Didn't like at first, is growing on me. Skin looks healthy and luminescent, will finish the bottle and most likely rebuy!
it works really good after swimming and helping with dry skin but its a little too thick and oily and it didnt help with any acne.
I received a sample and gave it to my husband and within two weeks his skin looked great, his pores looked dimished and his his razor bumps went away. His skin looks wonderful and he cannot believe how wonderful his skin looks.
i liked aveeno's clear complexion daily moisturizer for the most part, so i decided to give positively radiant a try. bad move. first off, i don't like the texture of it. it feels grainy when i apply it. i think the grainy stuff is what's supposed to make your skin look "radiant." second, my face feels dry about 10 minutes after application. which then makes me apply a second coat. this results in a fatty zit on my nose, forehead, and/or chin. and last, it smells funky. but not funky enough that it can't be tolerated. i have combination skin that tends to lean towards the dry side, so if you have the same skin type, consider yourself warned. i will definitely steer clear from this one.
I have to say this is a good sunscreen for the price. I have sensitive, acne prone skin. For the month I've been using it, I havn't had any reactions. I'm not sure about the radiant part, but it's a nice enough sunscreen. I was using the murad redness therapy spf and this seems just as good. I'm not sure why I didn't break out but other people did? weird!
This stuff was a disaster for me. I started using it in a new skincare regimen after I broke out quite badly. This stuff seemed to make my breakouts worse. I used it for about 6 months and I swear I got a new blemish (zit) on my cheek every other day. I couldn't figure out what was wrong until I finally took this out of my routine and my skin cleared up.
It doesn't add any type of radiant effect so I don't understand the bottle's sheen. Also I hate the way this stuff smells...like beans and cat urine. WILL NOT BUY AGAIN and it's definitely overpriced because it's crap.
The issue with my skin is that it has a tendency to hyper-pigment even after the smallest insults. I figured the Aveeno Positivley Radiant Daily Moisturizer would help me out with a few discolorations I had from past breakouts. Wow, what a mistake. I started getting frequent and nasty breakouts. I get the occasional pimple that heals without much fuss but the ones with this lotion were nasty. They would appear as a small and stiff bumps that over a week developed into a nasty, red and angry pustules. I got a few that left some hyperpigmented scars! It took me a while to figure that this face lotin was the cause...but once I stopped it, the problem went away. I think the shiny stuff in this product clogs pores in even the most calm of skin types...so I would stay away!
I bought this a while back because I wanted a sunscreen with avobenzone in it so that it wouldn't clog my acne prone skin. I don't think this really gave me too many problems (skill got some acne but I had that before anyway). It just would be nice to find a good, inexpensive sunscreen ($20 CND @ Wal-Mart). I also wanted to try it because of the "natural radiance" it talked about, but I didn't notice a difference in how my skin looked when I applied this. Not bad but I think I'm going to try some Neutrogena sunscreens.
I bought this because I have some troubles finding a sunscreen for my sensitive combination skin. It is o.k. I don't mind the smell, it is definitely scented. I like that it did not leave the pasty white residue that some sunscreen can leave on your face. It didn't make my face feel greasy either, but at the same time, I don't really think it is doing anything great either. There is nothing radiant about it. It is just a very ho hum sunscreen. I don't hate it, but I don't think I will buy it again.
I rarely write reviews unless the product is excellent enough to compel me to share it w/ others. So here goes... I have used mostly expensive products but once in a while I will try a drug store product. When it comes to moisturizer for my face, I've tried Shiseido(Pureness, Skincare and whitening line), Chanel, DHC, Clarins, Prescriptives, etc. But the Aveeno Positively Radiant daily moisturizer w/ SPF 15 has been the absolutely best for my skin ever!! And for $14 for a huge 4 oz. pump dispenser! I have a few tiny wrinkles on my forehead that is always present no matter what. I also have a few dark, sun spots that I was never able to rid of even w/ Retin-A and other expensive whitening products. But this simple, cheap lotion did all that for me! I think the soy complex in the lotion may have something to do w/ it. But a month after using this lotion my g/f + co-worker asked me what I did to get my complexion so smooth and radiant. I told her about this lotion and now she is using it and seeing the same result. Ok, I will tell you that at first I didn't like the feel of the lotion. If you have super dry skin, this will not quench the thirst you skin needs. I have combo, asian, sometimes-acne prone on chin skin type. It took about 2 weeks of using it to really fall in love w/ it. What I noticed that kept me going was that after the 2nd day of using it, I wake up to really smooth and soft skin. I didn't know where that came from. I did not put any lotion on at night when going to bed. I only use this lotion in the morning prior to putting on my make-up. You have to try it to believe it. I will definitely stock up on this one. This same lotion now comes in a SPF 30. I'm using the SPF 15 right now and not sure if the higher SPF will break me out.
