I do like this product a lot, however it is very drying and if you add lip gloss it dissolves the product and makes it more gooey and comes off so easily. Also after a couple of hours it seems to flake and I am constantly checking to make sure it doesn't look patchy.

Overall, it is good. Better than most I have tried, much better than Superstay 24 hour which seems to have the same effect! the 14 hour have better colours and pigmentation but the feel of the dry lips is something you have to get used to if you want this product to last.

A little on the expensive side as well! but quite worth it. Catch it on offer, 3 for 2 or buy one get one half price...makes you feel 'slightly' better for splurging on yet another make up product.

I have this lipstick in Keep Me Coral. I really do not like the packaging, it is hard to open and not attractive. The color seems really pale when you put it on and then becomes overly bright and has a lot of sparkles in it which is not fantastic to me. The product itself with the texture is very drying and while it does have staying power, the color fades quickly and sticks your lips together. I don't recommend it to girls with bigger lips who don't like bright lipsticks.

I wanted to try this lipstick out after seeing a video by Lisa Eldridge on heat proof makeup, and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. While I agree with the comments below about the lipstick being drying, I naturally have really dry lips anyway (I was on Roaccutane for a long time and dry lips are a permanent side effect), however, I didn't find this lipstick to be much more drying than some of the richer Estee Lauder lipsticks I've used in the past, for example. I regularly apply lip balm throughout the day anyway, and I find that this gives the lipstick a nice shine.

The staying effects of this lipstick are actually pretty impressive. I went to the gym and frequently stopped to drink water, and as I left, one of my friends asked if I'd just applied my lipstick, and the truth was I hadn't even touched it up since leaving my house in the morning! I have this lipstick in Stay with me Coral which is a great summer shade, very vibrant and fun. I've posted a picture of the colour after I'd applied it in the images at the top.

There's no way you can complain at the price of this lipstick. What it lacks in moisturising properties (which can easily be corrected with a swipe of gloss) it more than makes up for in terms of colour & staying power. Not all big brand lipsticks are worth the money you pay. Some are all style and no substance, whereas I think most would feel that they got a pretty good deal with this one. Granted the packaging isn't brilliantly fancy. It's not going to be a show piece like EL's golden bullets, but this is clean, convenient and serves its purpose really well.

Fantastic staying power
Nice colours
Excellent value for money
Applies well, but not as smoothly as some moisturising lipsticks

Lack of moisturising ingredients
Let's be honest, it's never going to last the full 14 hours, but does a really good job at lasting several hours without touch up even when eating and drinking

The bottom line is if you're looking for a long lasting, vibrant lipstick which you don't mind pairing with some gloss or lip balm, then go for it. It's a great little addition to anyone's makeup bag and it won't break the bank. I've already repurchased.

n.b.I would rate this 3.5 lippies overall and 2.5 lippies for packaging.

When i first saw these lipsticks i thought, wow they look horrible. The packaging is, at first, very off putting. It's very unconventional but now i've grown used to it. I bought one after watching Lisa Eldridge talk about how long lasting they were in one of her videos. Since then I've bought 2 more. I have Pout It Pink, Kiss Me Coral and Enduring Ruby. I love them all!

Opaque! Great colour payoff
Smooth, easy to apply
Very long lasting
Decent price, unless you live in Australia like myself (wait for it to go on sale)

Dries up, you'd definitely regret not wearing a lip balm underneath
Has a very strong smell, reminds me of sherbet (i dont mind it but i know others do)
Weird, unattractive packaging

I was disappointed with this product. I got it in 'non stop red'. I thought I was getting a bright bold matt lipstick. Instead I got a clumpy tint that was really sticky and glossy. The texture is favourable at all unless you like your lips superglued together. This product isn't for me but, i think it's because my lips are very plump . On smaller lips and pale or lighter skin, it may work but for me I really regret purchasing it and I should've tried before I bought.

Aside from not seeing the small crack in the top :( hence the low package score, but no major deal, I got this at Kmart in the shade Perpetual Peony. I don't normally buy drugstore brands as they are often similarly priced as MAC lipsticks and don't deliver. I don't own any other lippies in this shade... It's a very very cool toned matte pale pink with a tinge of lavender even. It is slightly similar to MAC viva glam gaga but more lavender-y. That's what roped me in since I basically have every color of the rainbow. The color's gorgeous and so summery :) it looks very good w my cool toned pinky light/med skin and red hair... Itd prob suit many skin tones. The formula is kinda odd but in a good way. It goes on real slick like a gloss but then when it dries it is ON THERE. All the other matte lipsticks I own that claim to be long wearing are dry upon application; when I first put it on it was so wet I said no way is this gona last. So then that peculiar drying effect happens and the color MAY lose a slight dab of intensity but still basically stays true. I loooove matte long wearing lippies and I highly recommend this one, esp in this shade. So perfect for a pretty, subtle yet noticeable summer daytime go-to. Although I will definitely be trying one or two other shades!!

Love, Love, Love this lipstick! I purchased "Non-Stop Red" and I cannot believe how long lasting this colour is- I cant speak for the rest of the range. I too bought this because of a recommendation by Lisa Eldridge and have worn it every day since purchased! I have those kind of lips which lipstick just doesn't cling too and I gave up buying bolder colours for a while. However, really impressed with this product!

I have to say that although the packaging for these lipsticks is ugly and looks cheap, the product itself is anything but. These are little pigment powerhouses! One swipe provides full coverage and the application is smooth. They wear quite comfortably and the color stays true throughout the day.

Plus, there are some really gorgeous colors. Especially the red shades. Theyíve got you covered whether you like warm reds (Ravishing Rouge), true reds (Continuous Cranberry), cool reds (Enduring Ruby), or deep reds (Timeless Crimson).

The colors I chose were Infinite Iris; a mid tone cool plummy pink, Consistently Truffle; a deep plum tinged cool brown , and Enduring Ruby; a cool, rich red. Both Infinite Iris and Consistently Truffle have just a touch of shimmer. The most Iíve seen these cost is $8.99, but I can almost always find either a coupon, or a place with a buy one get one half off deal. That works out to an average of about $6.75 per tube. Not bad!

Although Iove all three, it has to be said that none of them last 14 hours. Not even close. I find the best way to make them last is use a lip brush and really work it into the lips. But even then I didnít get any more than 8 hours of wear, and thatís if I didnít have an actual meal. Plus Iím really not fond of the fruity smell these have, but it fades within minutes, so I wouldnít deduct any points for it.

All in all, this product performs fantastically for the price. I would definitely purchase these again.

The packaging is cute especially compared to the regular maybelline lipsticks... i like it that i can see the color of the lipstick without turning it around.

its not expensive, thats a bonus.

The color i got is LASTING CHESTNUT. the color is lovely, but like most matte lipsticks your lips have to be in super condition to pull this off... i don't have a problem with the smell but its could be off-putting for some. the lipstick does get dry and flaky and settles into the fine lines. doesn't last for 14 hours, 4 to 5 hours tops. the color is build- able, can be worn light or dark based on your look.

i have found a way to make this lipstick work for me, but its only for when you've got lots time in hand to do your makeup. prep your lip with lip balm and brush it with a q tip. then apply the lipstick. the lipstick will turn powdery within a couple of minutes. go do something for 10 min., now take the q tip and brush off the excess that has feathered. reapply and repeat this process a couple of times. you will end up stained matte lips that looks like its your natural lip color...

i will not buy this lipstick again but until this one finishes, i will use it.
