I SO wanted to love this mascara, but unfortunately not. I don't find it to be awful, but I wouldn't say it was fantastic either. I just didn't really think it did ANYTHING really, although if you prefer a very natural look you may like it.

The brush is so big that application is a bit sloppy. Once it dries it flakes into your eyes, so not cool. Always feels like grit in your eyes. Also, not easy to remove even if you use waterproof remover. I'd ended up pulling some lashes out : (. I bought this in blackest black (regular/non waterproof).

* It would help if everyone wrote which color you selected along with your review (Blackest Black, or Black, Brownish Black, Black Shimmer, Waterproof...) I've noticed "carbon black" type mascaras tend to be more liquidy and smudge more, and of course Waterproof versions are often a completely different story from the original mascara. So your consistency may vary depending on the shade purchased & affect the ratings.

I tried the regular Black non-waterproof. I never especially notice degrees of superblackness in mascaras -- a lot of times carbon black shades look the same as regular black to me, once they're on -- but immediately after I put this on, I could tell it was distinctly off-black. Not as dark or saturated as it could be. This was unsatisfying. I plan to exchange this for Blackest Black and see how it goes.
I like the DiorShow/BadGal-type brush. Revlon used to put out a mascara called Colorstay Extra Thick Lashes and it reminds me of this a bit. I usually buy waterproof mascaras because I absolutely require that my lashes hold a curl, but the reviews on this seemed to indicate that the regular Grow Luscious could do so. I can't actually tell yet because I haven't worn it for significant stretches of time, but it didn't yoink my lashes straight within the first hour, at least. Good volume.

EDIT: downgrading because my lashes had a crunchy, grey look and didn't hold curl. just unsatisfactory. and I believe I had a slight allergy to it - watery eyes. continued >>

Ouch! this product crumbled into my eye in sharp pieces. Only used it 1-2 times so won't know if it does 'grow' lashes permanently as it claims.

This was so flakey, burned my eyes and smudged. Dry and gross.

Garbage. I purchased the waterproof, which is TOTALLY not waterproof. Smudges everywhere and if you rub your eye ever, your lashes get stuck together. I can NEVER get rid of the black residue this leaves. It takes like 4 days of washing to no longer see traces. Crap.

I decided to try this mascara after my friend tried it and liked it. We have been on a hunt for the HG mascara. I have noticed that mascara's w/ the plastic wands don't work for me. So I was very happy to see a normal wand on this, it's big but it works. I think this mascara is fine for everyday. It lengthens a bit, darkens my lashes, looks very natural.

This product is very good. it makes my lashes appear fuller, longer yet nature looking.It neither flakes nor clumps and good at separates the lashes . However, it doesn't hold curves well as it's pretty wet so if your looking for a curved lashes then stay away from this. Overall, it's best for a nature look :D

I actually like this mascara it makes my lashes look really nice! Full, thick, and most importantly equally seperated, no clumps on either lashes which is hard to find in a lot of mascaras. I actually do like the wand even though it is bigger than most. This might be one of my new fave mascaras. I've tried this only a couple times so I don't know if my lashes have grown longer. Also I have a couple other mascaras I use so I might be defeating the purpose of the mascara lol.. But even if it dosent make them grow longer I would still repurchase because it makes my lashes look great.

Love It! The brush is kind of big but hey it works out! it really makes my lashes thick and it does hold a curl too! I am not sure if its my imagination but even when i take this mascara off, my lashes feel and look longer? so i am not sure if its making them grow but they are definatley more conditioned and dont fall out as much!
