I don't understand why people would say this washes them out/ makes them look dead etc. When you look at myth at the mac store you can see it is SUPER light and so if you don't want that ultra nude lip WHY BUY IT? Anyways i think its perfect for making your lips completely toned down if you want to play up your eyes. Another wonderful thing about myth is, that because its so light you can actually put coloured glosses over it to get customised lip colors which looks fantastic.
Its really creamy too so you have to be careful to make sure you blend out the edges - but i definately recommend Myth for everyone!!

Greatest Nude Lipstick Ever Made! I'm all about the nude mouth look and I have many nude lipsticks but Myth is my all-time favorite. My lips are naturally quite pink and Myth tones them down perfectly. It's just the right shade and creamy consistency for my medium skintone. Since it is a satin and goes on semi-matte, I always like to used a touch of lipgloss over it to achieve plumper more luscious looking lips.

love this a lot! not drying and not an overly white toned nude only thing is i think you loose a bit of pigmentation to the fact it is a creamy sheer formula but i think matt is the opposite - so so so close to being perfect and even closer with a gloss but it is such a beautiful colour and finish it feels wrong to put gloss over this!- anyway please ignore my ramblings and go get one of these- (nc15 beige yellow undertones)
I picked this up during the SUMO sale...MAC lipstick for 12$?? YES PLEASE!!!!!!!!
I seriously wish I bought 5..or 500. This is my first MAC lipstick *gasp* and I love it to bits! Smooth, creamy, and not a nasty-nude that washes me out (I'm olive-skinned, yellow undertones). I have been dying for a nude lipstick, i had been using concealer to nude out my pigmented lips but they would always get that nasty white goop (what *IS* that stuff. yuck)
Love it. <3
OH. and it looks amazing with oyster girl by MAC also :)

This is my go-to mac lipstick when i have a dramatic eye. Its the perfect nude for my skin tone and the texture is perfect. I love pairing it with c-thru lipglass.
I have to be very careful with this one! But when I am, it looks faboluos! A dramatic nude I would say, perfect with a smokey eye, but as a day-time lipstick I think its too covering and light for me. I need just a very very tiny amount of this, otherwise my lips become too light, even if they are quite pigmented. I think I'll have to get a clear lipliner to wear with this, so its easier to control the colour-result.
I love nude lips....like I keep ranting I'm a "nude chick" all day everyday lol. I went to a MAC counter and tested Myth on my hand. I loved the shade and purchased it days later. Now....I never tried it on only tested the shade on my hand and when I FINALLY tried it on.....boy oh boy what a surprise ! I didn't expect it to almost look like a concealer lol. I was very iffy on it at first yet didn't bother returning it. I figure I could make it work on me.....which I did ! I only do a few very light dabs on my lips enough to make the natural color of my lips look slightly nude or like I say " dead nude" lol. I either wear it alone for a matte look or I'll apply NARS L/G Turkish Delight over it which looks fab !
Over all....Glad I didn't bother returning it. It's very sexy and edgy when I want to rock a subtle brown smokey eye or grey/black smokey eye look.
TIP: Also great to tone down any pink/peach or even brown L/S. Just a few light dabs on preferred L/S does the trick !
this came out a little too pinkie for me i wanted it to be more like creamy color but it still looks good and i wear it but woulf prefer freckletone
