Everyone seems to love this stuff, and I am not exactly sure why. The packaging is lovely. It is excellent quality, especially considering the price. It comes with a very large mirror, which is nice as well. However, the product itself... I am not crazy about. Then again, I've never cared much for blush or bronzer in general. It just tends to look chalky/splotchy on me. It's probably just because I have dry skin.. So, if you have oily or normal skin, you may love this.. But since I have dry (combination dry) skin, it just doesn't work well for me.
It's a good product for the price. For $3, you really can't complain. I can't say I really love this product though. The blush is just a little too shimmery for my taste but I use it often. The bronzer is way too dark and orange on me. My favorite part of the product is the packaging. I love that it comes with a huge mirror. It really comes in handy. Overall, I don't I'll be repurchasing.
I can't complain too much about this product because I only pair $3 for it. But for my very fair skin color obviously it was a little to bright on my skin. But I use the bronzer as an eyeshadow and it looks great.
This product is great . For the price you pay you get an awesome matte bronzer and a decent blush. I use it every single day to give my face some color ! I highly recommend to have this in your collection!
This is a really good duo! The bronzer is really good for contouring, you just have to be careful when using it. It is really pigmented! i like it because it doesn't look orange or dirty (if applied right). The blush is a really light pink peachy color. It gives kind of a sheen to my cheeks. It doesn't give much color to my cheeks, but i still like the sheen it gives me. It's good for summer. I really recommend this product. It's only $3!:)
I bought this today because it was cheap and I had heard some good things about it. I probably shouldn't have bought it. The blush barely showed up on my cheek after applying it over and over. I tried it over some cream blush I have and that worked better but I still looked like I had pretty much nothing on my cheeks. The bronzer on the other hand was very pigmented and showed up really well on me. Maybe I should update the pics with a swatch on my darker skin so that people with similar skin tones can see the difference.
i agree with the Nars comparison. although it is atad shimmery, it adds a nice glow to my 55 year-old complexion!! my daughter checked it out and plans to buy one for herself- we have both had the Nars blush and thought this was a wonderful alternative.
I have to agree with others, this is a great duo. I use the bronzer as a contour with a fan brush....it applies perfectly! And the blush is a nice color that blends well with my other makeup. You get a lot for the $$$...well worth it! Thanks ELF
The blush is a gorgeous color - it's similar to NARS Orgasm but less warm, wich I like - but it's too shimmery and the texture is a little chalky. The bronzer, on the other hand, is definetely brown, it has no orange in it. I think it can be good for darker skin tones, but absolutely not for me (NC20). It's also very shimmery. I can't say if it's a real dupe for NARS Laguna because I have only swatched the NARS one, but the ELF bronzer looks a little darker and more brown.
I don't think that this duo will suit many skin tones, because the blush is too light (good for NC/NW15-NC/NW30) and the bronzer is way too dark (good for NC35 and up), even when used with a very light hand.
I'll give it 3 lippies because the packaging is good and the blush is really pretty. Anyway, for $3 I think it's worth a try, since there's a chance you'll like at least one of the colors!
In general I like this product. Both the bronzer and blush seem to fade pretty fast and the blush is pretty shimmery but I don't mind. The bronzer works as good contour and shimmers that it has don't show up. I love the packaging feels very sturdy and big mirror. In general would probably buy again.
