I love this cleansing gel. I have combination oily skin and have a few pimples every now and then, and it has been gentle for my skin. I guess those with dry skin might find this a bit drying, but it did not dry my skin out at all, even though my U-zone tends to be drier than my T-zone. It has a citrus scent, which I really like. You need to make sure you use warm water to get this thing to lather up. I find that it lathers up rather well in the showers, so I usually use this in the morning (I use a foaming cleanser in the evening). After having used this the whole summer, I still have a good half bottle left, and my skin seems more radiant - I guess the ingredients are doing their job of clearing away dead and dry skin! It is on the expensive side, but I think a bottle goes a long way, so I'm pretty happy.

I didnt like this at all. Ive been using Dior and Estee lauder gel cleansers and those have been really good for my combo skin, (I have very dry forehead but oily nose area/chin) But this was just awful. It left me extremely dry, but when i say extremely i mean it :( My face felt so tight and dehydrated...i used this a few more times but same thing and i cant have my skin in that condition cos of some stupid cleanser so i threw it out. Also I have somewhat sensitive skin, and a little redness around my nose and this cleanser made the redness really flare up and my cheeks were bright red. Just horrible product.
Overall, this product was definitely NOT for me! I'm an older gal with somewhat sensitive dry skin. I have used many glycolic acid cleansers in the past, from very inexpensive to more expensive ones, but I've had very few that gave me the results that this one did. It really dried my skin out (yes, the packaging DOES say if you have dry skin, only use it like once every 3 days, but...), and at the same time, gave me like a like an oily look after only a few hours. I don't know if this was my skin's reaction to the product's irritation, or some ingredient in the product that was causing this. Even after basically "diluting" this cleanser with my old Clinique mild standby, the same results. My advice is if you REALLY want to try this product, get like a 2 week sample first. Definitely NOT for me.
I got this as a sample. I didn't use it right away when I got it, I didn't think that I'd need it. After I ran out of the DDF-BP Gel, my face became oily, and I looked on this bottle and it was oil free, so I decided to try it out to see if it would control the oil on my face. The first time I used it, I really liked it. It made my skin feel smooth. I have oily, acne-prone skin, and it took away the oil, but about 2 hours after using it, my face became oily again, even more oily than before. I used it in the morning and at night, just for a few days and started using something else to control the oil on my face.
WOW. I'm also suprised more people aren't impressed. Use sparingly! twice in the evening to thoroughly remove makeup. great when alternated with a scrub in the morning. my mum also uses this. i'm combo. prone to breakouts. i continue to repurchase. smells nice too
It removes all my makeup but It makes my skin very dry, looks dehydrated and wrinkly and it breaks me out. I had to return it and the lady from sephora told me that i was supposed to use it only once a week for deep cleaning. Not for me !!!
So, I've been reading the review on this and I'm soo surprised that not everyone is in love with this product like I am!!! I have been using this for over a year, once a day and am still on the same bottle. So yes, it can be pricey but well worth it since it's lasted so long. My routine is to use a tiny bit to wash off all my makeup and then a tiny bit again to really get the benefits of the product. I know like it sounds like a lot but it really isn't since I don't use a big glob of product the first time around.
In any case, it does a great job with keeping the oil in check on my skin, as far as anti-aging.....not too sure yet. I'm 29 and have very few wrinkles if any, my main purpose for using this is it's exfoliating factors and keeping my skin oil-free!
I've been using this product for over a year now. It's marketed as Anti-Aging so I guess I'll let you know in 20 years if the marketing was accurate. Anywho, using this in conjunction with my Clarisonic really makes my skin squeaky clean without overstripping my skin of it's natural oils. I think it's a fair value as a little goes a long way and a bottle can last me 6 or 7 months (using it 2x/day).

I got this product as a sample from Sephora and used it for three days before tossing it. It dried my skin out very badly and caused my rosacea to flare up worse than it has in years! I haven't used anything else on my skin out of the ordinary, so I don't know what else I could attribute it to. It has a great scent (sort of peachy), but leaves my face extremely dry afterwards and I have naturally oily skin, so that's saying something.
