I use this product for my dark undereye circles. I use shade NC20 applied with a 194 brush. I love it - it is definitely the best concealer I have found so far. I used YSL Touche Eclat but found after a while it wasn't giving me enough coverage so I had to keep layering it on which ended up making me look horrible! The packaging is great - very simple and chic looking. The price is more than I would usually pay (£11.50 - 5ml) but I will be buying this product again. The only annoying thing it tends to gather in a little crease under my eye which I have to wipe away.
This is a pretty decent concealer. Not great, though. Does light-medium coverage, but never seems to get anything beyond that for me. The color matching is great though, so I appreciate that. I use with a 242 brush, so I don't know how the applicator works, but that brush works just fine. I'd recommend this concealer especially if you don't have TOO much to cover, like acne, but if you do have acne (like I do in some areas)... I don't really see it helping.
I never bought from MAC before but a friend was up and she used the concealor in the pot and it really looked good on her, so I decided to try it as well-It blended so perfectly-
So I went to buy some and decided I didn't need a heavy coverage like my friend and decided upon the Moisturecover, which is lighter and thinner-
It's so nice-It glides right on, never ever is flaky and doesn't cake up on me-It's the first time I've used something under my eyes that looks right-It blends perfectly with my skin tone and does the job-
And it's super cheap, I really like it and will continue to buy this product-
This is a great concealer. It's very light weight compared to the Studio Finish. Easy to apply with the wand and very blendable. The fact that MAC offer it in so many exact colors is even better because you can use it to camouflage completely as opposed to other brands that come in 3 shades.
Coverage is great for my under eye darkness - hereditary... doesn't settle in lines either.
This product is very user friendly for beginners in makeup. It has the same packaging as lipglasses with the sponge tip applicator so it is really easy to apply where it is needed. I just apply a few dots and use a concealer brush or a cosmetics sponge to blend it out. It has a very creamy and smooth consistency. It works well to camouflage under eye circles and blemishes. Originally I was planning on buying MAC's studio finish concealer but it made my dark circles even more noticeable. Very happy with this product and would definitely recommend.
Nice for undereye use, but not much difference between Moisturecover and undereye concealers I've used from the drugstore (Rimmel, Revlon). Packaging is sleek, modern, and sanitary. Great selection of colours. Product doesn't seem to last particularly long once applied, though.
When I went in to buy this, the SA gave me a weird look, commented that I didn't need this, then applied it for me. (My dark circles don't really get too heavy, but a concealer is always nice to have) I just started using this product, after feeling slightly fed up with trying to use benefit's bo-ing, which just seemed too dry for me. It covers small blemishes and lighter dark circles decently, comes in a convenient tube, and only requires a small dot per eye. It's also rather inexpensive, which is another plus. The cons to this, however, is that it requires a powder to set it or it will crease. As of now, I feel ok about the product, but only time will tell whether or not i actually repurchase this later.
edit:knocked off another lippie b/c it gave me a couple pimples...
It would have been a decent undereye concealer but an hour after application, it starts to gather into the fine lines I have under my eyes. Too bad, because it was very moisturizing and the color NW 15 worked great on my PPP skin.
For a quick go to concealer, I love this! It is easy to color match, apply, carry, etc. I used to use this all the time for dark under eye circles, but it isn't the best for that, but not bad. It creases a bit because of the runny texture, but I like it because it never looks or feels cakey and can be worn by itself.
pretty good stuff.
i mix a bit of it with my moisturizer to create a tinted moisturizer which i use all over my face (it doesn't break me out) and then go back and pat it over my undereyes and any spots that need to be covered up.
so basically its my tinted moisturizer and concealer in one, which also makes it great for travelling.
really good for undereyes because of how moist it is, but you do have to set it with powder so that it doesn't slide off. i can layer it as many times as i need too without worrying about cakiness.
not so good with full blown zits, but really, what is?
if you have a fairly well behaved skin with only the occasional pimple and your main concerns are dark undereye circles and uneven skintone/redness, this product is amazing because you can do the whole tinted moisturizer and concealer thing with this one tube=)
i love it.. and dare i say................ i have found my HG! ...because, did i mention? It.Does.Not.Make.Me.Break.Out! (most of mac's foundations do) there, now i've probably jinxed it, lol
