bought this concealer 2 days ago at a bobbi brown makeup counter. I have dry skin and the makeup artist suggested this concealer for me to use around my nose and mouth areas. The colour matches quite well and Im very happy with that, but what i noticed by nighttime is that my face was all oily and shiny with it on! I never have problems being oily cause again i have dry skin right? This just made me look AND feel gross. ugh. Returning it asap today.

Ordered in Alabaster from Holt Renfrew in Canada.
Have a very difficult time finding a pale concealer for my super PPP (NW 05 ish) skin, heard such good things about this one that I decided to give it a try.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I expected Alabaster to be a suitable match in light of how pale their Alabaster-tone foundations are, but, it's a bit too dark. :( There goes $30! It'll cover some of my imperfections ok, but for larger zits where I have to dab on more, the concealer gets too pigmented and ends up making the zit look darker and more noticeable. Also, I thought the coverage would be more opaque - I have a lot of skin imperfections and need heavier coverage because some of them are quite red. Maybe I need to be looking into a green colour corrector rather than a concealer.

On the other hand, the concealer does seem to last for the whole day (except in my T-zone).

The packaging is very nice and very compact. It doesn't seem like a lot of product for the amount I paid. I paid about the same for my Shiseido concealer (also a smidge too dark but I can use it for some things) and it's lasted me for months - using a lot of it daily.

Note: I bought the Clarins concealer in 01 a few days later and was quite pleased...it seems to be even paler than the Alabaster BB touch up stick and blends well with my complexion.

If I could have one make-up item only, this would be it. It works well under and over foundation and even without it. Indeed, this allows me to skip foundation and what not despite my broken capillaries and also various red patches my skin decides to have every morning. Until this, nothing managed to have an effect on them, but this stick covers my redness perfectly and gives me a very very natural look. I have even smothered my whole face with it as if this was foundation and it still looked much more natural than many foundations:) It's very creamy and slides off quickly - though I don't set it with powder- but I'm OK with it as the re-application is so easy. I have it both in beige and warm beige, and warm beige has a more natural effect on my skin than Skin Foundation in beige. The SA always tries to sell me a shade darker for the summer but I find that one too yellow. I think this is a great 101 product for those of us who are lazy when it comes to make-up and creates opportunities for even more laziness. I'll continue to buy it for as long as they make it. Actually, I feel pretty grateful for this lovely little thing.

Beautiful concealer. I have this in 4.5 (Warm Natural) and I love it! Compact size, handy to just toss into your handbag or purse and the consistency is gorgeous and light. It looks like it should be heavy and pancakey like the tradition stick foundations/concealers but it isn't. I LOVE how Bobbi has the same shades in foundations as she does in her concealers and this matches perfectly to the foundation of the same shade, and also a shade above and below it. The coverage is fantastic, it disguises my dark circles and broken capillaries, but again, looks so natural and when partnered with the co-ordinated BB foundation, it would make anyone look amazing. Instead of touching up with foundation, I use this during the day or night because the consistency is like a cream foundation when you blend it into your face. Lasting power is great, I always use a finishing powder, so I can't comment on it by itself, but I will repurchase as long as they keep making it.

I LOOOVE THIS CONCEALER! My mom got it for me for my birthday (I'm in Warm Ivory) and I absolutely love it! It's creamy and easy to blend, first the lady at the counter put it on me and my skin looked flawless, I just kept on staring at the mirror because my imperfections disappeared! So, next day I tried to do it again and it was really easy to use and I still had that same flawless affect. It's also purse friendly, so I can just pop it in my bag and go out. The only thing I don't really like about it is I'm scared it might melt or since it's in a tube it'll break off (this has happened to me and my lipsticks it is not fun). But overall AWESOME CONCEALER!

I wear this is in either 4.5 or 5, which match better than anything I've ever used. This helps my skin look flawless. At first, it never seemed to set, but based on other reviews, I learned it must be set with powder.
Pros:
Lasts most of the day, moderate coverage, color matches perfectly, portable, a little goes a long way.
Cons:
Expensive, will rub off.

I just love this stick. I have tried sooooo many concealers over the years, and nothing was ever quite right. This little stick -- in the same color as the Warm Ivory foundation I use -- is amazing. A gentle swipe over the dark circles under each eye, a few finger pats...and done...invisible...no chalky or yellowish residue. And it's moisturizing as well...doesn't pull on skin when you apply it. Best thing I've bought in a long, long time.

I have this is Warm Ivory. I am NC20 for your reference.

Pros: The color match is unbeatable! Perfect color match to my skin, no pink in it at all, very natural. Also, love the packaging. Very convenient to carry on the go.
Cons: it took me a few days to figure out how to use this product and make it work for me. on clean but moisturized skin it was too sheer, slipped, and looked uneven when applied (blemish, red around nose). Also, it looked unnatural (like I had on a full foundation- which I hate) when used underneath makeup. **.It was not until I decided to put this on TOP of my powder that it worked perfectly. I use a concealer brush and the SMALLEST amount of product, then pat with brush until the flaw is gone, set with powderI and Im done! I find I get good coverage that lasts all day using this technique.

Bottom line, I REALLY like the color so I will continue to use it, just wish it provided slightly more coverage with less "greese".

I have given this product 5 lippies- though perhaps I may be being a little optimistic as I havent used it long enough nor can I compare it to many other concealers to swear by it yet, however in comparison to the becca concealer I used to use, this concealer is a dream. I say this because it leaves a smooth finish that does not leave any streaks nor does it settle into any fine lines, it also looks natural on my skin and is a good colour match for my unique skintone (I have honey). I use it in conjuction with the undereye concealer which is a shade lighter and I am left with pleasing results (the touch up stick is not intended to use under the eyes). My face looks fresh, and considering how much acne/scarring I have I can use this concealer alone and I feel I do not need any extras on top including foundation. It hasnt broken me out, and I feel it works very well with my skincare. Its a lovely fine consistency that covers spots well without it being noticeable. If you have combination/sensitive/blemished/acneic skin, want to hide any imprefections yet look natural at the same time then this I would say so far is a must! When I used this product for the first time my husband had no idea that I was wearing it, he looked at me differently and complimented how great my face looked!

I recently purchased the touch up stick along with the matching foundation. Such a simple but great idea to have a line of concealers in the same shade as foundation.
I love it, I use this when I have a spot or two that requires more coverage than the foundation I use which is quite sheer. Great packaging means I can just pop in my handbag without carrying a whole makeup bag and touch up as required through the day.
Expensive to buy here in NZ, around $50 however am going on holiday to the US so will stock up while I am there as heaps cheaper in the US
