I did not like this concealer. It did not cover well and it wore off quick.
I have this concealer in the color Beige. I find that if I want to cover redness around my nose and slight darkness on my eyes, this concealer works amazingly. On days where I don't want to wear much of anything I will use a bit of the concealer around my eyes, nose and chin. A little goes a long way. The pigmentation for this concealer is amazing given the price isn't that expensive at all. It really does a great job at covering redness...so if you have a blemish that is healing and is a bit red, it will virtually hide it.
The only problem I have with this concealer is that they don't have a wide color selection. If you can actually find a color to match your skin tone it will be worth it to try out. This is my second tube of this concealer and I will most likely keep buying it sense it is very inexpensive and goes a long way,
NYX in CW01 Porcelain.
This is my HG concealer. I'm NW10 with freckles, and this creamy concealer works perfectly under the eyes and in the areas I need extra coverage. It's easy to blend into the the skin and creases very little.
It's been very hard for me to find a creamy wand concealer that is light enough but still looks natural. Most are not light enough, and the lightest ones end up looking like a blue-toned white on me. I was really surprised at how lovely this concealer looks on my skin. Light enough to work as a highlighter under the eyes but still a natural flesh tone.
On the days when I don't want to wear much makeup, I dab a bit of this concealer on under my eyes and blend it out with my fingers. Here is where I notice the benefits of the HD finish the most. As it dries, it goes from a cream to a powder-like finish that actually looks like skin. And it doesn't get too dry or settle into fine lines.
I really do feel like this concealer rivals high end brands of creamy/HD concealers. For less than $5, it doesn't get better than this.
As I have gotten older I have found that flesh toned concealers just don't cut it for dark circles under my eyes any longer. This lavender concealer is fabulous. Not only does it work but is inexpensive. This has been a great addition to my makeup routine and would recommend to anyone wanting to cover dark spots or give some brightness under their eyes.
I really do not know where all the rave is at! I got the yellow color concealer because of all the hype and I have some dark circles but not severe dark circles. I layered this twice to brighten the area and it absolutely did nothing. It is just too sheer. I even used another normal skin toned concealer over it and you can definitely still see my dark circles. I am seriously thinking of returning this but i think this would be great for slight highlighting around the face over foundation but not under foundation or under another concealer.
I just bought my second one of these. this is the fastest out the door product i can use on my skin to look presentable. i don't think it's quite full coverage since while it does make my skin look pretty good it doesn't fully cover my dark circles and really fresh acne scars. i have dry skin and this doesn't dry out my skin but i HAVE to apply it after moisturizer. even the lightest moisturizer will work. it doesn't get oily on me but it does seem to transfer a little onto my phone skin. it doesn't have an odor to me and the consistency is creamy leaning more to liquid. it doesn't get cakey at all. i applied it after a layer of salmon concealer, two layers of revlon colorstay whipped foundation to cover those really stubborn scars and i did not look cakey at all. i blended it with a dry beauty blender and then with my hands and fingers really patted it onto my skin. i should probably try blending with a wet beauty blender but i think the coverage would be the same. i don't know if it lasts all day since on me NOTHING seems to last all day except very few rare occasions when it's not melting or freezing outside. i set it with the elf hd powder and it still looks like skin. it photographs great like any hd product claims. overall i love it and will continue using it. you can almost get all the product out in the end which is the only tiff i have with the packaging but its way better than some other concealer packaging
I pucked this up at Ulta today and I got this concealer in the shade Yellow. I absolutely love this stuff. This brightens up my under eyes really well! I even use this as a highlighter. I am definitely repurchasing this. Nothing has brightened up my face like this before. Provides some coverage too. Absolutely AMAZING.
I am forever searching for good concealers to cover my undereye circles. This one is a keeper! It goes on light & creamy, not greasy at all. It lasts a long time and has just enough coverage to cover my circles without looking heavy. I did not notice any odor at all. The price is just an overall bonus! Love it!
NYX in Fair - I have been on the hunt for the perfect concealer for about a year now. I have had quite dark circles under my eyes due to heredity, and was using MAC studio finish in NW 25 for years, I was tanner back then though. I still like and use studio finish, but my nw 20 is still too dark for the triangle/highlighting application technique I've been into and rather than just buying a lighter shade I've been branching out a bit and trying different brands lately.
I was really excited when I saw all of the rave reviews, and I looove NYX lip products:) I purchased the NYX concealer in Fair because I've been really into the triangle/highlighting application and I thought this was about two shades lighter than my skin. I wasn't expecting miracles for such a low price, but I was surprised at how awful my under eye area looked with this on! I found this concealer to be much sheerer than I had been expecting, it was somewhere between light and medium. So while it did cover most of my skin in the triangle, the darker parts of the under eye circles (inner 1/2) were totally visible. While I do like my concealer to be lighter than my foundation I think that Fair may still have been a little too light? which was my mistake, but the shade was just..disturbing on my warm skin tone lol. It looked unnatural.
So, with the too cool shade making me look sea sick/deathly, and the dark inner corners showing through, it was pretty clear that this concealer was not made for me!! I think that for those with cooler skin tones who do not have major under eye darkness but are concerned about fine lines this could work, because the texture was smooth and it didn't settle into fine lines, just too sheer for me. My battle against the dilemma of needing the fullest level of coverage without creasing, caking, settling continues!
It's cheap and has great coverage and looks good in picture.
