This is by far my favorite powder. I'm in shade sandstorm and I love the matte look this powder gives me. I apply a light layer with a powder brush I got from harmon's and this completely transforms my skin! This powder lasts about 6 hours for me and I have oily skin so a touch up is required. I will be buying this again :)
I found this pressed powder to work quite well. It definitely cuts down on the shine. I still had a bit shine on my chin and forehead hours later, but not as bad as usual. I like the way my skin looks after I apply this with a brush over my foundation. It's been stated many times, but I have to add my two cents, the packaging is horrible. How much more would it have cost them to have a top that screws on? The top is very loose and comes off easily. But the product itself is pretty darn good.
Edited to add: I have been using this for many months now, and have come to appreciate this powder more and more. It really is the best of any I have tried, high end or drugstore. It really makes my face look nice. And so cheap. I have repurchased, and will continue to do so.
Edited to add that the longer I use this, the more I like it. I love it when I find a product that works this well for such a small price. ($4)

This is an "OK" powder, but nothing really special to me.
.
Good news: It mattifies skin and does not look cakey. I still need to blot once during the day, but it's definitely better than when I don't apply any powder. That's all for the good news, though (it's also cheap, but all Rimmel's products are).
.
Bad news: The packaging is horrible. The lid is very loose, which makes it impossible to carry around in a purse. You also need to buy/carry a separate sponge or brush to apply it. It has a strong, cheap cosmetics scent (or at least, I think so >.>). Most Rimmel's products smell bad, in my opinion, and this one is no exception. I bought this powder in transparent, which is not... transparent at all. I don't know if it was just a fancy way to say it was very pale, but it has colour in it, so if you have medium/tan/dark skin, this is definitely not going to work. Earlier this summer, I was a little bit tanned and this powder just made me look patchy.

Personally, as far as drugstore powders go, I prefer Maybelline's Dream Matte powder. I'll finish this one, but will not repurchase.
This product does what is it supposed to do, it keeps the oilies at bay. I sweep this on with a fluffy brush after lunch and so long shine!
The price is good but the packaging is horrible. The top does not stay screwed on. I would never just throw this into my handbag into an on the go makeup bag because the top would fly off and powder would get all over everything.I keep this at my desk at work for after lunch touch ups. I would never, ever think to take it with me in my purse.
This is a good product at a good price but the packaging is horrible, hence the four star rating.
I love this product! I apply it everyday as my finishing touch on my makeup, I use the translucent powder. My skin is oily and it does last very well, with maybe one touch up during the day. I keep one in my makeup bag and one in my purse.
I didn't even read the great reviews for this on here before I bought this - I picked it up one day as a last minute purchase...
I really like this, it's completely transparent, not cakey and keeps the oil at bay for most of the day. And it's so cheap! And from reading the other reviews and comparisons to more expensive products it doesn't seem like I need to try anything else. It's great to have on hand just in case, and yes, the packaging leaves much to be desired but I guess at that price what can you expect? I would rather have a better product at a more reasonable price than pay extra for some fancy packaging!

I really llike this powder and the value for money is excellent. This retails for AUD$12 and compared to my Bobbi Brown sheer pressed powder (AUD$65) it beats BB hands down.
I use the shade Translucent to set my foundation and for oil control during the day. It is marketed as 5 hours of oil control so you do need to touch up at lunch time. The powder is finely milled and not at all chalky/powdery on the skin. The packaging is very budget (I hate it) and I would prefer if it had a mirror, but then I dont mind it getting scatched up in my handbag as it doesnt cost much ;p
I have repurchased this twice and would recommend this too anyone who wants to try a good quality drugstore powder which is comparable to the expensive/high end brands. A++++
I have heard that the quality of the Maybelline Dream Matte pressed powder is good so I will have to give this a try too as it's packaging contains a hidden mirror.
I didn't find it chalky. I like it. Probably buy something else because I'm always trying something new but I would buy again.
At first, I wasnt going to purchase this because Ive been afraid to waste more money on Rimmel face products after trying the terrible Stay Matte foundation. But my Target had a bogo free sale, so I went for it. Definitely ten steps up from its foundation counterpart! Makes my foundation matte and gives my skin a poreless finish. I had a cashier tell me that my skin looked like a porcelain doll! Has a nice, clean scent and I find myself not having to touch up (I dont have oily skin though). My favorite pressed powder. Only downfall is the packaging, its a twist off top, but I can just pop the top off without twisting, not purse friendly .
