I am constantly washing my hands to avoid getting sick during winter, but I have been paranoid to use anything with scent as I have a newborn--and 99% of my moisturizers have fragrance. So, I dug in my cupboards to find something that was fragrance-free and found my trusted Neutrogena Emulsion. My hands had been so dry they were peeling and cracking, but after using this product once, my skin was so soft, I was in awe! How could I have forgotten about something that had been such a staple for me for a good 5+ years? Needless to say, I will be abandoning all of the "frou-frou" products that are 3 times the price and don't even touch the results I get with my Neutrogena.

I find that this is more "spreadable" right after washing your hands, while they're still damp. Within minutes, the cream is absorbed into the skin and it only takes a little dab to replenish moisture. The price is great, too. Even my husband swears by this and he is not one to use such "girly" things. I will definitely be repurchasing!

I do not like the texture of this product. To me it seems that you really have to work into your skin. I think that there are better products on the market.

This is the BEST hand lotion on the planet!!! When you first apply it, it feels heavy. But within a few minutes, it sinks right in and makes your hands feel smooth and silky soft, like a baby's bottom. You only need a very small amount, so don't make the mistake of applying too much! I have tried other lotions that other ppl. rave about, but always keep coming back to this. And that is it for me. No more throwing my money out the window KNOWING that nothing will ever be better than this product. And the price is right, $4.00/ tube that lasts a good while. I use it on my feet too!

did not absorb very well...scent was off-putting...did not moisturize very well for me

This is one of my all-time favorite products - I have used it for probably 20 years now and can't tell you how many times I have recommended it. This is a serious hand cream that means business! I put it on every night before bed, rubbing a little bit extra into my cuticles, and it really helps keep my hands and nails in great shape. My daughter gets chapped lips easily, and sometimes I will wipe this across her lips at night (while she's sleeping!) - she looks so much better in the morning (does a much better job than ChapStick). It can be a bit "gunky" on initial application, but after a few minutes it soaks in and doesn't cause me any problems. The smell isn't really good or bad (there is a fragarance-free version), but the smell isn't why you'd buy this anyway. I like the short, fat tube - functional and space-efficient (tip: cut it open after you can't get any more out; there's still a fair amount in there to scoop out). Again, an absolutely terrific product that does what it is supposed to!

This hand cream is awesome. Creamy, but not sticky. The only thing that works for me. Doesn't smell either. Love it.

This is the weirdest cream. It comes out of the tube really thick (almost like petroleum jelly) and feels really heavy, greasy, and sticky when you first put it on. But then within a few minutes, the greasiness completely gone and the hands are really soft. Unfortunately the stickiness doesn't completely disappear. A little definitely goes a long way. I had a sample tube that was 1/8th of an ounce and I wound up getting 3-4 uses out of it. Despite the stickiness, I will probably repurchase and wear right before I go to bed--the slight uncomfortable feeling that comes with the initial application of this cream is worth the soft hands I wind up with.

This stuff works pretty well, but the texture is so gooey/oily/sticky/greasy. I like it better as a foot cream, cuz then I don't have to walk around with greasy hands. Would not repurchase.

I am so glad I tried this hand cream. I am from Germany and now I live in Boston. So yes, extremely cold weather, and my hands got dry and felt like paper. I tried Nivea cream, but it didnt work, so I tried an olive oil bath for my hands, which didnt work either. Then I knew I had to get a real hand cream, so I got this one, without knowing much about it, and now I am really glad I bought it because my hands got soft, smooth, and delicate again :D I am so happy about it and now I want to recommend this to anyone who has dry and chapped hands. It worked so great and fast for me that I was amazed.

This product works well although I've run into many other products that challenge this one.
