This is a great lightweight serum that sinks into my hair instantly and doesn't weigh it down or feel greasy. I've used it on wet hair before I blow dry and on dry hair before I flat iron or just to smooth flyaways. My hair is shiny and silky everytime I use it and it doesn't build up. It's a little expensive but you only need a small amount. My favorite Aveda Stying product!

Fanstatic product. I have fine hair and I can put this stuff on when I'm wearing it curly (I have a slight wave that gets curly with diffusing) and it doesn't weigh it down at all, just smooths it out. Also a great thing to put on before and after flat ironing.

Love this! Have to have it everyday when I blow dry my hair. Makes my hair dry a lot faster and I get soft, shiny, never greasy hair! Wonderfull product. Seems like you don't get a lot for your money, but you don't need a lot of the product. Lasts me a few months.

I love this stuff. I have been using it since it came out. I usually use it after I have blow dried my hair to get ready of frizzies and keep it smooth and shiny. A little goes a long way and it has a very nice smell.

I've been using this product for about 6 months and i love it for my med/fine long Hair. I use 2 pumps of this serum on wet hair then 1 on my air dried hair to smooth ends. I also love the lavender scent. I always steered clear of these type of products until Aveda came out with this one. I received it as a sample when I purchased some other products from their salon.

To my surprise it was not at all like other similar products I'd used in the past. This products leaves my hair smooth with great shine and it only takes the tiniest amount! It's not heavy, doesn't weigh the hair down and has a nice scent. I use it when I flat iron or rollerset my hair.

This is a great shine serum that does not weigh your hair down. I use it before I flat iron my hair, then take about one more pump when I am finished styling and spread it evenly through my hair to add even more shine. I have been getting a lot of compliments on my hair since using this. I am always looking for the BEST products for my thick, wavy, and slightly coarse hair. I believe the best feature is the shine it adds to my hair. I would give it 5 lippies but I have decided that although this is great stuff, I like the Brilliant Emollient finishing gloss a little better for frizz and humidty control. I think this is great for all hair types though.

Nice finishing product, doesn't weigh my fine hair down. Pricy but you don't need to use a lot so it will last for awhile. The only reason I won't rebuy is because I'm now cone free.

I love this little serum. Very versatile. I've used it 3 ways: 1.) 1-2 pumps on wet hair followed by a blowout leaves me with soft, super shiny straight hair without weighing it down at all; 2.) It doesn't provide much hold, so if I want to curl my hair I use something else (gel or mousse) to blowout. But I stop when about 75% dry and add a pump to just the ends, and finish drying. This helps keep the ends healthy and wards off frizzies. 3.) Using the tiniest bit on my fingertips I can smooth down flyaways or any raggedy-looking ends that escaped the first application. Although avoid the roots when possible - or else it will make them look a little greasy. Overall, I love it!!!! And don't let the price deter you; I've used this a few times a week for almost a year and have barely made a dent in the bottle. A little goes such a long way that it'll last you forever. Highly recommended!

This has become my new HG hair product. I had been an Extra Strength Frizz Ease devotee for years, but after i tried a sample of this Smoothing Fluid, i quickly converted. This serum is magic in a bottle. It's extremely light and "natural" in both feel and look, yet it is extremely effective at fighting frizz. My hair is long, thick, curly, and slightly coarse. When i apply this to my hair and let it air dry, the result is natural yet defined curls. I usually straighten my hair from a curly state, so all i do is run a little more Smoothing Fluid through my dry hair and then straighten with a flat iron. This leaves my hair straight, smooth, and shiny, even in humid weather. Another plus about this product is a little goes a loooong way, so it seems to last forever. And since it's Aveda, it's purer and uses more natural ingredients than most products available on today's market.
