In my opinion this is an average highlighter. This product has A LOT of glitter in it, and I find its too heavy and shimmery to use for an everyday look. The only time I use this product is for a night out when I wear heavier, more dramatic make up and even then there are other highlighters that I would prefer to use. However, if you are after a glittery, shimmery highlighter then this product is probably for you. This product is very long lasting, and is good value for money because you only need to use a tiny bit for each application.

This is a gorgeous hilighter and I don't think it makes me look greasy despite me having super oily skin. This hilighter can also be used in so many different ways. I used some above my cheekbones, under my brow and in my tear duct. I have also used this as an all over base colour for my eyelids and I think it's just beautiful. Only thing I can complain about is the price, but hey, it is MAC.

The best highlighter you can get if you want that intense J-Lo glow to the skin. I know some reviewers have mentioned theres a LOT of glitter in it, but when you blend it properyl totally makes the skin shine in a good way. Always get complimented when I have this on. Will def repurchase when I ever hit pan.

This is a really nice warm champagne colour, which I feel would suit any skin tone! It's gives a really nice glow.. I don't find it too dramatic personally so I wear it during the day as well, on days I want to highlight. It's definitely worth the price because you get a ton of product and it's just a really pretty highlighter.

I wanted to love this highlighter, but I feel as though IMO it's too gritty, too chunky. It's sort of a glitter bomb. It's great for a special occasion or a night out, but for daily wear I don't think it's practical. It's a lovely champagne color, but it does not apply smoothly. My current fave as a highlighter is The Balm's Mary Lou-Manizer. Now THAT is a perfect highlighter. It's smooth and almost creamy and gives a sheen as opposed to looking like a disco ball. This stuff, I'm afraid, is going back to MAC.

This is a pretty, champagne highlighter. It is very shimmery, so i have to apply with a light hand. It's definaltey one of my favorites. It's perfect for everyday (again, if you use a light hand) because it is not metallic and gives a nice highlight to the cheeks or what have you.

I absolutley love this.
I use it on my decolletage, collarbones, brow bones and in the hollows of my cheeks when I'm contouring. It's fabulous.
I'm about an NW 15, really pale, and this is gorgeous-just the right amount of colour so that I don't look washed out. Highyly recommended.

I LOVE this product. This is the second highlighter I've used & I love this best. It has a beautiful shimmery glow (when applied correctly). I don't find it to be gritty as others have. I was so eager to swap for this. I finally swapped my Nars Albatross (which I thought had too much gold in it) for Soft and Gentle. In retrospect, I regret swapping for this. I did extensive research and looked at numerous blogger's pics and I was positive this would be the highlighter of my dreams. Sadly, it is not. The color is beautiful, it has a slight bronzy sheen to it. My main problem is that it's too chunky. It doesn't apply smoothly. That is a huge issue for me. I'm still on the lookout for an HG powder highlighter. Right now I'm using Too Faced Pink Leopard as a highlighter and I like it ok..but it's not HG. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Soft and Gentle as I think there are better highlighters out there.

I am a blue eyed NW10 (NW20 when tanning from a bottle).

I prefer this highlighter for when I need alot of shimmer (NOT GLITTER) for evening looks or going out, or when I am tan (NW20). Porcelain Pink is my go-to, but this is the one I reach for when I need to do a special occasion look.
