For 1.99 you can't go wrong! Rimmel is one of my fave DS lines, and their mascara is pretty darned good. ESL gives me rich lashes with very minimal clumping, and they retain that wet look throughout the day- no drying, ever! I have very sparse lashes and ESL gave me a nice natural lash look.
I really love this mascara, I am already a big fan of Rimmel because of their prices and when I ran out of my Maybelline mascara, I only had a few dollars to purchase a back up. I found this, and have been using it ever since. It separates nicely, and adds enough color for lash definition. And again, you can't go wrong for the price-
I love this mascara! Really cheap, but works great- lengthens and darkens, just perfect and affordable. Also doesn't clump.
I actually love this stuff! It's a basic, everyday mascara tbat lengthens and darkens my lashes. I don't care much about volume, since I have short lashes anyway. It will clump if you don't wipe off the excess. But I have no problem with that! Yay for a 2 dollar mascara that I love! =]
The bottomline is that I will buy this product again. I've read the other reviews, and I can only determine their bad experience may be due to old product. I have had great results - the only time I notice clumping is when it's getting time to change to a new tube. Perhaps those who weren't happy with this bought outdated products? The thing I like best about Rimmel's ESLM is that it goes on evenly and I don't look like a televangelist's wife when I'm done.

This is a great mascara, and love the price. Does not leave marks on my upper lids, as some mascaras do (I'm oily).

If using this mascara by itself, I wouldn't give it 4 lippies. By itself, it gives me long lashes, but it kind of clumps my lashes together and I get sparse looking lashes...almost spider-like. So, what I do is use this to lengthen my lashes first. After curling my lashes, I sweep it on the underside and top side of my lashes to give it a nice coating. Then I use a lash comb to seperate and remove any excessive mascara. Next, I used a thickening mascara like Cover Girl's Super Thick Lash and sweep it on and under my lashes as well. I make sure that I get the base of my lashes because it makes my lashes look thick and full. I end up with beautiful fanned out long and thick lashes. I get compliments all the time. Without mascara, I have thin Asian lashes, but luckily, I have lenght. I'll purchase this again to use in conjunction w/ the million other tubes of mascaras that I have. It's dirt cheap. I paid only 3 bucks for 2 tubes because of a BOGOF sale. Even if it's not on sale, it's still dirt cheap. Like I said though, I would not use this mascara on it's own.
This is a really good mascara. I love the shiny black pleathery effect. Doesn't clump, lengthens, and it's dirt cheap!
HORRIBLE! Only $1.99 and performs like it, too. It reminds me very much of the overhyped Maybelline Great Lash in that it gives you thin, wet, spiky, pathetic lashes. I can't believe they are still false-advertising by claiming it adds any volume and/or length at all. I tried it one morning and threw it in the garbage immediately afterward.
This product did nothing for me. I was excited when I found a cheap Extra lash Mascara, however, after applying this stuff, I was so disappointed. It clumps together and doesn't go on smooth at all. The color was supposed to be jet black, however, it came out gray and you could hardly see it on my lashes. I will never repurchase this product again. If I am going to get a low price mascara, I'd rather buy Wet and Wild. Their eye makeup is actually better than you might think. Good quality for a cheap line. Anyway, this Rimmel Mascara was a nightmare. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone ;(
