Sometime I'm lazy to use foundation during summer so I've just used this concealer and loose powder and then go out. I don't want to exaggerate about it but It works well on my complexion.
Doesn't make me get any pimper or allergy.
make my pimple look even obvious and texture is dry although it did provide good coverage
I got this awhile ago, but I ended up selling mine on E-bay. This concealer doesn't come close to the Mark Cealer which I thought this was supposed to be a replacement for. Coverage wasn't that great. I usually like to pat concealer in for best results, and that wasn't working for this one.
This has got to be one of the best spot concealers of all time. That being said, I haven't found a way to make it work under my eyes (yes, I know it's not intended for that) but I bought it based on the reviews here and it does stay put and is extremely opaque. I think part of the problem is the color. The no-nothing SA's at Nordstrom have failed me again and I went home with very yellow concealor 9yr medium light, I think once I get a better hue, although the range is pretty limited, it should work better. The coverage and staying power are unbeatable in my opinion. Update: While still a great concealor, I am lowering my rating because it does seem to do a disappearing act at around noon and the color range is quite strange.
This takes a quick, quick hand to blend! But like some other users, I use it on special occasions as an undereye concealer after applying cream. This is the only concealer I've ever tried that is TRULY opaque. Most others have to be slowly built up layer by layer. The problem with this of cs, is that it can be TOO opaque and I ended up with the inverse-raccoon-eye effect in a photo once. My shade is neither darker/lighter than my foundation shade so I don't know if it's the texture of the thing itself. If anyone uses it for zits and gets a similar problem, I'd like to know! Still, all in all, I keep the precious little tube in my drawer for emergencies though I don't use it usually. I can see it lasting FOREVER, given the amt u use each time. Definitely worth the price when u think of the concentration this product comes in.
I bought this after reading all the rave reviews and am pleased to announce that my review is now joining them. This is one ingenious product. I bought the 7yr h, it is very fair with yellow undertones which suits my colouring perfectly (i am usually a 2 in most foundations). Usually i apply foundation then concealer, and then when i go and apply my bronzer/ blush it moves the concealer and i have to reapply and powder it down again (this happens even when i set the concealer underneath). With this product , i don't even have to set it, i covers all my zits (blending as directed on the package) and i put bronzer all over the top and it doesn't budge! I can apply the bronzer heavy-handidly like i have perfect skin and it doesnt move. Also, it doesn't go cakey by the end of the day. This is my new holy grail spot concealer!
I was lucky enough to get this in a RAOK. I have the 9yr light, i think. At first I thought it was too yellow and dark for me, but it turns out that it matches my Benefit foundation perfectly. The stick without sponge was kinda weird at first. And the consistency was so thick. I thought "What am I going to do with this?" but i kept on using it. It's just that it's so different from all my other concealers. Eventually i got used to the application and I love it. It really covers my dark circles...at least more than any of my other concealers. I know this is used mainly for spots and pimples, but I use it under my eyes. Good product. However I have no idea how much it costs since it's not available where i live.
Definitely raves for this concealer, it's my HG concealer now. Conceals my post acne red marks really well with great staying power too. However one lippie down for its steep price.
This concealer really stays on no matter what. The trick is to blend it really fast because once it sets you have to clean it all off and start over. Very good for small spots and scars. Even the somewhat unorthodox application method works! It's highly pigmented so a very light dab is actually enought to cover a spot. It's not supposed to be used for dark circles but you can make it work anyway. Just make sure the undereye area is well moisturised and blend quickly. Excellent coverage without looking cakey and never wears off. Good range of shades too (actually matches skin, not too yellow or pink)
To sum it up, this concealer's super budge proof but takes practice to make it work. Make sure the surface you want to cover is smooth and moisturised, and blend as quickly as possible.
The product itself is very good, but the applicator is awful. And it dries just a little too fast to work with it.
