i bought this at walmart. this stuff is AHHH-MAZiNG:)
i use it as a night time moisterizer.
this made my skin super soft and it wasn't greasy nor did it clog up my pores!:) i think this helped with my dry skin too.
i also use this on dry patches around my body like my knees and stuff and it works nicely:) i also use it for my hands when my hands feel dry.
i love the smell, i think some ppl that says it smells bad just had a bad patch idk but i liked it. it didn't smell offending to me.
CONs: contains alot i mean ALOT of ingredients that i hate.... like alot of parabens and silicons... so if your going for an all natural product do not buy this.
i would buy this again.. but i like trying out new products and i'm more into the whole natural products type a gal. but serisouly i love this this stuff.. soo idk really..
UPDATE: idk if this is due to this or to coconut oil, but my face broke out... so i don't think i'll be using this as a moisterizer anymore.. i think it's to much for my face:( and i rarely get any pimples so i KNOW something is wrong(when i say i rarely i mean only probably 2 pimples a month now i have like.. 5 and it's been there for a month.. arrggghh frustrating) but yeah.. i like it for a moisterizer for my hands though. and it's really good for that because i get really dry hands now. so it still has some use. overall i don't think i'll be using this anymore..
I'm never one to buy the same product twice (UNLESS it is absolutely amazing) because I like to try new ones, but this moisturizer is one of the few products that I have in fact bought more than once!
I bought it in the tube version. It glides onto my skin smoothly and absorbs quickly, but the reason I like this product so much is because it still leaves a nice "sticky" base for applying face powder.
It's a pretty good product and I don't really have anything negative to say about it except for maybe the scent. Using scented stuff on your face isn't usually a good idea, so I wouldn't recommend it to those of you with really sensitive or acne-prone skin.
This was my first Nivea product, and while it's great, I prefer the original in the blue tin/container. This contains silicones, which just don't agree with my skin :( I'm not one to be alarmist over parabens, but this contains those as well.
This does help somewhat with my flaky, dry winter skin, and it actually makes a decent base for makeup! I noticed that this would break me out after a few weeks of usage, which I attribute to the silicones. It does make a great body moisturizer, though. I'm neutral on the scent, but for those of you who don't like how thick the original Nivea Creme is, this is a great alternative.
Amazingg amazing amazing! I got the tube version to try it out...and I'm hooked.
Use it as a hand lotion though, because my face is combo/acne- prone.
But HG for hand cream! I'm not gonna like the tin though, I can tell.
I think this is one of the best moisturizers I've used. I have combination (and acne-prone) skin and the winters are always the worst for me. I first bought Ponds Dry Cream because it seemed like the "universal moisturizer for dry skin" but I was wrong. It did not work for me - I found it way too thick, it made my skin look greasy, and I broke out a couple times. I then turned to Nivea's instead after reading the reviews here and I am absolutely in love with it. I've been using it for a couple days now and I can already see the difference on my face. It's very smooth, light (but provides great moisture), and absorbs quickly into your skin. After using this, my acne has gotten alot and noticeably better (it was horrible when using Ponds). I no longer have dry patches on my skin when applying liquid foundation too. I will religiously be only using this moisturizer now. I'm happy I don't have to go searching for a moisturizer anymore!
This is your basic moisturizing cream. It's best for very dry or winter skin. This is the cream that got my skin back to normal after Clindoxyl gel dried the hell out of it. It's very moisturizing, and it does make your skin very soft. I like it best as a night cream, I wake up and my face is fresh and soft and glowy. Plus, it does not have SPF, so points off for that. If you wear it during the day I suggest you get a foundation with SPF or a different sunscreen.
It comes in either a little white tub (good for getting out every last bit), or a white squeeze tube (more hygenic, and also easy to cut open to get to the last bits). The packaging is nothing special, pretty no-fuss and simple. The price is very affordable.
It's not oil-free, and it's fragranced, so it may not be best for you if you have extra sensitive or breakout-prone skin. I don't mind the scent, it's kind of a fresh baby powder smell, but it seems kind of unnecessary. It can be used as a hand or foot cream, though I've only used it on my hands once. It worked pretty well, but still not as good as my normal Curel lotion.
Aside from all this though, it's a very hydrating cream. I definitely reccomend it if you have dry skin. It also seems to reduce redness in my skin, so points for that!
LOVE this cream. Very soft and moisturizing, and smells nice too. My skin feels really soft when I use it.
I have dry skin and it's really hard for me to find a cream that moisturizes my face without having to put on so much coats. I always apply this after I get out of the shower or wash my face. It really does moisturize my skin without making it feel or look greasy or oily. It leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth and I don't even need to apply a lot on. I have both the jar and the tube versions and I always have the tube in my purse just in case.
Overall, this product does what it's suppose to do and I really like it. I would buy this product again.
I havE oily, and acnE-proNE skin, but i apsolutEly loVE this moisturizEr.At day-tiME,it is littlE bit thick, but i found that is grEat for night carE,it makEs my skin vEry soft, and also it rEducEs rEdnEss.But it works for hand crEam too,so i always kEEp thE smallEr vErsion in my pursE!
I love this stuff. It leaves my skin so soft and moisturized and the scent is very fresh and clean. I prefer this one over the Nivea Creme - I think that one is way too thick and greasy. I've tried a lot of lotions and body creams, but this is the one I keep coming back to.
