This eyeshadow is fabulous for a simple, quick and neutral look for school. I like to use Pasheema in the inner half and All That Glitters all over more concentrated on the outer half of the lid. It goes on pretty sheer, but the color is easily build able. Great for when i'm in a rush. Such a gorgeous color, definitely buy again!
One of my HG colors from MAC. Gorgeous color. Shimmery pinky gold. For days that I want to step out quickly, sweep this on and always looks fabulous. Have bought this countless times.
I guess I shouldn't have been so quick to judge. Next time I'll spend at least a week trying on the product before I write a review lol. Anyway, this is a very unique color, and it's not exactly the same as NYX's champagne as I previously thought. All That Glitters is a duochromed golden color but pinky too. Under different lighting, the color changes but the eyeshadow is pretty when matched with the right crease color.
at the mac store i totally fell in love wit this color and bought it. when i came home i swatched it again. the COLOR looked so different i might have gotten a bad one. the color was a lot golder than the one i swatched in the store, but ontop of painterly paint pot wit a silvery brown(like urban decays YDK) in the outer V it looks so pretty. so i will probably buy it again.
UPDATE- i did get a bad one the new one i have is true to pan and its gorgeous.
it's really pretty and looks great with twinks, blackberry or any golds/nuetrals. it is a bit pinker than i expected though, and looks almost exactly like "hey" from the fafi eyes 1 quad which i already owned
It's described as a midtone beige with gold reflects on the MAC site, but All that Glitters is definitely a pinkish shadow on fairer skin. On me it is a warm frosted pink with a hint of brown. I do like it, and the hint of brown means it goes well with lots of other neutrals (I have worn it with Soba, Mulch and Twinks). Worn on its own, though, it can look too pink, which makes my eyes look irritated. I would certainly recommend this for ladies with medium to dark skin, but if you're fair you do have to be careful with this one.
This is probably one of my favorite eyeshadows ever! It's perfect if you use this as an all over lid colour and then maybe use a brown in the crease it's gorgeous I will definitely buy this again
Absolutely gorgeous color. Use it all the time as a highlight. Definitely one of MAC's best eyeshadows and one of my favorites of all time! Have repurchased it numerous times and will continue to in the future. Also, the first shadow I hit pan on!
I have yet to find and eyeshadow that I love more. That simple!
Love this frosty pinky goldy highlighter type hue likened to Naked Lunch but Naked Lunch has more pink in it. All that Glitters is a bit more muted. It is my go to shade to begin a daytime nuetral look. For reference I am tanned thanks to the sun day in and out living in FL for the past few years even though I never dare to leave the house without SPF moisturizer on. Currently a NC42 in MAC or a Honey Beige in Bobbi Brown. All that Glitters works really well when worked in the inner corner of your eyelid and with other colors layered from the halfway point of your eye to out to the edge of your eye (left to right). I like to put All that Glitters down on the first half of your eye, then layer "Texture" (matte brown based shadow) eyeshadow on the remaining half, then take a MAC 224 blending brush and blend that a bit, then layer "Embark" (dak matte brown based shadow) eyeshadow on top of Embark to smoke it out a bit. Make sure you take your 224 brush and swirl/blend the Texture and Embark side . Then lastly I like to take "Soft Brown" (a nice natural brown) and blend that on the brow bone softening any harsh lines of makeup that you may not have blended well together.
