I cannot believe I spent almost $16.00 on this eyeliner. I bought this because I love brown eyeliners and I absolutely love my MAC powerpoint in Permaplum (a beautiful blackish purple color - I HIGHLY recommend this shade). What a disappointment Stubborn Brown was. This eyeliner is just a basic brown -- absolutely nothing special about its color at all (not that brown is exciting, but for $16.00 I was expecting to be "wowed"). You can get the same effect by using a cheaper brand like Styli-style's semi-perm eyeliner.
Another very disappointing thing about this eyeliner is that it does NOT apply to the waterline ... why, I have no idea.
I gave it 3 stars because it does glide on really smooth (which is definitely nice) and it does last on the lid. However, there are many other eyeliners that can do the same. Overall, I'd say skip this one.
Stubborn Brown is a true simple dark brown eye liner that shows up on NC43 skintones. This shade is much darker than bouniful brown and is better for my skintone.
LOVE IT. BUT - it is so soft and needs sharpened so often that it does not last very long. Other than that it is a fantastic product. However, because of what I said before I switched to Technicolor Liner in Brownborder.
Love this. the shade is perfect and application is easy. soft cremey pencil with nice lasting power.
This eyeliner does not have the staying power that fluidline gel eyeliner has so I use it if I'm not going to be out for a long time or if I'm in a hurry. It's goes on smoothly and easy to apply but it does smudge. It doesn't irritate my eyes when used on my waterline.
This is an awesome brown liner! I had been using Covergirl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner in a brown color but it smudged like CRAZY so i decided to try this after hearing good things about it on Youtube. I love this liner as it is a very true dark brown that goes on super smoothly and doesn't smudge! Definitely recommend=]
Stubborn Brown is the perfect brown shade for my skin, and eyes. It's not too red toned or taupe. These powerpoint liners have better staying power on me than UD 24/7 liners. This is definitely my favorite brown liner ever.
This eyeliner smudges after 8 hours or so even though I use a primer on my eyelids. The color is nice, and it goes on very smoothly, but b/c it is so soft, it's very hard to get it to sharpen to a point. I've tried a Clinique eyeliner pencil (Chocolate?) that is a similar color and stays on a bit better. I wouldn't buy this product again.

I am a eye pencil freak, I noticed this when I opened my traincase that consists mostly of a collection on eye pencils. I didn't have any MAC so I bought this one to start a basic collection.
Stubborn Brown is a creamy dark brown similar to an espresso brown. It contains no golden undertones nor red tones, just straight brown. What I like about this pencil is that it is creamy and stays put. Of course your mileage may vary, but I find this one to be the most water resistant of all the pencils I have tried. For tightlining, I use a brush to apply between the lashes. For eyelining, I can use the pencil itself or for a precise line I use my Cinema Secrets #2 filbert by brushing the tip onto the pencil point then apply onto my lashline. On the waterline, I use somewhat of a dull point for a comfortable application.
Since the formula is more of a silicone mixed w/ wax, the texture can feel slightly dry on some lids since the silicone does dry to allow a budge proof finish. If you are really sensitive to this, I suggest skipping this pencil. Also, in the winter time, the pencil may not easily glide on as it does in the warm weather months, so keep this in mind if you buy it during the cold season and find the texture not to your liking. Try it during the warm months. As for the pigment, it is highly pigmented and provides a true color when applied. Nice pencil to my ever expanding collection.

Love this! I can't believe I waited so long to try the Powerpoints! I like them so much better than the kohls. They go on super smooth, and stay on all day. Stubborn brown is so perfect. I like that it is not too light, and also it's not too much of a warm brown.
