I absolutely LOVE this product, it works great on my skin and is a lot lighter than many other concealers that I've had before.
The consistency isn't too thick or sheer and it's perfect for day to day wear and blends fantastically!
The only downside would be that packaging makes it hard to get the last remaining parts of concealer with it's lip gloss like tube, but it doesn't personally bother me.
Definitely going to buy this concealer again!
This concealer is pretty good. Its really rare that I find a concealer that matches my skin...so #350 does wonders. It covers up my blemishes. I dont really have under-eye darkness, so I wouldn't know about that. The only problem is that it tends to oil up as the day goes on. And I have a feeling that this transfers or melts of easily because, at the end of the day, IT DISAPPEARS!!! But other than that, this concealer is...fine. :)
Everything that comes in contact with this concealer tube gets product all over it; from my brushes to things in my purse. The packaging is awful. I'm so angry. As for the formula, though it matches my skin and covers, it feels thick and icky on my skin. Its not worth it for me to ever own this again.
Having run out of my HG concealer (Maybelline Mineral Power), I decided to give this a run. I can't even express how much I love love LOVE this. I'm in the colour "Sand" and this makes all my dark circles disappear (and I have a LOT of them). If I were stuck on a deserted island...this would be my go-to product (although why would you bring makeup in that situation...)
Fit me is such a good undereye concealer, for me anyway, however it does close to nothing for blemishes. It's a little bit sheer, which I don't mind because I hate the way opaque concealers look under my eyes. That being said, I usually have 2 different concealers: a liquid for under my eyes and a cream for acne and scarring. So if you are looking for full coverage, you will not find it in this product. But for me, it works well for the more minor issues on my face.
I really like this for under my eyes to hide my dark circles. I use the lightest shade, 10. I don't like it for covering other spots on my face, I find that it doesn't cover as well. I will repurchase if I don't have the urge to try something new, as I really like the way it covers under my eyes.
I got #15 because im super white. I liked it at first even tho it was a little darker than i would have liked. When I first got it, it went on so nice and literally cut my makeup-doing time in half and didn't make me break out. I used this for about a couple months without any issues. But lately when i use it, it doesn't cover as well and turns orange. I haven't changed anything in my routine my skins the same it almost seems as if its gone bad, but i only bought it two maybe three months ago! I'm dissapointed because i liked this so much when i first got it and it didn't irritate my skin. oh well!
This is a pretty good concealer. A little on the sheer side, but can be used sort of like a foundation on problem areas. I'll copy my review from http://basemakeupreviews.blogspot.com/2011/09/review-concealer-maybelline-fit-me.html
(you can see swatches of it there)
First Impressions: As I said before, the packaging is very simple and chic. Much better than the over-the-top logos and flashy letters I see in so many drugstore brands. Anyway, the concealer is in a standard "lip-gloss" tube with the spongey tipped applicator (what're they called again?). No complaints here.
Color: I got this in "Sand 20", which is a great match for my current NC30 skin with olive yellow undertones. When I was NC35, this provided a nice brightening effect, but now that I'm lighter, I can use it all over for an even match. I would say even someone slightly lighter than NC30 can use it, if they wanted to use it instead of foundation. I prefer this shade for use on the face and not the under-eyes, as it does nothing to offset the undertone of my dark circles. There are 6 shades in total, ranging from light to medium-deep. If you are not very light or dark, you will be spoiled with choice.
Coverage and Wearability: The coverage is on the sheer side, but can be built up to medium. It may seem redundant to use this if you use full coverage foundations, but for those who like things sheerer, this would be for you. I have seen pictures of other beauty bloggers using this instead of foundation--dabbing and blending on problem areas such as cheeks and around the nose--and it looks great. Also, it doesn't look cakey at all.
The wear of this concealer is moderate. It's not the worse, but I've used more long-wearing ones. If you built the coverage to cover a blemish, it will definitely fade over time and reveal the blemish if you're oily. Pressing loose powder over the concealed areas with a puff, then buffing away helps prolong the wear, but I think you'd have better luck with a true long-wear concealer, such as Canmake's Cover & Stretch Waterproof Concealer (near holy grail status for me).
Overall: Though this isn't the most long-wearing, high coverage concealer out there, it does get points for having a non-cakey finish and good yellow-based color selection. Since it can double as a light foundation, I can see myself carrying this in my makeup bag if I needed to go on a short trip (and didn't want to bring a full foundation bottle).
While I have found uses for this concealer, it may not be for you if you want something full coverage.
I give it a 3.5 out of 5.
I HATE it!!!
The coverage is wayyyyyyy to sheer.
I tried it at the chemist, and I must admit, i was quite impressed!!!! I end up buying it in the color 35! Super lightweight texture, longwearing formula, highly pigmented, super nice product! Give it a try!!!
