This was £12.50 in Boots. I bought the gorgeous clinique impossibly glossy gloss and needed another item to get my extra 500 boots card points, so got this. For ref, i like big curled, seperated lashes, my fave mascaras so far are ysl faux cils and MF lash perfection(?) (the one with the rubbery brush) I dont wear e/s or anything else on my eyes so i like my lashes to be quite full and thick. This was a really natural mascara. Very subtle, great if u want the natural look. Also it was very black, not grey-black like most mascaras out there. And it was easy to take it off, literally one to 2 swipes with my face wipes got it all off. BUT it was too natural, i thought i would get super thick luscious lashes (ok i wasnt expecting anything as great as faux cils, but as least close-ish!) but rather it gave me 'feathery, natural' lashes. Which i can get with a bunch of much much cheaper mascaras. PIC OF BRUSH IN PROFILE
This is an average mascera. It doesn't thicken or do anything better than any DS brand though. And it flakes and clumps a lot and the bottle gets goopy really easy. I am not a huge fan of any Clinique masceras, but I do love the Clinique brand.
I got this with a GWP and I have bought several tubes of this since. I love it! It gives you a natural look without looking like Tammy Faye Baker! It doesn't take much to use and its great for those of us who don't want to spend a lot of time in the mirror every morning.
High quality product that gets the job done. Creates longer, natural lashes. Very little smudging or clumping, good lash separation, no raccoon eyes so far. The look is understated, more for daytime than night, and only about length, not volume. But I can sure tell the difference between this and my old gloppy mascara. The quality and color are well above drugstore brands. And the $23 "masterpieces" like Dior and Lancome all smudge on me within an hour of application, whereas this has withstood the gym. Excellent for people who have only two seconds each morning for makeup application.
Nice mascara. Doesnt smudge, clump or get flakey. Seperates lashes, makes the look longer and gives them volume. My only complaint is that it doesnt have long staying power like Chanel, Blinc, YSL but it is okay for the price, only smudges after 6 hrs. Toward the end of the day I notice it, but I dont mind.
I got this as a GWP at first, and I've bought 2 tubes since then. This is my favorite mascara at the moment. It makes my lashes look significantly thicker and longer, but its not too unnatural looking. It actually works a little better for me after I've been using tube for a few weeks, as it's almost too watery at first in my opinion, which makes application a little more difficult. After that it absolutly perfect!
Wow! I was so happy I recieved this as a GWP in a duo with the lash building primer (which is also amazing!). It makes my lashes so black and long and thick, without clumping. I was expecting the gift size of it to be really little, but it wasn't. Actually, it was really big. This is now one of my everyday staples!
Received a GWP of this from Clinique. It does thickens and lengthens, doesn't clump, but I feel that this mascara smudges/melts rather easily (I live in hot, humid, tropical country though). Colour is not glossy black, and it doesn't really hold curl. Will update if I find anything more.
I love this mascara, it gives me volume and length, while looking rather natural, but noticable. I hope that makes sense.
Surprisingly great mascara. I have naturally long lashes, but this really did "double" them in terms of volume, and in a very nice, natural way. No clumping or spider lashes here! Added nice length as well, and I'm really impressed with the staying power. No smudging or flaking, no need to touch up. One coat is plenty for everyday, and an extra coat or two gives a dramatic night look. Got this as a GWP but will be repurchasing given that it works so well and is fairly inexpensive for a department store brand!
UPDATE: Had to stop using this after 6 months as something in it was really irritating my eyes, to the point of constant redness. Switched to another mascara and voila, no red eyes.
