted full coverage foundation I could keep in my purse and apply on the go to my extremely ruddy areas. They are so red that they are constantly very warm and eat my foundation, no matter what primer, foundation, or setting spray I use. I figured this had to be so popular for a reason and picked it up in my shade, NC15.

Turns out, my favorite way to use this is to apply it wet as my base layer. First I apply my regular silicone based primer. I mist my Urban Decay Optical Blurring Brush with plain water, swirl it in the powder, then brush it on like I would a liquid foundation. The result is absolutely flawless skin. NOTHING else gives me the same effect, and I do mean nothing. I have no pores, I have no wrinkles, I look like I simply won the genetic lottery and have perfect smooth radiant skin. It is BEAUTIFUL. I haven't found a con yet. I'm sure next week I will be like "how could I ever use MAC Fix Plus? This other thing is sooo much better" but for now this is my HG base layer. My boyfriend even agrees my skin looks spectacular with this on.

As a touch up in my purse it's excellent as well. I use a retractable kabuki and buff it as needed, then take a tiny mister of rosewater and glycerin and mist over it. The result is great! Redness is gone.

I have been using it for about 2 weeks now and haven't had any breakouts or irritation. I haven't slept in it and don't plan to.
