I'm a Juicy Couture girl. Flat out. All my clothes are Juicy. So when I smelled this I was like...oh...okay...but since I'm such a Juicy fanatic, my mother bought me the gift set anyway. So I wear it sometimes, mostly as an evening perfume because I just cannot see wearing anything this strong during the day.
But then I was walking around wearing it one day...and I got a huge whiff of cigarettes....and since I was walking by myself and no one was around me smoking I was extremely perplexed until I realized the cigarette smell was coming from ME. And considering I don't smoke, I found this pretty offensive. So I stopped wearing it and now I occasionally wear it since the cigarette smell has kind of stopped. But still...I was very disappointed in Juicy. I thought it was going to be more like Princess or J'adore or maybe Maybe Baby...but this is a little overwhelming and not at all sexy.
So I'll finish up the bottle within the next lifetime or so but I don't think I would buy another.
If you want to know what this smells like, don't go by those cheesy (though cute just the same lol) scented ads in the magazines, because they don't do this scent justice at all.
I thought it was a crap fragrance from sniffing the scented magazine pages, only to receive a sample in a swap package a little while ago.
I began wearing my spray sample recently, and I've fallen in love with this wonderful sweet floral. The notes are also misleading, you'd think this would be a gourmand (I <3 gourmands), with notes such as creme brulee, watermelon, and vanilla, but no it's predominantly floral. It smells clean, fresh, sweet, yet not in a candy way though.
If you like Britney Spears Curious, you may enjoy this scent, it's ageless, I could see a teen wearing it, or a mature woman, there's nothing "old ladyish" about it, but it's not sickly sweet like most teeny bopper scent either.
Last but not least, I've received loads of compliments about how good I smell w/this on, it's fantastic, I had to buy a big bottle recently.
Bleck! That's all I can say about the smell of this. Gave me an instant headache. Gorgeous bottle, but the smell...no thanks.
This smells good but I don't think that it's an HG for me. I feel as though it doesn't last too long on me but I'll probably finish it up if not then I'l just give it to my sister. I doubt that I'll end up repurchasing it.
i fell in love with the scent along with the fabulous bottle- but this is not an everyday scent for me... it is too strong and sweet and sometimes gives me a headache or makes me a bit nauseous for some reason. when i do put it on i spray it away from me and walk into it- and only wear it once a week or so. i still love this perfume i just wish it were more "wearable". i agree with another review that it is very "young and girly" but not a very "sexy" perfume. i tend to prefer more classic and crisp over sweet but i cant quit this perfume as an occasional treat to wear. i would suggest sampling it for a day and seeing how you like it.
My absolute HG perfume now and forever! I will never use any other fragrance again. The scent is absolutely heavenly and makes men weak! I should know, I work at a fire department and the guys cannot get enough of it. They are always asking me what fragrance I'm wearing so they can buy it for their wives! The only thing I don't like is that the scent fades very quickly and it doesn't linger all day so I use A LOT of product. In the last year I've probably gone through 4 1.7oz bottles.
Powdery and way too sweet for me, on the verge of being headache inducing. (Tuberose and vanilla strike again.) It's very youthful and cute and girlie, but aren't there enough of those fragrances out there -- with a smaller price tag, no less?
I really like the way this smells. It is a little strong so keep in mind a little goes a long way. I would suggest you actually test it on your skin before buying because it got good reviews or it smelled good in the magazine. Luckily I liked it in the magazine and on me. Pretty much the description the website gives is how it smells. Creme brulee...so I like it.
I think this scent is wonderful and unique, but I absolutely cannot wear this (and I have tried). I know a lot of people who seem to dislike very sweet scents, but love Juicy Couture. This surprised me, because to me this is sweeter than Pink Sugar or other perfumes of that nature. There is a note in it that will not leave me alone, a note that I can't get used to. Even smelling it on my friends I just can't get the hang of it. However, the creme brulee note is incredible and it makes me want to drink the stuff right out of the bottle. Without a doubt, this perfume is delicious, flirty, and out of the ordinary. It borders the edge of girly, but it's more for a young woman. I just don't think this stuff mixes right to me.
Notes as mentioned on Sephora:
Watermelon, Mandarin, Pink Passion Fruit, Marigold, Green Apple, Water Hyacinth, Crushed Leaves, Tuberose Absolute, Wild Rose, Princess Lily, Tuberose, Caramel Creme Brulee, Vanilla, Precious Woods, Patchouli.
I get the most out of the caramel creme brulee and vanilla, if anything. Those two notes seem to override all the other notes, but I get a hint of the marigold and tuberose.
my mom mailed me a scented ad for this perfume (because of the cute westies!) and i loved it. i ended up buying it a few weeks later and alternate this with lacoste. i like to wear this one in the evening. its not quite my favorite but it does smell heavenly, has good staying power, and always gets compliments.
