I wanted to go for a neutral - pale look on my wedding day so I purchased the BE109 one.. and so far I love it! ü This lipstick needs a good lip primer so the color appears truer.. the color I bought matches my skin best. You have to let it dry before swiping your favorite lip gloss as it easily gets wiped off. Staying power is okay but won't last that long. Also, you have to wear a tinted gloss with this as I looked all washed out on photos using a clear gloss. Will not repurchase.. still a long way to go.

i have this in RD514 which is a cool toned true red. its absolutely beautiful. i'm usually the type of person to shy away from reds because i feel that my skin tone doesnt do well with red lipstick, but this one works so well with my olive skintone. i also thought i couldnt pull off cool toned lip colours (some made my lips look blue) but this lipstick proved me wrong. the lipstick formula is also really good. it doesnt accentuate any dry spots, even when i'm not using a lip balm, which is pretty amazing because i usually have chapped lips, but it does feel a bit more drying than other lipsticks like their shimmer ones. it also doesnt transfer too badly. the only thing i dont really like about this is the waxy taste i get in my mouth when i wear this. i know its lipstick and all, but i've never had this problem with any other lipstick i've used except for shiseido ones. i dont know why but that doesnt stop me from buying more of these amazing lipsticks.

I received a sample size of this in my recent gift with purchase promotion (it's still on at sears I think. it comes in a cute little red pouch with a generous sample of the skincare lotion, toner and cleanser). I'm usually more of a lip gloss type of gal, but this might inspire me to try more lipsticks! this goes on really smooth and does not accentuate my chapped dry patches on my lips. the color is true on, even though my lips are fairly pigmented to begin with. it lasts a decent time until i started drinking coffee (it lasted about 2 hours which i think is decent). it has very creamy and silky texture and did not have any bad smell or taste. i really do love this lipstick and i'm planning to stop by shisedo store to try on other colours and get a full size!

I bought RS320 - which to me is not a pink at all but a bright violet. Definitely blue-based, it stays pretty true although I wouldn't say it had the best staying power. I think I need to use a primer on my lips first, but that is normal for almost any lipstick for me. It has a nice slippery feel, but I do find that a slippery, moisturizing lipstick does not have the staying power of deep, matte colours that are drying but they stay. So, I give up on that for comfort, and with a primer like Kiss Kiss, it works well and the colour stays true. The colour itself is a crayon bright violet, I love it, but I need to mute it a bit or it is a bit cartoony, so I layer Kiss Kiss Maxi Shine in Violet Shine on top. I get no bleeding even if I do this combo directly on my lips, and my lips stay full and feel moisturized and plump with no dryness. I looked high and low for a good violet, and I found it! I will check out more of these lipsticks but remember, highly pigmented but too slippery to stick - very comfortable but you will be reapplying more often than the drying but stay put lipsticks.

I finally got around to trying this product and its to die for! This formula is pretty much the same as the Cle de Peau extra silky lipstick, which costs twice as much. It's lightweight, moisturizing, and has a very luxurious feel. It makes my lips look luscious. It stays on about as well as most other moisturizing lipsticks. I got PK 307 which is a light pink; its not extremely pigmented, but just right for a daytime lipstick. 4 lippies because I am not sure that I want to spend 25 bucks on a lipstick when I can get a great MAC lipstick for 14. I might re-purchase if I use it up.

The most elusive of Reds, The one that rocks on medium and olive complexions, I cannot say enough good things about PERFECT ROUGE RD613 (Mystery).

The new packaging is simply beautiful. The texture is out of the world.

This is my HG Red lipstick !!

I was surprised to read the low repurchase rate. I procured four of these beauties (OR418 – Day Lily, RD415 - Valentine, BE208 – Baby, and PK417 – Bubblegum) a few months ago, and I have greatly enjoyed wearing them! I was instantly drawn to the bright, perfect-for-spring colours and had a fun time trying several shades on. Other than the beautiful, vibrant, and highly pigmented colours, the great aspect of Perfect Rouge is the texture. These feel extraordinarily creamy and smooth. If you prefer matte lipsticks, these are definitely not the ones for you. Staying power could be better, could be worse. (I agree with a previous reviewer that Chanel’s Rouge Allure formula has better staying power.) Here’s a brief run-down on the shades I have:
OR416 – Day Lily is the shade that caught my eye at once. Having never ventured into the territory of such orange-red before, I wasn’t expecting to truly love this on my lips when I asked the MA to apply it. But it actually does look great on me, which is pretty amazing, since I have somewhat cool-toned skin and tend to shy away from warm colours. Definitely try this, even if you’re scared of it at first.
RD415 – Valentine is a cool-toned red. It’s similar to my other favourite red, Chanel’s Rouge Allure in Lover, but Valentine is brighter/lighter. I always wear a lip liner under this shade. Verrry sexy.
BE208 – Baby is a great MLBB shade for me; it’s the perfect pinky-nude in a great formula – score!
PK417 – Bubblegum was my favourite shade for spring. Such a fun, bright pink. You really need to try the unique shades on to get a full appreciation of the colours.

I went to the Shiseido counter because I had never tried their products but always wanted to. The SA did my make up, and she used PK417 (Bubblegum) on my lips, and it looked amazing! I would never have chosen the color for myself because if you see it sitting there, it is quite a scary looking bright pink, but the SA applied gloss first, and then dabbed a bit of PK 417 overtop. It looked so good, I had to buy it! I wouldn't buy it again because lipsticks are not something I like to spend a lot of money on ($25!), but I really do love it. And the staying power is good. It hadn't budged for three hours until I ate pizza and it started to come off then.

I bought this Perfect Rouge lipstick in Gilded Wine. I lived in Japan for 10 years and just got back about a year ago. I wanted to buy myself a luxury lipstick to celebrate my graduation, and I decided on Shiseido, partly because of a positive rating from Paula Begoun, and partly because, at $25 for lipstick from Shiseido in the US, it is actually quite a bargain. I wanted to adore this lipstick. The color is beautiful on my NW15 skin--lips, that is! It is a lovely purpley-wine color with a bit of silver shimmer. I tend not to like shimmer as it is too youthful a look for me, but this was just right. A little glimmer to add richness to the color. The feel was smooth, not sticky or slippery. The color applies somewhat sheerly, which was a surprise. I tested a couple of different colors at the counter, and they were all fairly sheer cream textures/finishes. My problem with this lipstick is that the color is fugitive. It wears off very quickly and leaves little or no stain, just a few pieces of shimmer. For $25, I had hoped for better, more even wear. The packaging is sleek and beautiful, but I would rather have "boring" containers that house a phenomenal product, that an expensive container that houses just so-so lipstick--or any makeup for that matter. I cannot find it in me to recommend this product, when there are far better lipsticks out there for half the price or less, such as Max Factor's Vivid Impact or the old standard Revlon Super Lustrous. Oh well, I have my fugitive glamorous lipstick. Beautiful, but fleeting. Sort of like the cherry blossoms in springtime Japan.

I bought two colors - Sweet Pea (Rd 304) and a really light pink color. First let me say that I don't remember the lighter color and I don't care to look. I hate it. Partially because it's the wrong color for me (shame on my for listening to the SA). Mostly, though, because when I wear it, I see every single wrinkle, line, flake and other flaw on my lips.

As for the Sweet Pea, I can't say enough wonderful things about it! I almost gave it away because of the other color - I can't believe it. I have worn it for the past two days at work - I applied it in the morning, after lunch and touched up once before I left work. It was really creamy and highly pigmented.

I don't know if the other colors in the collection perform more like the Sweet Pea or the light pinky color. So, I'm going to rate this on how much I love Sweet Pea.
