Wow, I'm in love with Airy Fairy! It looked a little too nude/ pale in the tube, but it's actually a perfect everyday colour that doesn't wash me out at all, but looks very subtle and polished. The texture is amazing, it's very creamy and moisturizing, and doesn't accentuate dry lips. I'm not crazy about the scent, and it's pretty strong. Like some sort of candy dessert, I can't put my finger on it. The packaging is super ugly as well, but I'm willing to put up with it because the colour is amazing!
I really love this lipstick! I love the color and the texture. It's such a pretty nude pink - goes great as an every day color. I love that sometimes I don't even need to moisturize my lips before apply. It's so moisturizing for me. Overall, I really like it. It does have a scent though. It has a sweet smell. It doesn't smell bad to me, but after a few long whiffs of, it can get a little nauseating. It's only when the lipstick's out and you're applying though. You can't really smell it when it's on your lips. I'd highly recommend this lipstick! The only con is its crappy packaging. The cap is really lose, and the lipstick actually hits the side of the tube when winding it up/down. That part really sucks.
I love this, for me, it is great for everyday use. It is not drying, and stays put quite well. The only thing I wish they would improve is the packaging, it is really quite ugly and plain, and the cap opens a little too easily for my comfort.
I just recently purchased this lipstick after all of the amazing reviews that it got. Airy Fairy is a light pink/nude color with a bit of a metallic shimmer to it. The formula feels a lot like Lustre from MAC, which is my absolute favorite, so there is a bit of a glossy look to it as well. Overall, the color looks fairly decent on my olive complexion. It gives me a very girly/barbie look that I was surprised to like. It also doesn't dry out my lips either, which is always a plus. Airy Fairy also smells a lot like Halloween candy. It doesn't bother me, but it may bother others.
I love this almost as much as my NYX Thalia. I can understand why some reviewers aren't happy with it because it does look better on olive skin tones. I am very fair but with NYX Goddess of the Night gloss in Natural over it, I like it very much. Pinky nudes are my favorite lip color and this is a little more pink than I'd normally like but it was a nice change. And the tube is on the plump side so it feels like a big lipstick...just kind of fun.
My favourite lipstick. I keep one in my purse and one in my collection because I wear it so much. The shade is just perfect. I also LOVE how these lipsticks smell - but they have no taste, which is perfect. Creamy and great. Cute packaging. Not much more I can say - I will repurchase again and again. One thing I will mention, though, is with any matte lipstick (or most lipsticks for that matter), you should exfoliate your lips from time to time, or it will go on slightly clumpy and not look as nice.
I'm a fair-medium half Asian with warmer undertones and this lipstick was pretty unremarkable on me. Applied lightly, it just looks like a faintly shimmery satin but my lip color remained the same. It was more like a sheer gloss than a lipstick, but my lips did look a tiny bit fuller. It wasn't really MLBB on me though. Piling it on, the lilac tones start coming out and it's not the most flattering on my skin tone. I had to apply a lot of product to get to that point.
The texture of the lipstick was nice. It didn't seem to dry my lips out and it applied very smoothly. The scent didn't bother me, but it might after a few hours. I'm not sure how to describe it, somewhere between a waxy lipstick scent and a synthetic candy scent. It is not very strong, but could be bothersome to those sensitive to perfumes. The lipsticks were not sealed on the shelf, so definitely check your tube before purchasing. I can see where this would be a nice lipstick for a cooler toned person or for those who want a very subtle lip look.
I love this color so much. Looks great on olive skin. Price is decent. The smell is ok. Texture is great.
I really like the formula and the consistency of Rimmel's lipsticks, but this color looked awful on me. It looks gorgeous on my friend who also has olive/tan skintone...like a nude mauvy pink, similar to the pictures seen on here. For me, it became a cool bright lilac and washed me out. Really weird! I even kept looking at the label underneath wondering "Did I grab the wrong one? Is this really Airy Fairy?" Something to do with my undertones I suppose, but this didn't look flattering on me at all. I didn't wanna give it a horrible rating though because, like I said, it's gorgeous on my friend. So, you really don't know how this will look on you unless you try it. I suggest buying it at Walgreens or CVS. If needed, they accept returns without a problem, especially when it comes to picking the wrong shade.
This is my absolute favorite lipstick! I've always under estimated Rimmel when it comes to lip products, since I've had bad experiences in the past that put me off this brand when it comes to their lip products. But now I'm back on the wagon! I bought this because it was marked down to $3.50 and I figured I wouldn’t lose anything if I didn't like it. When I got home I was blown away by the colour, the texture, the scent and I even like the simple packaging! I use this nearly every day, while my MAC lipsticks are sitting in my drawer feeling neglected! I even went out to target and bought 2 more shades full price (pink blush and heavenly).
