I bought this in the winter months to help sooth my chapped lips. This scrub is very minty and it tastes good, and it did leave my lips feeling soft. I wouldn't purchase again, because I think it's sort of a novelty products and by no means a staple. It does nothing that exfoliating with a washcloth can't do. Also, it's kind of messy and the sugar crumbs get everywhere. I'll stick to just slicking on some chapstick.

Ok this feels good, exfoliates and smoothes the lips...and tastes like those thin mint Girl Scout Cookies lol. It was somewhere in the $8-$9 range for a little tub. The ingredients are sugar, oils and extracts-pretty simple stuff. I use little beauty spatulas to get the product out of the little tub. I like this and use regularly.

If your lips get dry or cracked this product is great to remove that. I dont normally have cracked lips, but if I do I use this or I normally use this when Im wearing a nude lipstick, so it goes on smooth. Try it out its amazing.

DELIICCIOUS! Have hidden my little pottle from the fiance as he's being using this as a shower-time-snack!

LOVE IT- delicious, feels great on my lips and is fairly inexpensive.

My face is more on the oily side but my lips are ever so dry. For years, I have been using Vaseline to moisturize my lips. It seemed to be okay at first but I realized that it really wasn't helping my lips to be hydrated. My flaky lips stopped me from wearing beautiful lipsticks even if I had applied a lip balm underneath. I realized I had to get some sort of scrub to exfoliate my lips so I walked into sephora and found a lip scrub at a ridiculous price of twenty something dollars. So I walked into the next door Lush and found this for eight something. The first few days of use, I wasn't too impressed but when I started pairing with my baby aquaphor healing ointment, it did wonders for my lips. If you have dry, cracky, flaky lips like mine, try this scrub and the aquaphor healing ointment which was pretty cheap at the drugstore.
The only gimmick is that it's in a jar, and the product isn't viscous at all so when you scrub it on your lips, you tend to waste a lot of products.
It is decently priced, smells and tastes amazing, and delivers excellent results. Give it a try if you have extra ten dollars to spare and want to have gorgeous looking lips,

This is a good product, that smells and tastes amazing as well. However, it does not blow me away the way that many people feel about it. It's my first lip scrub, so maybe I have higher expectations than I should but this product is a little too pricey for what it does ($8 or so) especially when it's mostly comprised of just sugar. I feel like I could mix sugar and some essential oils and get a very similar effect. It's also pretty messy, getting it out of the jar is not always a smooth and clean process which is a bummer.
I would certainly consider purchasing again as it has helped the "flakies" I get on my lips, but knowing myself I will probably seek out more alternatives (perhaps even a homemade recipe) to compare before repurchasing again.

I love this product! I go to lush about once every other week to stock up on my everyday products and new products to try and when I was checking out when the lady at the counter kept raving about their Sugar Lip Scrubs (Specifically the Mint Julips scrub), so I grabbed it.

I didn't expect much from it, however when I used it my lips felt so great, and getting to lick it off afterwards was a fantastic bonus. It left me with a minty fresh mouth. The taste didn't last very long, but I'm still very happy I was told to buy.

My only suggestion is not to use this product too often. I like to use it every other day, or every two days if I can wait that long.

Also, getting the product out can kind of be a pain. I felt I wasted a lot of product the first few times I used it.

Mint Julips was an impulse buy for me - there's a reason why LUSH's lip scrubs are at the counter - I don't know if anyone would be inclined to buy it if they were only on the hunt for a lip scrub.
It smells and tastes amazing, and when it's in sight I can hardly resist opening up the pot and inhaling the beautiful peppermint and chocolate scent.
However, it's not a fantastic lip scub. You need to apply a lot of the product if you want it to stay on your lips and decently smooth them, and when you're paying AUD $10 for a tiny 25g pot that's a bit annoying. It does leave your lips smooth for a small amount of time, but it's not worth your money if you want more than the novelty of the packaging, taste and smell.

LOVE THIS!! Takes all the dead skin away from your lips leaving them so soft and the smell/taste is the best part of it! I had always made my own scrub by using honey and sugar but I find this much less hassle and it's gentle enough to use everyday :)
