This is an amayzingly versatile highlighter/base/pearly base/ANYTHING shadow. Pair it with any color and you would get a smashing combo (bitter, woodwinked, satin taupe, electric eel, expensive pink...ANYTHING!). Simply gorgeous, creamy, pigmented, finely milled, provides a great natural looking sheen. I even use this as cheek highlighter sometimes, mixing with a cream.
Finally I've found an opponent to MAC Shroom! I've used Shroom as a face highlighter for so long, and even though I absolutely love it I've wanted something less champagne and more pure gold. And there was Nylon! How could I have missed it?
With my ultra fair skin (N5-N10) most highlighters leave a trace of colour on the face, and not just a tinted sheen if you know what I mean. Basically - they're all too dark. Nylon is the perfect whitened gold for us pale girls with a strong love for intense cheekbone highlighters.
Here's a picture of me wearing it.

I got thisfor an actual look I was going for that I needed this coor for. And normally I would not buy it, but now I love it!! It worked perfectly for what I got it for but it's now one of my favorite eye shadows. It's great to just add a little bit of shimmer on your lid, but also works great as a under your brow highlighter or just to put shome shimmer on the inner corners of your eyes! This will be one I'll keep using for years to come!!
I had seen Pixiwoo use this as a nice highlight in many looks, so I had to pick it up! NC30 with olive undertones, it was a bit greener than I expected...but lovely nonetheless! I just happen to prefer warmer undertones. Beautiful pigmentation and blends like a dream.
Sure, the color is gorgeous, but oh my God, the reaction my skin had! I guess I just can't use any MAC products at all. Their foundation, powders, and blushes make me break out horribly (and immediately!). I thought that my skin would be OK with their eyeshadow, but when a makeup artist used this on me before a photoshoot, the skin around my eyes and on my lids turned bright red, swelled up, and BURNED. It was like she had rubbed acid on my eyes! I've never had a reaction to any other eyeshadow, in the 17 yrs that i've been wearing makeup!
I don't know what in the hell MAC puts in their products, but if you have sensitive skin, be careful with this shadow!!!!
My holy grail of eyeshadows. This color really makes your eyes POP. It looks yellow in the tin, but goes on more white-ish. I use it in the inner corners (top and bottom), then use carbon in my crease and top it off with Bare Escentuals queen Phyllis (also a sparky whitish yellow), and then dab on just a tad of Mac's "reflects gold" glitter for sparkle. Strangers come up to me all the time and compliment my eyes. Nothing else but nylon seems to compare! <3 nylon!! Stays forever too. continued >>

Received this in a swap and I just adore it, it gives a perfect sheen that almost looks 'wet'. It's perfect as an under brow highlight, inner corner of eye highlight and if you're feeling brave even a cheek highlight.
The colour is flattering to my pale skintone and its staying power is good on top of a primer although sometimes it creases into my wrinkles a bit if I wear it on the inner corner of my eye.
This is the first piece of MAC I purchased and I love it! I went into a local department store to discover they had a MAC counter, I was SO excited! I told one of the ladies I was looking for a highlite and she directed me to this one saying it would work well with my skin tone. That is exactly what I needed, I had been looking for so long to find a highlighter in a drug store it was helpless! I am so happy I got this product! Def. a MAC addict from now on!
i use this for below my eyebrows a s ahighlighter it works really well also looks good under darker eyeshadows to brighten them up a bit
PERFECT inner corner color to brighten up the eyes. I only use it for that purpose so this is going to last me forever. Its buttery smooth & no fall out, as are most MAC frost eyeshadows. I would describe this as a frosty pale white gold with yellow undertones. So pretty! I've also used this as a cheek highlight and it photographs very well. However, I still prefer my NARS albatross for everyday use as it is more natural. continued >>
