This product works fantastically. The problem, as most reviewers have mentioned is the packaging. It is an adorable bottle that really does remind you of a "potion," but it means that so much product is left inaccessible! I have seen videos of people cutting theirs open and it is amazing how much primer is left even when the brush comes up empty. The other issue with the packaging is storing it. It is so tall and has such a small base that it is constantly tipping over on my counter top and rolling onto the floor. In spite of these flaws, I would buy this again, I'm just hoping Urban Decay will see the light and re-package this before I do.

To be honest I don't why so many people give this product a bad review. This stuff is amazing, seriously i wouldn't get/ use anything else. I am a primer junkie seriously I have used it all. Mac paints(which I love but don't last as long) Sephora pot primer which is good stuff but does crease after 8 hours. By far this is the best primer I have ever used! However, the packaging sucks but besides that I love it !

oh my.
i was hesitant to buy this because of all the crappy reviews because of the packaging of this product. i bought it anyways because 90% of the reviewers would buy this again. so i picked one up at sephora for about $20 canadian. i used it for the first time today.
i've had my coastal scents eyeshadow on for about 8 hours now and not a single crease! i went to the mall and was home for the rest of the day. my face got oily, naturally, but the shadow is still looking fresh and vibrant!
i'm not one of those girls who doesnt mind spending ridiculous amounts of money on high end make up, but this was definitely worth it!!!
i apply this primer on my clean lids and wait a bit for it to settle and dry. then apply my shadow which goes on nice and smooth, no tugging or problems.
a few months ago i wasnt one to wear shadow specifically because of creasing even though i bought the cs palette.. now, i'll be using more eye shadow more than ever. now i understand why so many girls rave about this! it's great.
*this dries out my lids and somewhat irritates my skin, but it's worth it

I really like this primer, the container is the worst but the product is awesome for making my mineral shadows wear ALL day long for real, look for youtube tutorials to see how to depot your potion to get it all!

I have super sensitive, watery, and oily eyes and this will keep my makeup on all day! I can even go to a rave and my makeup won't smudge at all through the whole night. I don't know how I survived without it before. Packaging obviously sucks, but at least it looks pretty.
Definitely recommend to everyone, it may seem expensive but it lasts a long time (if you know to cut the package open and not throw it away)

I got a tester for this since i was reading soooooooooo many reviews about this and on youtube. its great but the packaging is bad so you're not getting your $'s worth. I tried manyyyyyyyy brands of eyeshadow primers. surprisingly what stayed on my lids alllll day without creasing was ofcourse mac paint pots and i tried my own experiment. i put Monistat powder chafing gel (not only as a primer but on my lids). i'm not even kidding my makeup was easily blendable and it stayed put allllllllll day like 12 hours. the trick is u gotta use a teeeeeny amount, maybe pea size and distribute it evenly all over your face. let it DRY ladies for 2 min. then do your regular makeup. if i found out about this BEFORE i bought the mac paint pot, i wouldn't have bothered purchasing anything else! it's about $5 at target or other drug stores. it does wonders....go to youtube and search on it.

I have to add another super review of this stuff.. It is the greatest thing ever in the history of primers (with the exception of the packaging - has anyone asked UD about this???). My eye shadow never stays put... EVER so after all the great reviews I dropped the $$ on a tube and I'm hooked.

The only downside for me personally however is that I have a few creases/wrinkles in my lids so if you don't smooth it out completely ahead of time you'll put on your eyeshadow, with creases... oops!

I also cannot use it on my bottom lid because my concealer cakes up on top of it. No biggie though I don't usually put eyeliner on the bottom anyway. Was just testing it to see if it would hold my concealer down for the day too. :)

GO BUY THIS STUFF!!! Lol!

I have been a loyal user of Benefit FY...Eye primer for at least 5 years. However, I was given a travel/makeup kit (which included UD primer potion) a year ago. On a recent trip I took the mini/travel size primer with me, and to my suprise, I think I'm hooked! This potion is sheer, not nude, and leaves NO color on my lids. FY..Eye left a peachy/orange tint. And after using UD for 2 weeks, I have noticed how soft my eyemakeup looks, in a good way! My shadow lasts ALL day with no creasing (slight tendency to have oily lids in the summer) but the primer potion doesn't distort my eyeshadow colors. All this time I thought my MAC Jest was a frosty peach, and now I see it's a delicate pearly cream! I did notice that even in the mini, I couldn't get all of the product out, so I finally bought a full size tube today.

GREAT PRODUCT especially if you have oily lids like me! It really makes the shadow stay put ALL day! And it leave the color as vibrant as it was when you first put it on your eyelid. I was totally amazed by UDPP. The packaging is cute, but it has the issue of not allowing you to access ALL the product, due to the curvy tube it comes in. But you can simply cut it open when you think you are running out. The price is tad bit pricey, but it really does it's job!

This stuff is truly a miracle product for me. I pretty much ONLY wear mineral makeup, more specifically Everyday Minerals, and those of us who have used it know how sometimes their eyeshadows are hard to get to show up, to look vibrant like they should, and to LAST. I had gone back and forth from their e/s to regular ones for a couple years because I got so tired of having it fade off after an hour or so. Finally I decided I'd give this a go. I am SO glad I did. I just washed my face 12 hours after having applied my eyeshadow and it still looked *just* as fresh and vibrant as it did right after putting it on. That's just amazing to me. I was even wearing a pastel shadow and those NEVER show up well on me and definitely don't last long at all. With this, the lilac color stayed true all day and night. I'm in awe. Barring any kind of allergic reaction or drying out of the lids, I will most definitely continue purchasing this. As everyone else has said, the packaging is totally impractical and I'm not looking forward to trying to get the last bits out. It does look cute, but geez. Also, for those of you with sensitivities to bismuth oxychloride, be warned that this product does contain it. I wasn't aware of that when I bought it and my skin doesn't like it very much, but for whatever reason this isn't causing me any problems. I hope that continues! Love this stuff!
