A great mask that's dirt cheap. It really pulls the gunk out of my skin without leaving it dry! This is one of my staples.
I love this as a spot treatment but would not use it on my entire face...it's too much! I have tried many other more expensive department store spot treats (mario badescu, etc...) and this one works better. It helps to draw gunk out of my pimples and dry them out. If you did just that, this tube would last you about five years...and for less than three dollars!
Great stuff! It really cleans deep into the skin, and leaves it smooth and supple! Another HG for me!
Don't let the packaging fool you -- the masque inside is pure gold. Sulfur can irritate very sensitive skin, so YMMV, but I love its ability to keep my face from being greasy in the summer. I abandoned my beloved Proactiv mud masque in favor of Queen Helene's.
I have bought two tubes of this product, and it is a great mask for the price. The minty smell is great, although there are moments when I catch a whiff of sulfur. I also have to be careful to use it only on my t-zone, and not on my entire face. If I spread it out over my cheeks, my skin becomes inflamed. However, I love the job it does for sucking up the oil on my nose, and I used to get compliments on how 'glowy' I looked whenever I gave myself a facial using this mask.
I swapped my Chanel, Origins & i Colinani masques. Why use anything else? The greatest testament? I was sick in bed & my fiancee let me give him a facial with me. He was so impressed with what the Queen Helene mask did for him, and how much cleaner a shave he got after, he bought his own tube!!!
Love this product. Gets rid of my blackheads.
I'm with those who like it on this one. It's a steal that's great for combination skin. I love the cooling effect, too!
This is a staple mask for me, when I feel oily. However, when my skin is feeling normal/dry, or sensitive, I don't use it because I feel it's a little on the strong side for a clay based mask. (I apply this mask very thinly and evenly, this reduces drying time, and any possible irritation to my skin). I have not been without a tube of this minty mud in years!
The only thing I liked about this mask was the minty smell and the great price. The consistency is a thick paste that is on the dry side. When I was applying it to my face, I was pulling the product around b/c it is not easily spreadable. After I rinsed it off, it left my face tight, irritated and red. The redness went away after an hour or so, but the mask didn't do anything to help clean my pores or brighten my skin tone.
