I liked the color of this mascara and i liked how it made my lashes look (long and very dark), however this literally made my eyes hurt (not just sting, but hurt). I have fairly sensitive eyes though, but because of this I don't think i will be able to use it anymore.

Used it I was very very young and boah, how it looks, the packiging very beautiful and loveliest look I love this blackest black mascara by Maybelline so much it's called Great Lash Mascara and the name blackest black is very nice love it so much absolutely beautiful look very nice

eh.some days it would deliver nice, long black lashes, and other days it would give me two points for lashes. The consistancy is watery and smears easily when wet, and can clump. the brush sucks as well. I love the true black color though... another thing i noticed is that this mascara, made my eyes burn, and i don't have sensitive eyes either. also, it dries out remarkabley quickly, within two weeks of use. will not repurchase.

A good 5CAD mascara! I don't have an opinion about the blackest black part, being Asian, my lashes will be black no matter what. But it did maintain my Shu Uemura curl and after a few layers, it looked very nice- without many clumps!

The horrible downside was that it took long to dry, therefore much smudging and even when dry, it smudged! And no, I didn't put any on my bottom lashes. But it was all there by short time! And that's one thing I REALLY can't stand so I guess this is goodbye! continued >>

This mascara is definitely not going to give you dramatic results, but if you want a good everyday mascara, then this is the way to go. You certainly can't beat the price. It is very wet, so you have to be careful when you apply it, but as long as you apply it slowly, your lashes will be well-defined and dark without any clumps. Also, the wetness gives you time to add additional coats if desired, giving you more thickness. As with any mascara, you may need to use a lash comb from time to time, but overall, it's not nearly as horrible as some people say it is.

what crap.i bought this completly out of curiousity because of its HUGE hype. this did nothing for my eyelashes except add colour. I was so disappointed- this stuff has even been in music videos!! what the hell? the brush is wierd kinda small and the bristles set wide apart...i could have achieved the same results with a 99p mascara. i cant believe the hype this gets, can sum1 pls tell me why????? i will give it 1 lippie cus it is so black.actually i think the mascara itself is ok, its just the brush!!! cus i used it with my maybelline sky high curves brush and it left my lashes beautiful- completely different.

After spending money for Mascaras (Shiseido,Lancome,Estee,Guerain...), I can say, Maybelline Great Lash Blackest Black is my choice now. And I feel relieved.
Cosmetics are really eating up women's wallets.

I replace it every 3 months so it's not worth spending more than $20 for one mascara. I invest more money on good quality powder eyeshadows (which lasts 3 years, I store them in fridge) or foundations. I sometimes buy Chanel or Armani lipsticks, but I don't want to buy expensive Mascara anymore.

I really love this product. I have very long, but fine, lashes and this is the first mascara that I have found that colours my lashes right to the very end. Very black which is great because most black mascaras look grey on me, and its weightles.

Its cheap which is great for my wallet, but doesnt clump or irritate like so many other cheap products.

My eyes are super sensative as well and this hasnt caused one bit of watering or stinging.

The brush does pick up a touch too much product, so I roll it on a tissue and it takes care of that. I can see how it could clump on some people, but wiping off a litle excess product should take care of that no problems.

I love this mascara. I also love department store brand Lancome definition mascara. Maybelline does the same job for less than half the price. I find that the straight brush is the best way to go.

To be completly honest i bought this because i wanted a new cheap mascara and i thought this looked pretty .A few weeks now ive been using this and i really like it and the colour is really dark which is what i love about it.When i use it i only put one coat on for the whole day because thats all i need and when i put two coats on my lashes stick together and it looks like i have about lashes.
