I got this mascara a few days ago and I'm still not to sure if I like it. I tend to use the purple end first sense it kind of makes my lashes clumpy and then the pink end to help get the clumps out and give it a better look. Yes this make my lashed longer and look fuller but it gives me raccoon eyes.
I've been using the Haute & Naughty Lash for about 2 months now and I quite like it. I tend to be very picky when it comes to mascara, because I hate when my eyelashes stick together.
The mascara has 2 openings, a small which deposits less mascara on the brush and a wider which deposits more. I usually do one swipe with the bigger opening and then spread it out with the smaller. I find this gives me volume, and also the separation I desire.
I always use an eyelash curler before hand and would definitely suggest doing that. As this mascara gives almost no curl. continued >>

I much prefer the "haute" side of this mascara because it gives nice length and definition , I found this product worked better when a bit of air got at it. I liked the "naughty" side but I found it began to clump after 2 layers. All in all a good product
So far my HG mascara!!! Better than Benefits They're Real and Loreal Million Lashes. I only use the thicker brush. Doesn't clump, dries fast and doesn't smear. I've used it for a few days and so far love it!

This is a pretty good mascara. I like the idea of the two wands, but I find myself using the 'naughty' wand 90% of the time. The 'haute' wand just doesn't give my lashes that thick, dramatic look that I love. I really like the product though, it works better than most of the mascaras I've tried. My only complaint is that it has a really strong 'mascara smell'. If you've ever gotten a whif of your mascara before, you'll know what I mean. You can smell that the second you open the bottle.

I buy a lot of my make up at mac, but to be honest, I don't think their mascara's are really up to par, they should be. In general all of Mac's that I have tried but especially with this particular mascara, is the mascara is too wet, and all their brushes pick up too much product from the tube. Then by like the second or third layer of Mascara your lashes look clumpy and very unnatural. With this particular product especially, the brushes pick up way too much product, and personally for spending almost 20 dollars a tube it really is a pain to have to wipe the mascara wand or brush some of the product back in the tube every time I apply it. Also with this mascara the top brush is too big, so this makes it impossible to control the application and apply correctly. So even though, their are two brushes included, in my opinion only one of them really works, and its not really that special. I would never repurchase this mascara again. The only Mac mascara that I enjoyed that I didn't notice the mascara wand picking up too much product, or being to clumpy, is False Lashes,So I recommend that product if anyone would want to try other MAC mascaras, the only downside to that one is that is dryes out very fast. Its too bad, that MAC isn't able to make better mascara, because some of there other products and customer service is wonderful

didnt like it at all. ive used it 3 -4 times so far i think and i already hate it. from the moment i opened the tube for the first time, what i saw wasnt pretty. the "naughty" side wand had big chunks of mascara!! and it was new!! of course when i applied it, it smeared over my lid, ruining the eyeshadows i had applied, which meant i had to reapply them. this happened all the 3 times ive used it.
as you can imagine from the results, i wont repurchase..
I love the effect that this mascara gives me just that it's a bummer that it's not waterproof. It smudges like mad in a humid weather. I simply couldn't use it, my lower eyelid turns into panda eyes when i start sweating. It's build-able and won't clump but it's just not waterproof nor smudgeproof. That is the only let down of this mascara and it's rather pricey.
So i purchased this product (my second time now) after hearing about it on this site. and I must say, out of all the mascaras ive tried, it gives the most volume! but obv there is a downside to this. i find that the mascara is really wet, so it brings the curls down after applying. it also begins to clump if you put alot of coatings on. so I found that applying KISS ME mascara (a japanese mascara, holds curl VERY well) and THEN applying this mascara works really well. KISS ME holds the curls, and Haute and Naughty volumizes it! but if you have a natural curl to you lashes, it should be good!
I'm a mascara junkie. Tried brand after brand, from the expensive YSL Faux Cils to the cheapo Jordana Best Lash Extreme (both are awesome, btw). My last trip to MAC is how I stumbled upon this product. The SA talked it up and said it was her new fave, blah blah. I get a PRO discount, so I said what the hey, and bought it. This mascara is just OK. I think the concept is great, and it's definitely a step up from their past mascaras (let's face it, MAC isn't known for their mascaras, ladies!) This one has two wands. The hot pink end has a smaller opening so that less mascara is left on the brush, and the glittery end has a bigger opening so you get more mascara left on the brush. Basically, one end is for light definition, and the other end is for drama. Here are my thoughts:
Packaging: It's cute. And I like the idea of two looks in one. But the hot pink wand is sooo long that it's hard to control. It's also super slim and feels like it could break any moment. I took off one lippie for packaging b/c of this.
Formula: It's a decent mascara. It's neither too thick or too watery. But I feel like it pulls the curl out of my lashes. And I feel as though it clumps after coat 2. I also don't care for the scent, but that fades fast.
Overall: Like I said, it's OK. It's not the worst I ever used, but not the best. I won't re-purchase b/c I prefer my $7 L'Oreal Carbon Black Volumious or my $3 Jordana over this. I think this might be one of those products that is a hit or miss for people. It all depends on preference. Try it, and it might work you. As for me, I'm taking it back and getting more e/s! lol
