this is not that bad. if u apply it to ur upper lid, it works! since the function of this eye gel is for puffiness so it wont work for ur dark circle or wrinkle. i apply it on my upper lids and it smoothes my lids and my lids look not that puffy. and 10 dollars is a very cheap price for eye treatment.
The gel feels cool and smooth around my eyes, and the great thing is I can use this as a moisturizer base for my eye makeup!
This is a very ordinary product. If you live in Australia, Natio make a daytime eye gel which costs about half the price for more product and comes in a sanitary tube rather than a little jar. Elderflower eye gel is fairly watery, the cooling effects are temporary and a good aloe vera gel kept in the fridge would do just as well. I think the Body Shop only keep this on for younger people who don't have any problems with their eye area and who therefore find the temporary cooling effect is enough for when they are tired or their eye area is slightly irritated. For the rest of us, something more substantial is needed.
This works so well FOR WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES! It really does "cool"--feels much better than just an ice pack or damp cloth--and it helped make my eyes look more open and refreshed. Like other reviewers below, it did nothing for dark circles, but it doesn't at all claim that it will, not even close! Always remember to not expect things to happen when it's not listed on the package, since they never under-exaggerate ;P
This is a great cheap eye gel for overall under eye care. I don't have many wrinkles, have no problem with dark circles or puffiness, so maybe I'm not the one to ask, but I think this works great. I have used it off and on for years in the morning. It is absorbed well and doesn't cause my eye makeup to slide.
Wow,this product is somewhat popular, maybe I should try it again. I used an entire tub of it...It did nothing for me, it was sticky and uncomfortable... Odd.
this is a great product although not a rich cream its perfect against puffiness
i had a bad reaction to some eyeshadows twice i literally looked like a boxer that got hit my eyes were puffy red and itching ...i used this eyegel and the itching stopped right away the redness and the puffiness were gone the next day
since then i have bought it several times i still use a richer eye cream for moisturizing and the fine lines but this one is a keeper for sure
I used this a few years ago and I didn't like it at all, but maybe I just wasn't using it for what it was meant for. I was looking more for a rich moisturizing eye cream to take away fine lines and prevent wrinkles, and I didn't notice any difference in that with this cream. It tightened the skin and had a cooling effect, but that wasn't what I was looking for. Probably a good gel if you want something to tighten and firm your eye area and calm, soothe and cool and refresh, but it definitely is not a moisturizer.
One of the Body Shop classics. A great thing to keep in the refrigerator at all times, just in case. It's a light gel, to pat around the eyes, and is super refreshing. Great after a day at a computer. The small tub lasts for a very long time. Many other companies make similar refreshing gels, but IM humble O this is the best. And one of the cheapest. The other best and cheapest is St Ives Cucumber & Elastin gel.
Best kept chilled; another tip - precede this with cold teabags. Take two teabags: of the round variety and containing normal caffeinated black tea; either old pre-used ones or fresh. Run them under the cold tap, so they are cold and wet. Place on closed eyes, and keep them there for about 5 minutes. Remove, and pat the elderflower gel around eyes. Even more refreshment.
Note: this is an eye gel, for soothing and tightening; it's not a moisturising cream. At all.
Costs around EUR 7.50 / GBP 5.00 / USD 8.50.

This is a great product for calming eyes and reducing puffiness! I don't use it to fix dark circles etc, but it does a great job when your eyes are tired or irritated. Reasonably priced too!
