Good product for my hair type. I have extremely thick long hair. My hair is also coarse with a wave and frizz. Many products seem to have no impact on my crazy hair. I have to say, I do like this glossing cream. I like using this when I let my hair air-dry because it gives my usual frizzy waves a nice gloss to them and really does calm down my frizzies. Because of my hair texture, I need a quarter sized amount instead of a pea sized amount. I've tried using a pea size and it did nothing. I am in love with the scent of this. It's a very slight herbal scent that makes me happy. The price is a bit $$$ for the amount of product you get which is the only downfall.
This works very well on my hair when I let it dry naturally curly/wavy. I haven't tried it yet on days where I straighten it, but I can't imagine it would hurt it in any way. It doesn't weigh my hair down and definitely helps to define my curls after running it though my hair. Definitely makes it feel soft and gives it a glossier appearance as well as less frizzies. A bit expensive, but if you buy the small trial size bottle it should last a while because you only use a tiny amount each time. Good stuff!!
I have shoulder-length 3B hair. After showering, I use a product called "Curl Keeper" and let my hair dry naturally. When it is about 2/3 dry, I flip my head over and work a kidney-bean-sized dollop into my hair, starting at the ends and then gathering all of my hair as if I were going to put it in a ponytail (still with my head upside down). I release my hair, fluff it from the roots, give it a shake or two and stand up...voila! any 'crispies' from my product are gone, my curls are intact and my hair is full and bouncy.
I've tried other creams, but this one gives my hands the 'slip' I need and makes my hair look wonderful. (p.s. The hair you see is dead. You can mistreat it and damage the cuticle or you can use products that smooth the cuticle down, but you can't feed or nourish something that's dead. It is what it is.)
I have really dry, frizzy, damaged hair that I style freaquently and this has put the shine back into my hair. I love this stuff! It makes my hair Glossy and Shiny and smooth to the touch. The only complaint I have about this product is that it is not a hair protector so I always have to pair this up with something else but its so worth it. It usually last a long time but now I got my mom and my sisters using this stuff so I'm buying this really frequently. It doesn't leave my hair as oily as when I put hair oil on, it leaves my hair with a bounce ;) I love this stuff!
I have tried so many products and this makes my list of products i would buy again. My hair 'in real life' as i say, is very kinky curly, frizzy, thick but fine hair. I blow it out almost always as i dont think i would dare wear it out au natural ever...in the rain i default to a slick back doo. Anyway, this is a great quality blow dry cream. If you dont want to spring for the large bottle right away, in Duane Reade they sell the 'travel size' for around $10 bucks. Even the small bottle will last you a long time.
This product does nothing for my 4b relxed hair.
It didn't make it shiny
It didn't help control firzz
It didn't make it moisturised
The ingredients in this product can be found in your normal drug store products. This product is full of cones which do nothing more than try and make your hair feel good and don't provide any nourishing properties at all. With this product your just paying for the name brand as opposed to a fantastic product.
Will sell mine remaining tube on ebay and will not be purchasing again.
This stuff is amazing! It makes my hair glossy without weighing it down or making it appear greasy. You're only supposed to be using a pea-sized amount, which makes the price pretty reasonable. Would buy again.
I have thick medium-dry wavy hair and this product helps weigh down my frizzy top layers and control the dryness even in the dead of winter. I first experimented with this product in the summer and it seemed to help with the drying from the pool as well. In general, I add this product about midway though the length of my hair because that's where I have the most trouble with dryness and it acts as a leave in conditioner. Then, I take what's left of it and smooth out the top layer to smooth out any lingering fly aways.
This came in the set and I thought the combination of all three was making my hair look fantastic, but when I ran out of the shampoo and conditioner, I continued to use it before blow drying and discovered that no matter what shampoo I used, it was this cream that consistently made my hair look thick, shiny, and soft. I have long, thick black Asian hair, so it's easy for my hair to look dull or greasy, but after washing and towel drying my hair, I use a dime-sized dollop in my palms then run through my hair from the roots up, then blow dry. It definitely doesn't make my hair stick-straight or completely devoid of frizz, but it gives it a very natural and healthy look. I very rarely buy hair products and hardly ever style my hair, but I've bought the set twice mostly for the cream. The set is about $20-$25, I think, and it looks like the full-sized cream on its own is almost $20! I think I'll continue to buy the set because the small size still lasted me over a year and I used it about 2-3 times a week.
I like this. Give my hair really nice shine and I only have to use the tiniest bit. But that's all it does. It doesn't de-frizz my hair or make it softer or anything, just makes it shiny, which is nice, but not nice enough for how pricey it is. It's also very easy to make my hair look greasy if I use even a little to much of the product, and my hair isn't even think or anything. If I skip the shower one day then I have to avoid using it cause it'll make my hair look to greasy. Overall, it does make my hair look nice and healthy, but I don't think it actually helps to make it healthy, and it's to greasy with my hair. I would buy it again if it was cheaper just for the shine I get out of it.
