I had high hopes for this moisturizer. Dr oz claimed it to be the best. Well for me it wasnt :/ It gave me no moisture at all! I put it on twice a day. I caked it on at night and even added olive oil to it. By morning my face was so dry again. It smells nice and it seems to be great quality, but it did nothing for me at all. My skin is not overly dry on normal occasions. And this also did not break me out. So maybe if you have oily skin this may good for you.

This isn't terrible but I don't see anything great about it. It doesn't do much at all for me but seems to work for a lot of people so I guess it is worth trying out. I get really bad dry patches in the winter and nothing ever solves that problem till the season changes. Even Vaseline doesn't do the job, it just sits over my dry patches. It is like my skin doesn't have the ability to absorb anything...I feel like I'm the only person that is like that...Any that was just something to read to tell you how dry and problematic my skin is. This moisturizer will probably work on someone that doesn't have a bad skin problem like me...sigh...

This broke me out pretty badly. I already have some acne, but this made it worse, so I stopped. I just use it on my legs, it makes them nice and soft, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I broke out from Cetaphil and eventually got clogged pores from Cerave (although I do love how light Cerave felt on my oily skin), so I was on a hunt for a minimal moisturizer that would hydrate my skin without making it oily. I tried a few before landing on this one, and I have no regrets. (It's super easy to find in almost all drugstores and supermarkets, and it's only $5!)

This lotion has the consistency of an opaque white gel, which made it easy to spread across my skin. It has a freshly-cut-leaf sort of smell (not really like aloe, but similar to it) which I like, but if you're sensitive to scents, keep that in mind. I'd say it gives intermediate hydration, more than a light hydrator like Cerave lotion but less than heavier ones like Aveeno's. I'm acne-prone and haven't had any breakouts after using this lotion for a few days, but as usual, YMMV. (The ingredients seem pretty harmless when I checked them in cosdna.com though.)

I am taking off a lippie because it came in a big, round tub, which is the most annoying and useless sort of packaging for a lotion. I'm planning on transferring it to travel-sized squeezey tubes so I can bring it with me on trips.

This moisturizer is amazing and cheap! I have hard time finding moisturizers to work with my skin so I'm always worried. This stuff doesn't break out my skin or leave it feeling oily! I only use at night though cause I can't really wear anything under my foundation. Plus the scent is nice light and refreshing sort of like aloe maybe. Such an amazing product for so cheap well done St Ives.

Am I the only one who had a bad experience with this product?!

I had high hopes for this moisturiser but I was sorely disappointed just 3 days after using it. I broke out on the 2nd day of usage (mind you, i only used this at night time and i used sparingly)! I was so disappointed! Now I only use this product on my body because it does have collagen and I didn't want it to go to waste. It's a pity, really.

I'm still on the search for the perfect moisturiser. Having a combination skin which breaks out occasionally can be such a pain!

This is my HG moisturizer. I haven't purchased another since I bought this one for $5 about 6 months ago. It doesn't contain SPF so I just use it at night, but by the morning my skin is really soft and appears dewy. This lotion has the smell of freshly cut leaves, but it's really lightly scented, which I like. My only complaint is the fact that it's in a tub. I would've preferred a container with a pump.

This product deserves so much more attention and love. This is by far the best facial moisturizer I have ever used, believe me ... I've tried plenty. I'm in my teens so most products break me out, feel goopy, or just irritate my skin. This one is light, cheap, but you can feel the moisture actually working on your skin. Depending on how much you put on, sometimes it'll feel heavy but once it sinks in my goodness it leaves your skin heavenly. I use it on my mom and meme's face sometimes and they both really like it too. There isn't much scent, it just smells clean which is good because I hate heavy fragrances near my face. I had moderate acne until maybe last year when I started consistently using burt's bees deep cleansing cream and then when I added this basically all my acne is gone, except around my period.

Pros:
Firms up skin
Leaves skin soft and beautiful
Actually does reduce some appearance of wrinkles or lines
Smells fresh
Creates a "more awake" look, or healthy glow

Cons:
I guess just the packaging... make sure your hands are clean before using it so that you don't contaminate the rest of it.

I use this before I put on any makeup and sometimes before I go to bed. It makes my skin feel really soft and does not dry it out or make it overly greasy. Plus, you get so much product. I have had for awhile now, and I have not even made a dent in it. It has a bit of a flowery scent, but it does not bother me once it has been blended out.

Let me just say that I'm not one to use facial moisturizers, because they tend to make my combination skin greasy. However, come winter, my skin can get really dry and flaky, and we all know how terrible that looks with makeup. So last year I started looking around for a nice facial moisturizer, and being already a loyal St. Ives user, decided to give this one a shot. Nearly a year later I'm still on the same tube, and am loving it! This is exactly what I need when the cold air starts drying out my skin! It doesn't leave my face shiny, it absorbs really well, and it makes my cheeks really soft and smooth -- I'm talking velvety, buttery, baby-soft-and-smooth here. Timeless Skin is an AMAZING product. I use it on my face and neck -- it's really helped minimize my neck-lines -- and even on the tips of my hair after blowdrying. It leaves my hair soft and conditioned, it's that good. Plus the clean, leafy smell is inoffensive and calming. Definitely a winter HG product; I will keep repurchasing this!
