I love That Gal! It brightens my face and smells wonderful. Doesn't break me out. Sometimes I don't even need a blush since it really gives me a nice glow. But it's really expensive! $28 lasts about one month. I probably would not purchase it again.

This is an overal good product for anyone who wants to correct before foundation. Definitely counteracts against redness and evens out skin pretty good. i dont use it often, but when i do, i definitely see a difference. not the BEST primer, works better as a corrector. Cosistensy is nice and doesnt make my skin oily. Sometime the primer gets dried up in the tiny little holes even though the bottle is covered which causes the primer to come out of certain holes and not the other. Make sure your face is squeeky clean if your applying directly from the bottle, other wise you're looking at a breeding camp for bacteria. I use my foundation brush to remove from bottle and apply on my face. The scent is nice, a very subtle fruit smell, and its a very light pink, but doesnt show up on your face like that lol.
I was very skeptical at first because I tried Dr. Feelgood as a primer 3-4 years ago and it completely broke me out. That experience put me off Benefit products for quite some time. I decided to give their products another go after the sweetest makeup artist at a Benefit counter approached me recently. I really like how this primer subtly brightens my complexion and gives my face a perfectly smooth canvas for foundation application. It works wonderfully with both powder and liquid foundation formulas. Lasting power is excellent, it smells really good, and feels quite hydrating on my skin. I quite like the twist-tube, double-lidded packaging. And most importantly, it didn't cause my skin to break out! My only complaint is that it is far too expensive considering the amount of product you get in the tube. For this reason I'm unsure if I'll repurchase -- I may just keep exploring for more economical alternatives.

My mother and I have sensitive skin and this product (which we first used as a sample) does not cause her skin, or mine, to break out, it brightens well, and my makeup goes on smooth. I apply it with a foundation brush before applying my mineral makeup. I also run the brush under my eyes after I am done to brighten one more time. In the humidity that is GA, it holds up surprisingly well. It does not stay matte, but I still have makeup on (nothing survives this heat. NOTHING). I don't mind the price because it doesn't break me out. I'd prefer better packaging because I CANNOT see how much product I have left and must keep samples on hand at all times. Overall though, it is the best primer I have used on my skin. (Smashbox makes me break out in several places, even though their regional MA assured me it would not. He lied to me, I told him I have super sensitive skin...)
Paying $28 dollars for this made me believe I was getting a great product. I actually love BeneFit products, but this left me sourly disappointed. It did not brighten up my completion, however it did improve the look of under eye circles, which was probably the only thing that kept the rating respectable. When too much is applied I get those odd sticky clumps and when too little is applied my skin is left feeling not smooth at all. The packaging got dirty easily and the product squeezes out of the cap so easy! Overall, I would not purchase this product again. I legit wish I listened to my gut and just bought the Smashbox Photofinish Primer !!
I bought the Bright Light Big City Pouch from Sephora, which includes a full size That Gal, full size Bright Eyes pencil, and a full size navy blue mascara for $48. I would not have purchased That Gal on its own.
Pros:
--This product makes my face feel very silky and smooth when I apply it.
--It has a very light, subtle berry smell
--The product imparts a very subtle sheen of pink. I am fair really doesn't make a huge, noticeable difference.
Cons:
--The applicator is useless. It looks like a glue stick. The liquid comes out of small holes on the top when you turn the wheel on the bottom. So rubbing this on your face to apply the product is like rubbing hard plastic on your face. The product does not go on evenly. You still have to use your hands or a brush to even out the product. I wish they did away with the gimmicky packaging and gave your more product in a simple tube or jar.
--The price is high for what it is.
I LOVE this stuff. It gives my warm yellowish, reddish undertoned skin a nice pinky undertone. It also makes my skin look and feel SO smooth, and minimizes my pores. It's a bit pricey but I like it. I'm not a fan of the way you get it out of the tube, but the packaging is very cute. I will definitely buy this in the future.
When I first bought this product at Ulta the first thing I thought was "ouch" when it came to the pricing. That is, however, par for the course when you start falling in love with Benefit products. I was excited, though, because after mediocre results with other primers I couldn't wait to try this one. It does some of what it says it will. It did apply nicely, easy, smooth, and made my foundation application much easier. It did brighten my face but once my foundation was on that brightness took a backseat. It states that you can reapply throughout the day for a brightening look. I tried this sparingly one day and it just messed up my make up. I didn't break out my skin, which is a HUGE plus for a primer, however, I've noticed that the hotter it is outside the less hold it gives me on my foundation whereas the Rimmel Fix and Perfect seemed to hold it better. I will probably repurchase this again (I'm on my second tube) but it isn't as holy grail in nature for me now as it was when I first bought it but I'm still glad it is in my arsenal!
Fantastic quick fix for days when you don't want to throw on a face full of makeup. I also use it as a pale highlight above my blush when I'm not wanting something vibrant!

Probably the BEST primer I've ever tried! It brightens up my overall complexion. Non-oily as it absorbs rather fast. I esp love the raspberry-scented texture with the chic packaging!
