I tried this when I saw it on sale for a couple dollars, and it was AWFUL. The first thing I noticed when I put it on was the smell...at first it was like a heavy floral smell but when I put it on it smelled like burnt plastic. Not to mention is was sticky and oily and feltheavy and greasy on my skin even after I had packed on transluscent powder to try to counteract the greasiness. I ended up giving it to my mom who has very dry skin, maybe it will work better for her.

Sticky, sticky, sticky! It never seems to completely dry on my skin, and leaves a sticky feel. I do like the pump on the bottle, and I will likely use this from time to time just to use it up, but I won't repurchase. I was drawn in by the claim it makes your skin look 5 years younger, but as usual- just marketing hype. Also, in this product, color selection seems to run pinkish. Poor color selection- I can't imagine how any woman of color would begin to even find a suitable shade. My skin is changing- I am 35, and am having to try to find a new foundation. I will keep looking.

Oh no! This stuff not only did not blend well, but the smell was horrendous. I placed a little of it on my chin at the store and the rest of the day I was queasy from the smell.

I tried this because my daughter had tried it and said it had a little bit too much greasiness for her. I thought it would be just what I needed for my dry skin. However, this foundation seems to bring out the flakiness in my skin which I hate. It did not have nearly enough feel of moisture for me. Also, do not like the color. It seems to be the right shade but just not an appealing color for me.

I like the package, sleek & hygene. the texture is appealing to me too, a little rich for oil-skin but just right for my dry skin and I find it is easy to blend into my skin. I am happy with the coverage too, medium coverage not cakey. The only thing annoys me is the color range--i could barely find a color that matches my yellowish + beige Asian skin tone--i have to blend 2 different color to match my skin which i think is a little too much for everyday ...

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!! This drugstore foundation is very affordable and is simply amazing! It has amazing coverage and feels nice and smooth upon application. The colors are a bit hard to match on your skin which is the ONLY drawback. I've been using this for a month now and am incredibly impressed!!

I just bought this tonight and I'm not very happy. I'm fair skinned, and the lightest shade [soft ivory] is still too dark for me! It's very thin, so it feels very sheer and comfortable. If you wear this, you will also really need to have a good concealer to cover any impurities. For now, I guess I will stick with Loreal's infallible. That one is better in my opinion! Cover Girl never has a color for me!!

I am tired of playing the mineral foundation game, and I've never been a big fan of liquid or creme foundations but I thought I'd venture out. Riteaid drugstores are having a Cover Girl BOGO sale in my area so I bought a few different kinds of foundation for experiments. Last night, when I brought this and a few other things home, I tried out the foundation on one side of my face and Simply Powder on the other. This stuff seemed to dry before I'd even smoothed it out! I'm sure it's my lack of expertise, but this morning I mixed it about 1/2 and 1/2 with my Olay Complete moisturizer and applied with a foundation brush, then blended with a sponge while it was still damp so it wouldn't dry on me too soon. I am really pleased with the way it held up today - only light coverage because I thinned it down. I will say that when I put it on, it stung! It reminded me of the same stinging that I used to experience with a different sunscreen moisturizer (can't remember the name at the moment!) Anyway, I stuck it out and the sting went away in about 5 minutes - I'm almost positive that because this and my Olay has sunscreen, I created the sting myself. I'll try a different lotion tomorrow and see what happens - as for right now, I'm liking this foundation a lot.

Update: I am still really pleased with this foundation about six weeks later. I haven't had any unusual breakouts and it seems to last all day, kind of fades naturally. It smells a little funny, but nothing that lingers. I apply it mixed with moisturizer/sunscreen or just with a sponge, a light layer. Thumbs up!

I feel very mixed about this product. I love the feel and texture but am not completely happy with the coverage - I wish that it did a better job of evening out my skin tone. I also wish that Cover Girl would expand its range of colors - most of them are far too pink for me. I'm not sure if I'll purchase this again.

Excellent foundation. I have this is Ivory and it's just a smidge too dark and yellow for my skin, but it's summer now and it matches perfectly.

I read the reviews here and was hesitant to purchase it as so many foundations clog up my skin. It feels like it is loaded with silocone as it's so silky to apply, but it has no caused a single blackhead, whitehead or blemish (rare for me). The coverage is medium with a single layer and layers to almost full coverage if you apply another. I usually just use my fingers to spread this on but a stipling brush also works well.

It has a slightly luminous finish which I have always avoided due to my oily skin, but this just seems to 'set' well with oil. The skin looks so healthy and glowly, it's great.

It's $19.95 AU here ordinarily, but I got it as the grocery store for $16 on sale and will continue to repurchase it as my daytime foundation (I have 11 foundations in total, this is number 2 only after superfit). Light scent, not offensive though.
