I am not really sure about this product just yet. I have been using this for about a week now and I am pretty sure that I like it. The product itself is nice, it really helps to smooth out my skin and I actually like that it is slightly tacky. I use just powder foundation, so that stickiness is great because I do like a heavier coverage. My face looks flawless except for my zits. It is also SPF 50, which is a huge bonus, and I do like how little product I actaully need to cover my face.
Now for what I dislike. There is very little oil control and redness reduction in this product; have problems with both and this really didn't help with either like MAC claims.
The packaging is not good. It is in this oddly shaped sqeeze tube and I swear that the printing is upside down because my tube cannot stand up that way on its own. I wish that it was a pump too. I do love the pink/green sparkles in the plastic though. The price really gets me too, I mean it is only 1 oz.
All in all I will probably repurchase because I do like it, but this product is no miracle in a squeeze tube by any means.
EDIT: Holy cow, this stuff is really drying out my skin! I am getting huge scaly flaky patches all over my face. I use not only two moisturizers wet but I put glycerin on after that and this primer is sucking the moisture out of my face! I will have to wait for spring to be able to use this whe my skin get back to normal. I will no longer repurchase.
I got this when MAC had the f&f 25% off
30ml/1 fl oz for $28

I purchased the MAC primer without the SPF last year and felt a little guilty that I did not pick this one with the SPF. When the f&f discount came around, I really had no excuse not to buy this.
The texture is light & smooth. It glides on effortlessly with a soft matte finish. The oil-absorbing formula is a nice bonus for my oily skin! I know it may sound wierd, but I kind of miss the shimmers from the non-SPF formula primer. I used to hate shimmers because it makes my oily skin look terrible. Nowadays, shimmers brighten my complexion so that it's not so dull/fatigued looking. There is no scent, oil, or visible whiteness. The formula is really good. My pores were less visible! YAY!!
The packaging on the other hand is a different story. It is not stable and wobbles around knocking into my other products. I love the airless pump that the non-SPF primer comes in.
The price is a bit steep for a 1 fl oz primer.
I would not repurchase because there are other primers out there that are better in terms of making my skin smooth & flawless and has SPF.

LOVE this product!!! I have been using it for 3+ years and have never been disappointed. I have tried other primers, but always come back to this. I can apply my full face of makeup and it last 16 hours with only a touch up or two of blotting powder within that time. The only thing I hate is the packaging, difficult to dispense and I can never tell how much is left, plus it is quite expensive.
I have been using this primer for over 6 months, and i am very happy to say that it works wonderfull for me, i have combo skin and in the winter it tends to get dry and flaky, so i was maiinly looking for something that was going to act as a moisturizer as well (because i dont like to put moisturizer, spf, then primer and all that stuff it would make me feel heavy) so this is a great all in one product i love it!!! saves me time and works awsome and does not break me out! i recently got persuaded into buying the smash box photo phinish primer so i will be trying it soon, but i dont think it will work as well as my mac one. :)
this product broke my out--however, before it did, it was very smooth, and great underneath the studio stick foundation.

I really am loving this product. I really am hating how tiny the bottle is compared to the price. I was not expecting this. I have acne prone skin and so far this seems to not be breaking me out. I chose this over regular prep & prime because I have a lot of hyperpigmentation and want to keep it from getting worse. It does help my makeup stay put. My blush usually dissapears even though I have combo to dry skin at the moment and this keeps it where I brush it on in the morning. It does make my skin look smoother but not as dramatically as other primers I have used. (which, consequently, have broken me out horribly. Especially all smashbox primers.) continued >>
i read some reviews on this before purchasing, and bought it despite the very expensive price. the container was way smaller than i thought it would be, and the product does not seem to sink in; i guess thats the sunscreen part of it, but i figure that if its a face primer as well, it shouldnt leave your face sticky, should it? i guess that kinda defeats the purpose. anyways, if your aobut to buy this, DONT!! save yourself the time and money and get something from smashbox instead
This is basically sunscreen lotion. The oil control is nothing extraordinary, but still decent. I do love the SPF though. However, it does not provide a nice, soft canvas for foundation (unlike Prime Time or Smashbox's Photo Finish.) It also does little to improve my complexion. I do not plan on repurchasing.
