Like to poster directly below me, I liked this but didn't feel it did anything for radiance, as it claims. Average. I have oily skin and typically go for gel-type cleansers most of the year, but when it's colder or when my eczema flares up, I like something that can tackle the occasional dry patch. This cleanser is good for that--it provides some moisture without making my skin nuts.
I like this. But it's not outstanding - and it didn't do anything in the radiance department. I love that it is a foaming cleanser and can be used with a Clairsonic/Pretika. It does a good job at not drying me out. But if I buy something to do a specific job, I'd like to see results, which I didn't in over several months of use.
This smells sooo bad. It smells like perm solution/hair dye. It dried my skin and left it flakey and feeling raw. Also I had a hard time getting the pump unlocked. It probally would have been better for my skin if I didn't.
Good things:
Cleans well, gentle but effective
Does not over dry my skin
Natural ingredients
Didn't break out my skin
Improved texture of my skin
Helped fade some dark spots
I like the pump packaging
Bad things:
The smell is kinda weird at first, but i actually grew to like it.
The pump was hard to get to unlock after first purchasing
Over-all i love this cleanser and i've tried A LOT of things.
ok ive only been using this for 3 days but love how clean and soft my face is, i really hope this does not break me out! i am going to be trying the other radiance products next
My skin is sensitive and irratic - oily in some places, flaky in others, red, bumpy, big pores, etc. I suffer from seborrhaic dermatitis AND rosacea and *thought* I was using a nice, gentle, cleanser [Purity by Philosophy] which (after researching the ingredients) I discovered was full of chemicals and preservatives. So I decided to try something different.
After reading some reviews, I decided to pick up this Burt's Bees Radiance cleanser. At the first use, I loved it. The texture feels like liquid silk, it has a few little exfoliating beads [feels luxurious], and has a lighty, woodsy smell that I enjoy. (Some might not care for the smell though because scent is such a personal thing)
I've been using this cleanser for 3 weeks and this is the first face wash I have ever used that has actually IMPROVED my skin! It has calmed the rosecea (much less redness and bumpiness), and my face is soft, smooth, even-toned and has a nice glow to it. Ounce per ounce, it is also half the price of my old, chemically face wash. After my face is clean, I rub on a dab of organic coconut oil as a moisturizer and the results are amazing.

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CLEANSER . and it's almost 100% natural. It doesn't dry out your skin or make you break out. The only thing that annoys me is the pump that takes FOREVER to unlock.
I like this product. My very sensitive skin likes it. Gets rid of make up very well, no more need for extra make up remover.
Couple of problems though, it takes alot to rinse it off my skin. If I don't rinse it off very well it seems to stick to the skin ala moisturiser and makes me break out.
I've just been using this a few days now but so far I love it. I have sensitive, rosacea type skin and so I can't use anything that irritates my skin. So far this stuff is terrific, it takes off my makeup at the end of the day completely and makes my skin feel soft - without causing redness. And that's unusual for me.
I like the ingredients tha it does have, and I'm happy about the stuff they left out (sulfates, parabens, etc). Yes it does smell just like hair dye. But as long as that smell isn't being caused by nasty chemicals, then what do I care? Besides, I actually like the smell of hair dye.
The only reason I didn't give this a five is because I havent been using it long enough to ensure it withstands the test of time.
