I LOOOOOVE this product. The staying power is amazing. I was introduced to this by one of the vendors for UD, and I was hooked immediately. I have really oily lids and have ALWAYS had a problem with shadows creasing, doesn't matter what kind i use. I started using this before the shadows and they lasted forever. I even got really lazy before a big morning event and did my eyes the night before. I slept through the night and the shadows didn't budge. LOVED that haha. The only downside is the packaging. No offense but it is HORRIBLE. You can't tell how much you have left, and there's no way you can make sure you get it all out. I like Too Faced's Shadow Insurance tube better, and while the products are really similar, I have a preference for UD.

This stuff is awesome! To be honest, I didn't even know I was supposed to use an eyeshadow primer until I started visiting the FOTD board. Impulsively, I picked up Loreal DeCrease at Wal-Mart and when that didn't work out (it was CRAP!) I decided to go with the popular vote and pick this up. Now I can even use my cheapie E.L.F shadows and they last and last! I'll definitely never be without this again.

EDIT: taking one lippie off because, as others have mentioned, you don't really get your money's worth because you can't get all of the product out due to the package design. I've begun using Bare Escentuals Prime Time.

I love it when a product exceeds my expectations. This lives up to the hype. It's worth it!

I love this. I have the most oily lids ever. I am not exaggerating.
When I wear eyeshadow or top eyeliner this helps keep is in place and not smudge.
I use under my eye also when I wear eyeliner and it somewhat helps. I have very oily eyelids though so if you have slightly oily lids or you want a fresh eyemakeup look and you have normal skin then this would help a lot.
Without this my eyes would look sloppy and gross.

What else can i say about this product that hasn't already been said.....I can't believe i waited so long to try it, i feel foolish, because i never wanted to spend the $17. But its SO worth it! I wore it under my eyeshadow before going to work (at a movie theater), and i can tell you, i was sweating and hot and disgusting, and it managed to keep my eyeshadow looking perfect through it all! WOW! go buy it! HG

Does exactly what it promises, and does it all day long. This, or at least a primer of comparable quality (I haven't tried enough to be able to name one, yet), qualifies as a staple to anyone who wears eyeshadow, full stop! The packaging is difficult, impractical, and ugly, but it could be sold much worse containers and I'd still buy it up. I'll definitely be cutting mine open to scrape out and repackage the last bits when the time comes (there are pictures on MUA of this procedure and just how much product it yields - wow!)

I’ve read wonderful things about this product and finally decided to give in and buy it.
Pros: easy application; performs miracles in terms of adding to the staying power of eye shadows (I put on makeup 6AM, and it’s still in place at 9PM when I get my shower.)
Cons: cost; packaging could be more efficient
The bottom line: It was definitely worth the cost. Previously, no matter what eye shadow I’ve tried, it creased in a couple of hours. This makes buying expensive eye shadow worthwhile because it’ll still be in place by the end of the day, and it also means I can get some cheaper ones, and they’ll last, too.

I had read about this product everywhere, every makeup guru on youtube has it, it's everyone's HG primer. I finally got my genie bottle for christmas from my sister (along with the UD ammo palette) and it's great. I used it today with loads of e/s on my lids and nothing creased, it all stayed put and beautiful, love it!
