After using this for about 2 months, I can confidently write a postiive review. I must admit that initially I was not impressed at all. My face felt greasy and I didn't think it was going to work that well, but after a few weeks of use I have a completely different opinion.
I can't sing praises about how this product 'blurs' your imperfections. For me, it is just a good primer/SPF. I have acne scarring, hyperpigmentation and some larger pores to deal with. I can't claim that this product did anything for those issues, except may be the large pores. For the most part, it provided an even canvas to apply powder foundation during the hot summer months.
I didn't break out from this, and I usually break out from everything. I found out that less is more, so I use only a small pea-sized amount because otherwise you'll end up with a greasy mess.
This is one of those products that's either loved or hated. Well, I happen to love it! It is a pre-makeup primer that blurs pores and smooths skin. Think of it that way and it won't be confusing of how to apply it.
I'm always looking for good primers to blur out my pores. I have been extremely disappointed by several high-end primers with ridiculous price tags for a tiny amount that do not deliver results. One in particular was a total expensive flop.
I first tested this out on the back of my hand and compared with my other hand. WOW, what a difference! The primed hand definitely had a blurred and perfected finish. This delivered the same great results when I applied it to my face. Huge difference in pore visibility and slight wrinkles around my eyes and forehead. Even after applying makeup this looked great and I had no problem with this accentuating pores and wrinkles. No makeup-separation or oilness hours later either! This is a great win for me. Yes, this is more expensive than most L'oreal products but, for something that works, it is still less than the typical minimum price of $30 for most HE primers. And it seems like there's always coupons for it too. Points for L'oreal on this one!
This product didn't work very well. It assent really worth the money. I do like that it has SPF though.
Picked up a sample of this based on advertising that seemed to imply it really was a miracle worker product. It is not.
I've used several 'cone-based primers with good results, but this did nothing. And I don't mean the effects were minimal -- I mean I literally could not see any difference at all. I even tested it on one half of my face so I could compare it directly. Nothing.
Now, I'm fortunate to have pretty good skin to begin with (no wrinkles, very few pores or discoloration patches), so I thought maybe it just was intended for people with more serious issues. So I did a similar test on my upper chest, where I do have some noticeable shallow wrinkles. Again... nothing.
I'm glad some people found this useful, but I can't think of anyone who would benefit from this.
I was really excited to try this product as a primer, but it definitely disappointed. It made me break out after using it for two days. It also did little to control oil, although it didn't seem to make me any oilier. I really liked the high SPF and the feel of it on the skin, but you need to use an awful lot of product to cover your face, and even if it didn't break me out, I don't think it's worth the price. Also, I have acne scars and noticed no "blurring" at all, although I'm not 100% what the intended result is supposed to be anyway. I definitely don't recommend this product.
I received this product as a free sample in the mail. I have always used Smashbox photo finish primer. I put the Revitalift Miracle Blur on before I applied my makeup. It has thick consistency, but it still had a velvety feel to it. It did a wonderful job smoothing out my fine lines and reducing the appearance of my pores. I felt that it did a better job than the Photo Finish I have always used and will be switching to it. I
This primer works good for my skin. I have been using everyday for 3 months and have finally run out. I bought because of the sunscreen factor, not to keep my makeup longer. Although I did notice getting about 2 extra hours with my foundation. I've never found a regular sunscreen that works under makeup only primers with sunscreen. I shake this up and squeeze enough for my face and down my neck. This seems to fill in some lines and pores a little but not where you look like a doll. I have found this works well with Nars sheer glow and L'oreal Lumi foundation. It was a disaster with Tarte BB cream. The only negative is that it says you can wear over moisturizer and I couldn't find one that worked with this. I've had to wear only on clean skin. That works for spring and summer, but will not work for colder months. I'd buy this again.
I received a sample of revitalift miracle blur in the mail. And it was simply wonderful! It feels like velvet on my face and so satiny smooth! My face felt better than ever!~ I will buy this and recommend it to family and friends! Thanks for the sample!
I was excited when I got my sample in the mail, but that quickly changed once I opened it. It has the consistency of chapstick. I still went ahead and put it on, but didn't really notice any difference. I like L'Oreal products and use their color correcting primer, which I think does a way better job (and less pricey) than this stuff.
I just got a sample of this in the mail and love it! I was surprised to see some negative reviews, because I just feel like this product is awesome. It has a very thick texture, and most definitely smoothed away my fine lines and wrinkles. It was like Photoshop, minus the computer. Very happy about this, did exactly what it said it would. I would highly recommend it for visibly reducing the appearance of fine lines.
